  1. Gratz! What do you think made the biggest difference for the success of the Brute, the increase in the base stats?
  2. I'd reorder my power picks to get Acrobatics earlier for playing. Geared around S/L but should handle most content. 3. Claws - all the time. Love the simple singe and AoE chains. Exemplars well. SS - Rage and Foot Stomp.... Dark melee - Love it with my shield when I can't use Claws Radiation melee - if a heroes gonna farm, farm the best you can Electric melee - Lighting Rod is pure fun Pretty much covers all my melee Alts that get dusted off constantly or did on Live.
  4. Eviscerate is an optional power. But Focus is the best thing about Claws. So don't skip that. I don't think you'll get a lot of mileage out of Assault at level 18, but you could take Focus at 18 instead. If you are going for general game play and have capped smashing/lethal and melee defense, I don't think I'd go for set bonuses that grant AoE and Fire Defense. Perhaps look for more Smashing/lethal resistances.
  5. As much as I loved Claws/SR back in the day, I'm loving my new Claws/Ice Armor Scrapper. Slow Aura, Damage Aura, nice resistance Tier 9 instead of Hibernate, and Dull Pain for hit points. Using Energy Absorption for extra defense and to manage endurance isn't too bad for extra clicks. I tend to jump to a spawn and hit EA or Shockwave first, jump in, then EA. I use my Incarnate powers to compensate for issues with Defense Debuff issues.
  6. Ice/Rad was my main support Alt for the entire run the game. It was wonderful before and after IOs. Damage is certainly lacking for soloing before getting into the epic power pools. But with so many control and debuff options there's always something to do. I like being in melee range so I either have Arctic Air or Chocking Cloud in my build. It's a team friendly combo and I'll play it as long as I am able.
  7. Bit late to the party, but it is nice to see a lot of familiar names. My main global was @Jax but I ended up with @JaxonPenn on Indomitable. Work and life take a toll on the free time for gaming but I hope to catch up with the old Triumph Watch crew.
