All the dialog, all at once—anyone know why?

In some AE missions, I've noticed that all the character dialog shows up all at once as soon as I enter the mission.  Anyone know why this happens, and if there's anything AE authors can do about it?

I think the dialog that's triggered based on damage happens when it's supposed to, but the dialog that's meant to appear when you approach the NPCs sometimes happens all at once, even on large maps.

Yup. The “notices the PC” dialogue. It’s a thing, and it suuuuucks. I’d like to say it’s a bug, but, by now, it may as well be a feature, considering all the ways I’ve tried to work around it. This is why you sometimes have to spawn bosses sequentially, if you don’t want them all talking at once. Wish I knew why it as this way.

Right now we're stuck with it. Options are (a) never use that line of dialog; (b) use it when you want the player to "overhear" stuff they probably shouldn't. But mostly (a) for me.

It's been a bug since late Live.  I've reported it more than once and one of our current Devs said he'd look at it.  That was like a year ago though ha ha, so don't hold your breath probably.  I figure it must be a deeply-rooted problem or it would have been fixed by now, either on Live or now.

I know the troubles it causes, I just unearthed an arc I was was working on and gave up on during Live because of the problem (and a couple of others), one can tinker around hopefully enough to avoid it, but it is a real pain.  Chaining is one thing, but if it's an ally, it pings that you're acquired them as soon as they appear, so... if that's the last thing to chain, the mission completes soon as they appear, no matter how far you might happen to be from them.
