I like to do knockoffs of singers - so far I've done Adam Ant, Carl Maria von Weber and Elvis Presley. I quite like my version, Elvish Press-Lee. I gave Bing AI the prompt and the first four it generated were absolutely perfect. No notes. (No pun intended.)

I found that including a description of the boots/shoes/feet really increases the odds of getting a full body. For my various anthropormorphic animal heroes I included "clawed feet" for many of them regardless of species, and that generated full bodies every time. Edit: oops, forgot examples - I basically used a slightly modified version of SB's prompt with the "wide angle" stuff.

So I monkeyed around in Leonardo (AI Art Generator - Create Art, Images & More | Leonardo AI) with this, and it seemed like the best way to get what you were looking for was to just get a screenshot and upload that as guide. So I recreated Peace Blossom in game, took a few screenshots, erased the background... and got garbage. Googled "magical forest" and grabbed a likely scene, pasted the cut-out fairy onto it, tweaked it a couple times, and finally got this after 2-1/2 hours. Might've been quicker to learn how to draw. 😛

Which program did you use for this?

I just used the prompt Marshal General used above, except changing "beautiful female" to "handsome male" -- COMPLETELY FORGETTING to change "red skirt" 😂 -- and these are the three Bing made. The first two with the nipples and quasi-Superman diamond are amusing, but the last one was actually pretty good. detailed, hyper photo-realistic, handsome male superhero, blue eyes, blonde hair, good muscle tone, blue spandex top with a white star on the chest, red thigh length skirt, red folded boots, red folded gloves, red cape

That wouldn't explain why sometimes it worked and sometimes not. It's real black box stuff at this point.

Last night I did a bunch on Bing AI, toward the end I just typed in “make a superhero” just to see what it would make. It generated this long paragraph describing the scene, then proceeded to render, finally coming back with words to the effect of “cannot generate image because one or more words violated our TOS”. I was like, hey *I* didn’t violate the TOS, you dumb algorithm, *you* violated it! I tried several variations, like “make a Golden Age superhero” or “make a pulp magazine superhero”, with the same results. Then I went with “make a cool spaceship” and had the same issue over and over. Finally closed the window and started from scratch and it worked again. It was acting super weird. It would be helpful if they told you which words are verboten.

Yeah, the multiple fingers thing is weird. Although even stranger is when you end up with three legs or three arms. You'd think that asking for something human would automatically equate with bilateral symmetry. My pic of the extra-muscley Professor Wild above had a third arm that I removed. It's hilariously bizarre. The other pic duplicated him in an attempt at an artistic ghost image, but it just kinda looked like a second guy beside him. I erased him, too. (Erasing is the extent of my art skills. :p) Otherwise the pictures were quite good.

I need to sleep but this is too fascinating. AI versions of my Pulp Heroine Dr. Judy Dare. On its own without prompting it rendered Asian and black versions of her. So great.

Tried making my First Nations character Spirit Bear in Dall-E 3. After several iterations the dang AI nailed it.

I checked out the beta server earlier and I really like the Glow option for the various Skull belts, even if it is on the subtle side. I wonder if it would be doable to add a similar Glow option to the Jewel belt and the Ring chest piece. Those both seem like the next logical additions.
