Zappalina Posted December 7 Posted December 7 Hi, With all of the options available for the Labyrinth of Fog - it would be nice to have a tutorial or something similar maybe a person standing there that we can click like in outbreak where there's an explanation of how to use enhancements. I'm not suggesting missions - just either a person or item there that we could click for more information. I'm seeing all of the options here in the picture and do not know what "font" is when asking I was directed to the forums which is fine I'll go look it up when I have time. However I'd rather just have someone explain it in game and I am sure there are a lot of players out there who do not access the boards and may wonder what they've come across as they're exploring the game. Suggestion: Have a person, creature or object, spirit item etc. explaining what the labyrinth of fog is - (Maybe Charon or Vanth and Charu (or Charun) ) and then that explains what we are accessing, what the glowing portals are, what the center black box is and what those zones are -Maybe if you want to make it more interactive and true to the myths, we give him a coin or something to pay the price to the ones who guard the pathways to the underworld.

Does he talk to someone who hasn't completed the tutorial in awhile? I feel like i clicked on him and there was nothing there as It's been a time since I've originally accessed the Labyrinth before this update.. Could be wrong though I'll log in to check it out. Still suggestions: I did look at him and he does explain a lot of the things that I knew from exploring the labyrinth and doing achieving some of the badges. I don't understand what all of the different zones are from the colors of the swirling portals - those could bear out more explanation somewhere. The other zone that is locked explanation on a way to achieve that (in game not on the forums) would be good. Edited Friday at 11:44 PM by Zappalina
Glacier Peak Posted Saturday at 12:06 AM Posted Saturday at 12:06 AM You're on the right track - by exploring the zone, players uncover the purpose and story behind it. Ukase Posted Saturday at 08:19 PM Posted Saturday at 08:19 PM The truth is, the game could benefit from a lot of things that are found on City of Data, HC Wiki and the HC Forums (and Discord, I suppose, don't go there much). How procs work, is this proc always on, does it need to be in a toggle, how often will it work, etc. What's the target cap of Meteor for a blaster? (16, had to go to CoD for that because it's not in the description. How can I make inf quickly? The game is undergoing a lot of updates, some QoL changes, so super grateful. And, sadly, there probably will always be room for improvement. But volunteer staff, etc. They can only do so much in a day, and only have so much time in a given week or month to do what they can. I know the help channel can be limited in utility when you might want more elaborate explanations. But really, that's the best bet until HC can "catch up", if they even choose to catch up and add information kiosks that reveal lesser known truths like incarnate soft caps, recharge needed for perma whatever. I should add, I think specifically to the labyrinth, much of the questions people have are by design. The intent is to get the player in the zone and explore. The loot from beating various npcs is just an extra. Also - don't discount the letter i in your nav bar when you're in the lab! Lots of good info in there if you click it.
Developer Cobalt Arachne Posted Saturday at 08:42 PM Developer Posted Saturday at 08:42 PM The info NPC standing outside the Labyrinth zone entrance and the nav info could both probably do with updating to reflect the latest version of the zone and mechanics. I'll add this to my to-do. 3 1 2 Love this game and its community? Want to give back? Volunteer as a Game Master! Help make Homecoming the best it can be!
