Burk Posted July 31, 2023 Posted July 31, 2023 Recently I decided to run a new toon through the Croatoa arcs for the accolade. I noticed during that infamous "Stop 30 Fir Bolg entering door" mission that about 20% of the Soldier minions were not granting any rewards. Looking back through my log, I found that this had been happening in previous missions as well. Now as can be seen on City of Data, Soldiers are actually 3 different types: a ranged version, a melee version, and a summoned version. The summoned version seems clearly designed to be the ones summoned by Eochai and recently were set to not grant rewards to prevent people from farming them. My suspicion is that for some reason, the summoned version is also appearing in regular spawns of Fir Bolg as well. 1 From Champion (Hero) and Infinity (Villain), currently playing on Everlasting. Former member of the Hammers of Justice on Champion. Raid leader for 'Everlasting TFs'. Mains: Trickery Girl (Ill/Rad Controller), Burk (Sword/Shield Stalker), and 8 other complete badge characters.
SeraphimKensai Posted July 31, 2023 Posted July 31, 2023 (edited) The ones in the stop the ritual mission were made that way on live if memory serves correct because a few players put some tanks with damage auras around the entry point and just went to work with a continual supply of do with essentially no risk to them. So it might be similar logic to what you're seeing. It's not a continual supply. (Plus there are a couple paths the fir Bolg can take.) A tank doing that would basically be finishing the mission with the same XP as if they played the mission, more or less. Hedgefund Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 (edited) I see that a dev gave the OP a thumbs up which I take to mean that they acknowledge the problem. I just want to provide additional info, especially since I see folks proposing this is limited to the "stop 30 FB from escaping" mission. I'm doing "Defeat all creatures in cave" (also from Skippy) and about half the minions are NOT giving xp. Here's a snip from the combat log: Note before someone attempts a "well akshully", yes the specter is one of my pets, I just didn't snip cleanly, this shows 3 soldiers defeated, 1 gave rewards, 2 did not.
