It Dosnt really have much of an impact for the party if I leave the base as is to be Judged. Admittedly I didn't expect so much competition and thereforer I didn't expect Judging to take the time it would take. Go ahead and make your changes 🙂 We'll stir clear of the base on Saturday (\/) Easter Bunny ( . . ) Retired Community Rep | Active Base Advocate c (") (") Community Base Directory | Base Building Guide | Base Building Discord

Similar story for me, my friend... and I totally hear you on fixing stuff from years ago. Past me and present me have very different opinions on what "good enough" means. 2

We also intend to schedule guided tours with the top finalists. We’d love to announce in two weeks, but it very well could take 3 weeks to deliberate and tour. Thanks for the update. very much appreciate what you, Dacy and the other builders do for the community. 2 2

Maybe I'll change "novice" to "Hubs". Every shard seems to have a bunch of those! The black void is the surface tile (col) tinted darkest black (the black on the trio black/grey/white, not the gradient black). 2 -Dacy Retired CR Active Base Advocate My base building tutorials are always available for you! ZamuelNow Posted Sunday at 10:17 PM Posted Sunday at 10:17 PM Alright, I gotta ask: I've seen a few entries with water that is vertical. How? For example, if you grab Thin Fountain 1, and turn it vertically, you'll find the side that formerly connected to the ground now appears as vertical water, and the "floor" of the fountain is invisible when viewed from that side. Mike.Richards Posted Thursday at 08:32 AM Posted Thursday at 08:32 AM (edited) I am getting ahead of myself, I know, but if I am lucky enough to be selected for a tour of my base, how flexible are the times? I am in Australia (Canberra, which is GMT +10 hrs atm I think) and I recently had to make a work call to Canada. We had zero overlap on business hours. I had to come in early and my Canadian contact had to stay late. Also from their perspective I was calling from 'tomorrow' which they though was very funny. I am happy to tour whenever, if selected, but I'd just rather not have to get up at 3am on a work day to do it. I will do it! I'd just rather not. Edited Thursday at 08:32 AM by Mike.Richards
Retired Community Rep Easter Bunny Posted 15 hours ago Author Retired Community Rep Posted 15 hours ago We’re only just now beginning to emerge from the fog of judging and start the process of determining tour selections. It’s a complex puzzle, and we’re approaching it with care and excitement. That said, please rest assured: in no way would I ever expect the sacrifice to be so one-sided. Should you be selected for a tour, we will absolutely work with you to find a time that is, at worst, only mildly disagreeable for all involved. Your willingness to be flexible is deeply appreciated, and we’ll do everything we can to meet you halfway (or at least a time that doesn’t require setting an alarm for 3am!). 1 (\/) Easter Bunny ( . . ) Retired Community Rep | Active Base Advocate c (") (") Community Base Directory | Base Building Guide | Base Building Discord
