Paragon/Rogue/Praetorian/Official Critter Themed Masterminds

I like the masterminds but there are only so many times I want a generic bot, zombie, mercenary, thug etc.. group

 

I'm assuming it was too much or there is some type of concern adding groups like:

1. Praetorian resistance 
2. Arachnos
3. Vanguard/Longbow/Kheldian
4. Croatoan
5. Freakshow
6. etc.

I'd say it's probably a mix of (a) them being a *lot* more work than a regular powerset, and (b) a bit of being side specific/lore tied, etc. versus somewhat generic "beasts," "thugs" "Ninja" etc.

Right. Can't see having Praetorian Resistance without Praetorian Police.

 

Now say, if you could apply a costume power to your MM pets...

Only if the tone of their voices were shifted into a higher register to match their smaller vocal chords, so they're making high-pitched roars, like angry mice...

Mine giggle like 6mo infants, so possibly even more disturbing.

As much as this might be difficult I would really love the option to play a Robots MM with Praetorian clockwork, or Council Mek men/valkyrie/wolfpack robots.

 

Perhaps a cloned set might be a compromise? Remove the special animations for upgrades, and genericize the attack animations?

 

Am not sure how feasible this is, though. Adding new powers seems ridiculously complex. Anyone with experience on the back-end can comment?
