The Musculature Boost For Masterminds

Hi. 

 

I just unlocked my Alpha Core and want to know if Musculature Boost applies also to the damage done by Mastermind pets as well as any damage powers a Mastermind has.

Yes they affect pets. As far as I know alphas act like an extra enhancement slot and is subject to slight diminishing returns from enhancement diversification.  Most MM's go for musculature but there are outliers.

Ever since the patch I am seriously considering using one of the end reduction alphas due to how much pets spend on end now

Our Alpha incarnate pick buffs pet upgrade powers. It was probably obvious to everyone but I wasn't sure and tested on Necro and Mercs. It should work for Ninja and Bots too.

 

Necro
Upgrade 1: +Dam res. Cardiac/Resilient
Upgrade 2: +Heal. Vigor/Spiritual (Increases pet's max HP and pet's Siphon Life heal)

 

Mercs
Upgrade 1: +Dam res. Cardiac/Resilient
Upgrade 2: +Def. Agility/Nerve
              
Ninja
Upgrade 1: +Def. Agility/Nerve
Upgrade 2: +Heal. Vigor/Spiritual

 

Bots
Upgrade 1: +Dam res. Cardiac/Resilient
Upgrade 2: +Heal. Vigor/Spiritual

 

I don't think this trumps Musculature/Intuition but if pet survivability is the priority, it might help decide an Alpha pick.

Doesn't that just effect your powers and not the pets?  Or is it the same as musculature?

For the pet powers themselves, it reduces the end they spend on attacks

I am not noticing any end reduction in the upgrades for pet spending

Whatever Alpha incarnate you slot then your pets will have it as well.

Since your Alpha slot is an enhancement that is slotted into all of your powers, if it includes Endurance Reduction, it should have the same effect as EndRed slotted in your pet powers - which does in fact reduce the End they have to spend on their powers, as well as reducing the End you have to spend summoning them.
