Hello,

I am trying to install the new launcher and am able to get up to the point where I select 'yes' to carrying across user data from an old Tequila installation. I then get a bar that says completing installation but once this has finished I am not presented with the installation EULA and nothing more happens after this point. I have also tried the installation without copying data across from Tequila and the same issue occurs.

Could anybody suggest a fix for this issue please?

Thanks!

Hey - thanks for getting back to me.

Yes I have downloaded the HC launcher several times (both from the main page and then from the FAQ page) but no luck still!

Any other ideas to get it working are appreciated!

Have you double checked it's white listed in your firewall and antivirus? I had a problem where mine deleted the exe file thinking it was naughty. Was fine once I slapped it with a spiked mace and told it to allow it through

This is almost always the AV kicking in. I'd download the file to something Not Overprotected by the OS (I have a separate Temp folder at the root of a spare drive), whitelist the file, run it from there, and then make sure to install it to somewhere like C:\Games\HC as the destination. See my links for more detailed install on Windows.
