Is there a way to save all options to local file?

For some reason once in a while CoH seems to lose its mind when I launch it and resolution gets reset to something ridiculously low and some options, like inverted mouse or show pet window, get lost

 

I'd love to be able save everything to a config file and hopefully reload it from a macro.

 

I do play on several different computers such as my desktop and laptop, which have different resolutions, so I would love for settings to be computer specific (saved on my loacl drive)

Menu -> Options

 

At the bottom of the window are "Load Options" and "Save Options".  It will save/load directly from your installation directory.

The video options are stored in your system registry, AFAIK the options file doesn't store them.

Thanks Fifth Horseman, you pointed out that I did not read this thread as closely as I should have...

 

You videos settings are already computer specific.  If you are seeing your resolution get wonky sometimes, that's a technical issue, not an options issue.  FWIW, I have not yet had this issue and I use a custom resolution.

 

The other options you mentioned are character specific, and the solution I gave you will allow you to load those custom options on any new character (Inverted Mouse and Pet Window are definitely in the options file that you can save/load.

I sometime play in windowed mode (-fullscreen 0 in tequila options) and sometme in full screen (-fullscreen 1)

I think the reset only happens when I go from one to the other, but not always.

 

according to https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Game_Client I could specify the screen option but that would force windowed mode, although I could force the window to full screen?

From new server experience, even the manual saving of settings seems to be not quite consistently right.

 

I've noticed that I can save a settings file (one of like 6 you can create) for one alt, load it on another, and not always have them retained. It seems that not all of the settings are recorded in these files. Thus far I'm not talking about resolution or window size/location.

 

An experiment I did:

I took the installation of the game I have on my main PC w/ 40" TV as a monitor and drag-drop copied it to a 10" Atom powered tablet. Obviously the res and such are different, so everything was big and smooshed after the transfer. So I adjusted for the smaller screen and all was well.

 

Here's the kicker. I then played that same alt on my main later and the windows sizing and arrangement had been changed to that of what my 2nd device had it set to! So explain That to me as I've never managed one except that somehow there are settings being stored on the alt itself.

So the settings that are computer specific are the same settings that are controlled by the "Settings" button on the sign-in screen (Resolution, Graphics Quality, Sounds - basically the hardware related settings)

Windows settings are server side settings, meaning that Window Scale and arrangement will be the same no matter which PC you log with, even though the Graphics are local settings.  Using the Wdw save you can save the Windows scaling options from one character and load them into another, but again these changes will be server side, not local.

I'm not sure I understand the question..Can you rephrase?
