Massinissa Posted January 14 Posted January 14 (edited) I can't find the university that I am told is in Steel Canyon. How do I find it? My salvage is full so I think I'm supposed to use them to craft things now. I'm fairly new to the game, only level 21 on my first toon since the game was live. EDIT: Never mind found it on map. I feel noobish now. Edited January 14 by Massinissa 1 1
Marine X Posted January 15 Posted January 15 The Campus is west of the South Tram Station, and right behind the Midnighter Club. " When it's too tough for everyone else, it's just right for me..." SeraphimKensai Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Also if you look into base building. You can make a functional base with teleporters to most zones, a med bay, enhancement/inspiration/salvage storage, base empowerment buff stations, a mission computer, and a crafting station. This allows you store excess components and finished products and by right next to your crafting table. The only drawback is that you have to leave your base to sell on the AH, and there's no bin for recipe storage, so you have to keep those on your person or email them to yourself.
Game Master GM Crumpet Posted January 15 Game Master Posted January 15 If your salvage is full just sell it at any vendor. White and yellow are mostly vendor trash unless you are doing a lot of crafting. Orange is best sold on the auction house (list it for 10 inf, trust me) and sells for around half a million, give or take.

There's also one for enhancements and another for recipes. (As well as one for sales overall.) 1 1 Unofficial Homecoming Wiki - Paragon Wiki updated for Homecoming! Your contributions are welcome! UltraAlt Posted Thursday at 11:17 AM Posted Thursday at 11:17 AM 18 hours ago, GM Crumpet said: White and yellow are mostly vendor trash I never looked to see how much vendors pay for whites and yellows. Do you know the numbers? I currently always pay 1,000 for all whites and 25,000 for all yellows. I'll up my bid prices if those are below vendor pricing. I do quite a bit of crafting. Selling to a vendor takes the salvage out of circulation. If someone posts a reply quoting me and I don't reply, they may be on ignore. (It seems I'm involved with so much at this point that I may not be able to easily retrieve access to all the notifications) Some players know that I have them on ignore and are likely to make posts knowing that is the case. But the fact that I have them on ignore won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. There is a group that have banded together to target forum posters they don't like. They think that this behavior is acceptable. Ignore (in the forums) and /ignore (in-game) are tools to improve your gaming experience. Don't feel bad about using them.

Vendor is 250 for white, 1K for yellow and 5K for orange. don't sell orange at vendors.....

Honestly I sell those cheap on the AH since A) It's not a huge difference of 20 inf & 250 inf at this point, and often people pay more, so it evens out. (same with uncommon) B) gets credit toward the bulk numbers on selling quantity badges. 1

Empowerment stations are supergroup base items that let you use common salvage (mostly) to get various small buffs to resistance, resistance to status effects, perception, etc. And buying an empowerment counts as crafting for the crafting badges. https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Empowerment_Station I usually find the empowerments to be a lot more useful than the 250-ish inf I'd get by selling common salvage at the vendor. But I always by whites for 1000 and Yellows for 25,000. Of course, the one that is posted at the lowest price is always the first one to be purchased whenever a bid is placed. Zhym Posted Friday at 04:16 PM Posted Friday at 04:16 PM On a related note, how hard would it be (ha, ha) to add an option to the S.T.A.R.T. vendor to reject common and uncommon invention salvage? There are already options to reject inspirations by size and type, or recipes by rarity or category. It'd be great if my characters could just opt out of getting common and uncommon salvage. Sure would save on time clearing out full salvage inventories.
