Renatos1023 Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago For 3 of the 4 Penelope Yin TF missions you enter and exit via a helicopter. However, upon exit you spawn INSIDE the helicopter. Depending on team size, if there is an MM on the team, if there is another team also at the heli -- getting out of the helicopter can be a pain in the butt. I've been stuck in there before. Is it possible to make the exit spawn point OUTSIDE of the helicopter? Would simply be a QoL change. 2 Global: @Renatos Server: Everlasting My Top Dog Defenders: Liza Frost - Lv.50 Cold/Ice; Tara Sonara - Lv.50 Nature/Sonic; Voice of Gaia - Lv.50 Sonic/Sonic; Twilight Servant - Lv.50 Dark/Dark Defender; Tenebrous Tide - Lv.50 Dark/Water; Elloria Neutrina - Lv.50 Empathy/Radiation; Commander Trax - Lv.50 Traps/Beam Rifle; Hailblast - Lv.50 Storm/Storm; Elektra Cross - Lv.50 Electric/Electric; Agent Sureshot - Lv.50 Trick Arrow/Electric; Siren's Wave - Lv.48 Marine/Sonic; Agent Blayze - Lv.46 Thermal/Fire; Midnight Servant - Lv.45 Time/Dark; Maysin Payne - Lv.36 Pain/Psychic Other Mains: Nox Eternal - Lv.50 Dark/Spines Tank; Maysin Frost - Lv.50 Ice/Ninja Blaster; Kadsuane - Lv.50 Storm/Storm Corrupter; Fenix Frost - Lv.50 Ice/Ice Scrapper; Helena Hollowpoint - Lv.46 AR/Invincibility Sentinel

Let me explain simply -- when there are multiple MMs on a team, and they and their pets all spawn in the helicopter (plus the rest of your team and whatever pets they also have) it is a cluster-f** to get out. It is not just a physical clog (as your comment is about), it is also a visual clog. Your comment doesn't even address anything, maybe go to bed. There is no need to always be a contrarian. If you play the devil's advocate all the time, you simply become the devil. My suggestion means that you no longer have to spin around in the middle of a dozen+ character bodies to figure out which way is out. Pray tell, why is that bad? Nowhere in my response did I say anything about the suggestion to move the spawn point itself. There have been many requests to turn the spawn point around so players are running out of the helicopter rather than in and I supported every one of those suggestions. Just like I supported moving the spawn point itself out of the helicopter every time that was mentioned in the previous requests. My response was to please not blame MMs and their pets for any inability to exit the helicopters because MM pets were changed back on Live to no longer impede PC movement. Which is the typical (erroneous) complaint made whenever anyone mentions MMs and being able to exit a room or helicopter. (Edit: And seeing as how in the OP you did not call out any other ATs with permanent pets, even multiples of said pets, like say Controllers and Dominators, how else am I supposed to take your MM comment?) Edited 12 hours ago by Rudra Edited to add "in the OP" for clarification.

Ban all MMs!!! and double, no triple patrol XP for any player who disagrees! 🤭 Sorry, but I don’t see why this is a bad suggestion. Edited 9 hours ago by Ghost

It's not an issue with the Yin TF because of the level range, but it's even more misplaced to blame MMs for pets piling up in the mission-exit helicopters, because some other pets do block movement — my Pyro/Marine controller's Tarantula from the Mace Mastery pool, for example, blocks movement while neither her Catherine wheel nor Barrier Reef do. Until the issue of exiting a mission into a helicopter resulting in you/your team running into the helicopter gets addressed, my inadequate solution has been to immediately back up out of the helicopter, rather than try to turn around to run forward to leave it. 1

The only issue I have with the OP, other than what still seems a misguided claim against MMs, is that it only addresses the Yin TF. Previous requests about the helicopters addressed all helicopters in the game. Which makes sense since they all work the same way.
