SerialBeggar Posted July 9, 2019 Posted July 9, 2019 Scrapper's Radiation Armor Gamma Boost is Auto: Self +Regen, +Recovery, Special Gamma Boost is supposed to have 100% base regen. I've got 3 level 50 generic Heal IOs in Gamma Boost bringing it to 198.22% regen The Combat Attributes is displaying that it is contributing a regen rate = 0.04%/sec (0.63 hp/sec). Now compare with Inherent Fitness: Health which has a 40% base regen. I've got 1 level 45 Heal (set) IO in Health bringing it to 56.20% regen. The Combat Attributes is displaying that it is contributing a regen rate = 0.23%/sec (3.59 hp/sec). Gamma Boost is 3.5x greater than Health, but provides less than 1/5th of the regen? Gamma Boost's recovery seems off too, but it's not as blatant so I'm not sure if I'm just ignorant about something. ------------------------------------------------ Update: I just decided to click the buff icon for Gamma Boost and it is showing: Regeneration Rate = 0.45%/sec ... compared to 0.04% in the Combat Attributes window. Recovery Rate = 2.75%/sec .... compared to 1.10% in the Combat Attributes window. While this looks better, the regen still isn't 3.5x Health's.

This is correct, but playing the set is very dumb, even with full values constantly on both it still wouldn't be OP. Pretty sure radiation therapy especially is bugged by not stacking, and particle shielding should easily have a 60s, not 120s rech, especially since the regen portion of it only lasts for 30s, and the absorb shield lasts like a few hits. Going to make another thread about it, but twice now i've had it actually stack per target hit and it was noticeable and finally felt right. *sigh* FYI, resists in general need fixed across powers and set bonuses alike. Defense cap is 45, resist cap is 90, double the amount, therefore easily resist powers and bonuses should have double the value of like defense powers/bonuses.
Bopper Posted July 28, 2020 Posted July 28, 2020 The regwnwration works like this (basically). You get 5% regeneration always, them you gain 1% of regeneration for every 1% of health you lose. So at most it would give 105%...when you die. Recovery is opposite. You start with 36% recovery, then lose 0.36% recovery for every 1% of health you lose.
