DIGITAL_JEDII Posted April 21 Author Posted April 21 GM_GooglyMoogly A long time ago, in a place far, far away, the original developers removed the ability to slot Set IOs in the Inherent Fitness Power. One reason was stated above: People were slotting one of the stealth procs and ended up not being able to complete escort missions. Aka abuse and or bug! But your right as its been defined this should shift from bug to suggestion and under that thread accordingly. 1

Also not really a bug, just players making mistakes so the devs preempted further possibility of that player mistake. Anyway, this argument is a tangent.

I disagree its hardly tangent as my initial prompt for inquiry highlighted why it was amended by the devs in the first place.
Wavicle Posted April 22 Posted April 22 If I had to hazard a guess, looking at the sets in question (Hypersonic, Launch, and Thrust), I don't think the devs have any intention of giving every character free access to the bonuses in those sets. ESPECIALLY Hypersonic. 1 Wavicle's Guide To What Really Matters: What Needs To Be Done On Every Toon

Starhammer Posted April 28 Posted April 28 I wish that instead of disallowing set bonuses/procs, they had just made escort NPCs ignore allied stealth. Two birds/one stone and all that, since often they lose track of you too easy even without it 😕

Just having the escortees ignore allied stealth won't prevent you from losing them; all you have to do is move fast enough to get out of their 'follow' radius. There are very few rescuable NPCs in missions that completely ignore range-to-escort.
