(It seems I'm involved with so much at this point that I may not be able to easily retrieve access to all the notifications) Some players know that I have them on ignore and are likely to make posts knowing that is the case. But the fact that I have them on ignore won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. There is a group that have banded together to target forum posters they don't like. They think that this behavior is acceptable. Ignore (in the forums) and /ignore (in-game) are tools to improve your gaming experience. Don't feel bad about using them.
twozerofoxtrot Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Heavily proc out upthrust and make it your defacto Fireball. Don't forget to put a Force Feedback proc in there, either. There's some x factor in the proc chance calculator that makes the proc rate much higher than what it otherwise might be. I also fully proc out Entomb. Skip Stalagmite. Personally I don't like Rock Shards. I've used it on different ATs running this set and on my Blaster it's a firm skip. I ignore Seismic Shockwaves unless I can use it on Seismic Force to lower cooldowns. But I never hold back on using that power for the sake seeing the green Seismic Shockwaves ring first. Meteor should be slotted with the Overwhelming Force Damage/KD conversion Proc immediately at acquisition at 26.
Nemu Posted April 30 Posted April 30 What do you feel underwhelming about the combo? Damage? Style? Cool factor? Survival? What would you like this combo to do? What's the barrier that makes it feel underwhelming? Liberty, Torchbearer, Excelsior, Everlasting Jezebel Delias Level 50 Fire/Elec/Mace Blaster I am the Inner Circle!
Uun Posted April 30 Posted April 30 I've got a Seismic/Earth blaster and a Nature/Seismic defender. I skip Encase. I didn't proc out Entomb and Upthrust on my blaster since I slotted those with the ATOs, but I did on my defender. I take both Stalagmite and Rock Shards, but only use them when Seismic Shockwaves are active. Stalagmite gets a massive damage increase and becomes the highest DPA power in the set (it does more damage than quick Tombstone). Rock Shards gets a big damage increase, its range is increased from 40 to 60 feet and its radius is increased from 30 to 40 degrees. I proc out Rock Shards. If you skip these attacks, you can absolutely ignore Seismic Shockwaves, since it doesn't buff any of the others (except for reducing recharge). 2 Uuniverse
Frozen Burn Posted Wednesday at 09:33 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:33 PM My Seismic/Martial Combat Blaster is a dream to play. I didn't proc out anything other than standard set procs that come with the set i'm using. I love Rock Shards and the damage from Stalagmite when Seismic Shockwaves are active - like @Uun described above - too good. Both Seismic and Temporal Manip are good sets and they would play well together. What's underwhelming about it?

Once I got IOs on it I absolutely love this toon (as I sit here 3:30am sunday morning still playing). It does go well with temp manip.. just trying to figure out which procs I can use 1

I would recommend 4 damage procs and a lvl 53 Acc/Dmg Hami-O. The set those procs come from don't really matter. Some might be a little more expensive than others but not by much. You can choose from Targeted AoE sets, Knockback sets, Defense Debuff and Accurate Defense debuff sets. [Caveat 1]: If you don't have the budget for a 53 Acc/Dmg Hami-O, then you can opt to put in a +5'd Javelin Volley PvP Acc/Dmg and pair it with the Javelin Volley proc; you'll get bonus Recovery. [Caveat 2]: If you feel like you have plenty of recharge (and you're /Temporal, so you might), then instead of a Force Feedback proc, you can place an Achilles' Heel -Res proc to debuff your targets.
