Papaschtroumpf
Now when I start Tequila it shows the main screen, shows fetching manifest and when it says validating windows tells me Tequila has stopped. This started out of the blue today, I don;t think anything changed on the PC but its' a shared family PC so it's possible windows update or something updated it. I tried deleting the tequila.xml file but it didn't help. I also rebooted the computer, still not luck I also downloaded tequila again and it didn't help. Papaschtroumpf
I looked at the tequila log and here is what is shows (not much) even though Windows tells me Tequila has stopped, the app window is visible. The Play button still showed so I double-clicked on the 64 bit client (which I usually use) but I got an "applciation unable to start correctly (0c0000005) error from Windows. Papaschtroumpf
Temporarily disabled my antivirus (Avast) and it now works 😞 trying to find where the logs are in Avast to see if I can figure out what it doesn't like. I never got any warning that it detected a problem with Tequila.
WanderingAries
If you haven't already, I believe there's a link in the install guide for how to whitelist the game for Avast. The simplest way would be to take the whole directory (IE: C:\Games\COH) and put that whole thing in the whitelist. Also, try the Safe-Mode first to see if that works. If so, then go from there. Papaschtroumpf
Yeah I can figure it out, just weird that it started today out of the blue.
Korbian
Leandro mentioned that with the new patches there would be new red flags in anit-virus. The Beta patches can also affect it, even if you don't play on Justin. Probably just something new went in that Avast thought looked hinky. Papaschtroumpf
Did you try disabling your Anti Virus regardless of what it is?
