Can someone please explain how Hide/Hidden interacts with the following powers?

• Genetic Corruption
• Cloak of Fear
• Oppressive Gloom
• Disrupt
• Chilling Embrace
• Against All Odds

 

In other words, if it’s a toggle that would normally cause aggro, what happens if you’re in Hide? Does the toggle draw aggro which takes you out of Hide? Or does Hide suppress the toggle’s effect, so that you don’t draw aggro?

I haven't run all of those as stalkers, but the first two had their aggro effects suppressed while I snuck around.   Testing it out on Brainstorm is a valid test though

Per City of Data, Stalker AAO isn't flagged to Taunt as the Scrapper/Tanker/Brute versions are flagged.

Been a long time since I played my stalled Elec/SD stalker, but I do not recall any conflict with Hidden from AAO. That said, Notify is not the same thing as Taunt, but I am fairly sure that AAO isn't flagged with "Enemies are aware of this attack" either.

 

Not certain about the others, but I want to say that they suppress their effects while Hidden.

Thank you both. I moved forward with the creation of an Ice/Ice Stalker though I’m still a little unsure of whether or not I’ll make room for Chilling Embrace.

I ran a Spines/Ice stalker on Live. Hide suppressed Chilling Embrace.

If I recall, when you're Hidden nearly all auras from your secondaries that would affect foes are suppressed until you do something that would un-Hide you.  Also Stalker auras don't have a taunt effect in general as it would mess with their playstyle of stealth and assassaination.  Very hard to stab someone in the back while you're keeping him busy shouting obscenities about his mother.
