  1. Your build should clear most Fire Farms, might not be super quick. The biggest thing that sticks out is the low level of global recharge. A couple little changes and your defense numbers go up that other powers can be slotted for recharge. Positron's Blast, LotG, Doctored Wounds, etc. Was it intentional to not use the same set more than once? Three slotting Aegis into a couple powers is an easy way of getting Fire Defense. Mocking Beratement in Consume and/or Taunt gets recharge and Fire Defense. Get a few vet levels and pick up Ageless for the Destiny slot, suddenly Endurance is more manageable and Hasten is closer to perma.

  3. In honor of my mom completing her chemo treatments in 2020 and World Cancer Day coming up Feb 4th.... Look out for my new Poison/Rad Defender - Cancer Treatment because sometimes the cure is worse than the disease.

You are so far over cap on Fire resistance, there's no gain on Winter's Gift in SS(do you even need a travel power) or really Reactive Defenses in Weave, and then Maneuvers is under slotted for Defense. If you have more defense you won't be needing Healing Flames, so slotting that for Fire defense bonuses. You have Ageless, is the End recovery from an extra slot in Boxing doing any good? Instead of Stealth you could take CJ and still slot LotG +Recharge and get a few points of Fire Defense. If you are going to slot the Purple sets, take the Damage proc vs the straight Damage IO. I think you have more recharge than needed for Fire Farming, I'd get more winter sets(use Catalysts to have Superior versions) for Fire defense or Sets like Annihilation or Scirocco's as cheaper options. Keep an eye on your resistances, if you are over 90% to Fire with only 1 fire toggle running, only run one and save the end, Tough won't help make sure that's not turned on. Also perhaps don't need the +Resist IOs in Maneuvers depending on where you Fire resist ends up. If you are using single target attacks, probably not being as efficient as possible. Probably want Electric Fences vs. Mu Lighting. It has a much lower recharge than Ball Lighting and can immobilize mobs close to you when you might be over agro cap. I would also try and maximize the AoE powers with 6 slots, Blazing Aura, Quills, Burn with more procs(damage and -Resists). With Ageless you probably do not need a 3rd slot in Hasten, but you could get boosters to get the most out of 2 slots. Build up and Fiery Embrace can be similarly used with perhaps one less slot or maybe the chance for Build Up proc in Build Up. For me it's some place between 42-44% Fire Defense I really feel strong in a Fire Farm and stop needing Healing Flames(45% is better). That frees you up from eating Lucks as well having to spend time casting Healing Flames.   8. So one of the best things about SR on Tanks is how high you can push your Def. My Mids build is showing me 4% more Def to Melee/Range/AoE than I have. I swapped a few set bonuses out for procs. I tried to push my S/L resistance up and fill in passive recovery and regen. With so little needed to get to Defense caps you can take the build any way you like. Perhaps massive recharge.   9. Adding in the Fighting Pool for Tough and Weave, taking Maneuvers, and try to add the +3% Def IOs and +Resistance IOs to your build. Then start looking to set bonuses that grant S/L defense. You want to be as close to 45% Defense to S/L and as high as you can be for Fire/Cold and Energy/Negative. That will help delay how quickly your defenses are reduced by certain enemies. Ice is more susceptible to debuffs than say SR, More sets should mean you can move slots from the Energy Mastery Epic. With Energy Absorption you may not need it at all. I would look for any other Ice Armor builds and see what sets people use, some will be very expensive Winter Sets but that does not need to be your first goal. In short you are in the mid 20s for S/L defense and without constant inspiration use some groups will eat that up. Below is where'd I'd start planning my build. I'd fill in attacks with sets that give defenses to Fire/Cold/Energy/Negative, resists where possible focusing on S/L, and +recharge. I would probably take a travel power instead of Hibernate. Keep in mind enemies will still debuff defenses so Incarnate powers that boost defenses are nice, and so a purple inspirations.   18. You can use most of what any of the fire farm builds linked in other topics. There are a few fairly high up in the Brute form currently. But it's basically add in Winter sets where you can to improve Fire Defense, then replace other sets with sets that give Recharge bonuses. Fill in with damage or -resist procs.
  19. OK I am committing to Faerie Fire, a brand new Emp/Fire Defender! You may or may not receive heals considering the supports I play tend to be debuffers.
  20. I'd be for KB protection of say 3 or 4 in Temp Protection. Not so much you won't get knocked back on teams but soloing at lower levels it would happen less. And still give a reason to slot for set bonuses or the KB Protection IOs. Maybe 4 for tankers, 3 for Brutes and Scrappers.
  21. People recommend Mu Patron because you can get 2 AoE attacks without taking a single target power. And Electric Fences has a fairly quick recharge so you can cast it often. Here's something similar to what I started with on my Spines/Fire that's fairly cheap. Get you to 45% Fire Defense and 90% Fire Resistance. I slotted more for set bonuses than enhancing the powers. You may want to use different pieces of the attack sets. The LotG sets are mostly for the recharge bonus, get them as you can afford and use plain IOs until then. The 2 Unique +Def IOs are great to get. And any Endurance improvements you get from slotting Health and Stamina are nice to have. The rest is just picking as much AoE as possible and using sets with Fire defense. Once you are making money you can swap to a more expensive/efficient build and add in more recharge. The Slots I left blank you can fill in with Procs or what ever stats you prefer. Other than that it is very basic.   24. I'm not sure what you would be squishy to on a standard fire farm. But slotting for End reduc will help keep you attacking. If you move slots into Weave and Maneuvers you can keep the LotG recharge. But you really only need enough recharge for an attack chain. I prefer more damage or procs in the AoE attacks I use. And check your math before dropping a fire shield so you keep 90% fire resistance.
  25. If you have enough bonuses you don't need to run both Fire armor toggles. Also if you have Weave or Maneuvers you probably want some Endurance Reduction slotted in them. This is an older build I used but Consume slotted for recharge was enough to solve of endurance issues.
