Starhammer Posted yesterday at 10:22 AM Posted yesterday at 10:22 AM obviously, it's not a really big deal, but I would like if we had an ability to "lock" a color selection in the power customization interface, so that when, down the road, we might click "Match Colors" whether across all or powerset, if we had one or more powers we wanted to remain unique from the rest, we don't accidentally change them. For instance, I have a Pyrotechnics character that cycles Red/White, White/Blue, & Blue/Red across attack powers to generate a mix of red, white, and blue, but their support sets and most pool sets get the same setting across all of them. That same setting will likely apply to most Incarnate powers, except for attacks with will get two of the red/white/blue again... Obviously in most cases, it's not overwhelmingly difficult to do this manually... although a couple times I have nixed a rainbow themed concept because there would be a lot of manual color customization, and it's too easy to hit that Match button by habit... but if anyone ever digs into interface stuff, this would be a nice option to have. 2 3
biostem Posted yesterday at 05:57 PM Posted yesterday at 05:57 PM Like an "exempt from global power color changes" type of setting? So toggling it would prevent future powerset or universal power color changes, unless you untick it or manually changed the colors?
MTeague Posted yesterday at 07:04 PM Posted yesterday at 07:04 PM I like this idea, and would be glad to see it done. As a workaround, what I've done is anytime I modify my power colors, or even a costume, I click the "Save" button to create a copy of them I can load up later. It is a pain, and I would far, FAR rather have a lock button of the type you suggest. But saving a power customization set, or saving the look of a costume, can allow you to at least restore them later if you should goof up. .
