Arnabas
As per the title, where do we find the password for our base?
UltraAlt
when you use /sgpasscode text to set a sg passcode, the passcode will show up in the system channel. Explanation here :: https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Base_Access_Passcode Edited January 4 by UltraAlt If someone posts a reply quoting me and I don't reply, they are most probably on ignore. Some of them even know that I have them on ignore. But that won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. It's who they are. There is a group of them that have banded together to do it. They think that it is acceptable. Ignore is a tool to improve your gaming experience. Don't feel bad about using it. Greycat
To expand on that - The only time you're going to see your SG's password is when you set it. When people ask about it in help, I try to mention this, and *strongly* suggest putting it in the SG's description or MOTD - someplace easily visible and accessible to the rest of the SG. If you forget it? The only thing you can do (if there's no other SG member to ask) is set a new one, if you're a member of the SG who can. 1 Primarily on Everlasting. Squid afficionado. Developer Faultline Posted January 7 Developer Share Posted January 7 The passcode is mangled before being stored in the database, so it cannot be retrieved. This was done because some people reuse the same password (or something very similar) for trivial and important things, so we didn't want to have a chance of someone accidentally giving out an important password by making it retrievable. Some people may still do it, but at least they have to consciously give the passcode out, witch may give them a chance to think that it may not be a great idea.
