I mean, I don't think I'd wanna be THAT guy: "Oh yeah, I'm just gonna hang out near all these giant monsters who want to eradicate humanity. By myself. Except for the 1 hour a day where a bunch of heroes show up for the EXPRESS PURPOSE of antagonizing the Hamidon. Just because some of them want to be able change the color of thier underwear while waiting for the eldrich abomination to arise. Sure. I'll get RIGHT on that!"

Rp/in-universe logic aside, I'd still like something like this, too =)

Lore-wise it might make more sense for a trainer to be there than a civilian, and trainers let you customize your costumes too so that might make a viable substitute.

Yeah, a trainer feels more appropriate.

I care more about in-universe story than I probably should, and I kinda like the idea of amenities like that not being always accessible from anywhere. The fact that an Architect Entertainment building keeps its lights on in the Rikti War Zone is already a bit of a stretch, heh.

Alternatively, if there was an Icon representative desperately cowering in the wreckage of a destroyed Icon building and just trying to hold out until heroes came to help rescue them, that might be a way to get some costume services.

And then don't save them. Leave them there for next time.

We do have a Combat Medic and a Reconnaissance Office hanging out, so maybe they could have someone.  Maybe a Facemaker, since they strike me as more the type to do some "tailor" work out there.

Maybe just have an alternate Combat Medic to replace the one in the Abyss that has tailor options? To be honest, I don't get the desire since you can just use a base teleporter to pop in your SG base and visit the tailor there and you can't see what is going on in chat or the zone while the costume editor is open anyway. Though I do understand the part about possibly not being able to get back in for the raid. So I don't care if this is done or not, but I do wonder how the person will know the raid has formed and launched if they are on the costume edit screen.

You could have a little food cart like setup near the sub.   Sure, it's slow most of the time, but every so often, the zone is packed to capacity with high rollers.
