Mac B Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Dear Devs, Can we please make it so that players can move all their common, uncommon or rare salvage en masse to the market? I don't like having to move each common type when I'm trying to move all of them. Also, for this same sake, it sure would be swell if there were functions that allowed me to list all my common salvage for the same price. Same with all the other salvage types! They are pooled on the backside so my listing them on the front side for different values seems like a moot thing and I'm listing them all at the same rate cause they're sorta the same same but different, yeah? Thanks for your time and consideration! 2
tidge Posted October 19 Posted October 19 AFAIK, the listing price will default to the last listing price, no matter the object. As for the en masse moving: "automatic" things tend not to happen without verification prompt (which in some cases can be disabled), so this sounds like a request for something personal that would very likely add a lot of grief to others.
Chris24601 Posted October 19 Posted October 19 I’d be happy if they just raised the cap of stacks of things you’re selling past 10. It can be quite the pain when that 72 merit award drops and now you have to drag confirm stacks of converters 22 times over just to get them all on the market (yes, I am the other side of the converter to enhancement market; dropping all my merits into converters and selling them and all my uncommon, rare, and very rare recipes by dumping them for a few credits each for whoever the current highest bidders are). Even if it was just 15 (which keeps the binary of the number at 4 digits; 1111 instead of 1010) it’d shave a third off the number of times I have to drag and confirm. If possible though I’d prefer a 99 to 100 cap on the slider. 1

I don't care if whatever I'm dragging into the AH window gets parceled out into stacks of 10 per auction slot, as long as I can drag the entirety of a big stack into the AH in one move, rather than doing it ten at a time. Being able to check a box for "Post all identical items at this price" and have them all go up with one selection would just be lagniappe.
Ukase Posted October 20 Posted October 20 I wouldn't mind being able to add stacks of 100 either, but I don't think it will happen. I'm certainly not privy to how the servers drive the AH to function, but I suspect the reason they capped us at 10 items was storage. After all the badges and what not, I think we have 200 slots in the AH. Which means the server would have to keep track of 2000 items at present. Take it 100 per stack, and that's a pretty big increase that many players would take advantage of. Not sure it qualifies as exponential...but I'm no math wizard. But it would be a lot more stuff for the hamsters to drag as they run that wheel. The shenanigans with the uncommon salvage, and occasionally the rare salvage? Imagine being able to stash all that stuff to try and manipulate things just a little bit longer due to having that much more storage in the AH. I do feel your pain, though. It's tedious to buy them in stacks of 10, too.

And as we've seen folks DO maniumplate the market a lot more in this era of COH.
