character name color

i know how to change title color.  but i have seen people with the name of the character changed.  how?

This can be set with a pop up when a character is logged in for the first time. After that, I believe you can find the option to change by pressing H, or you could use the following slash command:

I am sad. I thought this was going to give us a way to customise the colours of our names - I would like to change Scarlet Shocker's name to a colour that matches the name. I can but dream

i settled on "roleplaying"  which is annoying 1) it is not the exact color i want.  2) it says roleplaying above my name

 

but... let's make lemonade out of lemons.  i now regularly post in General asking for donations to @Snarky to overthrow the various governments of paragon/rogue isles/prae and establish a new world order.  it is not about whether i need the funds.  it is the principle of the thing.  if i can get enough principle together i can live off the interest.  and, um, help everyone in Paragon, the isles, and that gold shithole, to be the best they can be.  Donate today!
