This is an adaptation of my WP/DM Tanker build, premise is pretty much same. Be incredibly tanky. However this time, the build also includes hasten and leans on more damage

 

Pros:

High Defense

Almost hardcap S/L resists

High Damage

Crazy amounts of regen and HP

 

Cons:

Low resists to E/N/C/F/T

Lack of travel power

Cost

Note: Vengeance is used as LotG mule and can be swapped for Superspeed if you dont mind taking a hit at recharge.

I believe you will find Dark Melee/Invul to be way tougher with the same slotting, or tweak it for even more performance.  Dark Melee and Willpower have no Synergy.  Dark Melee gives attacks that give health and endurance, which Willpower does not need.  The Recharge bonus you put in will not affect Willpowers Uber Buff Tier 9, nothing does.  With Invulnerability you have tougher armors, def debuff resistance, and the global Rech brings your tier 9 around faster, also brings the heals and end recovery faster which Invul + Fighting armors need.  Invul is an end hog as we all know.  The Synergy between DM/Inv is truly neat.

To-Hit debuffs on Dark Melee attacks

 

Shadow Punch, Smite, Shadow Maul, Siphon Life, midnight Grasp: -5.63%

Touch of Fear: -11.25%

 

To say Dark Melee has no synergy with Willpower is not entirely accurate. Dark Melee makes things hit less frequently. I love DM/Invuln, but DM/WP is pretty nice.

I'm sorry, but I take issue with this. All of DM's attacks apply -tohit, as does RttC. Siphon life give Wp the one thing it doesn't have, a self heal. Yes, the regen in /WP is great, but it can, and does get overwhelmed at times. If one were to look on the old forums, there are more than a couple of guides that combined these two powersets. As far as  /Wp's Tier 9 being "uber", it is far from that, which is why when you look at most builds, people don't take it.
