Did you ever get this resolved ? I’m having the same issue .

which one is better? can any changes be undone?

My question is mostly attuned vs catalyzed ? What's the difference? Can an enhancement be both attuned and catalyzed? I may be asking an invalid question altogether. Can someone break it down Barney Style for me? Also how do you attune an enhancement? Thanks

+1

+1 it would be cool to see powers get new animations to choose from. I’d like to see some villains 1 hand create a force field as if it took little effort. Stuff like that .

Will the setting revert back to normal if you reboot the instances ?

Are there any underrated money makers for converter crafting?

I implore you to reconsider . -
We all know basics like damage, defense, resist dmg, healing etc are some of the more desirable and lucrative categories because of their high demand for most builds . Has anyone caught on to any niche enchantments/recipes that sell pretty well that not many people would think to jump in on?

Now it’s time to create 3 decked out bots ff, put them on follow and troll RV

Back on live I used to pay someone per run to power level my alts. This was due to me not having a second gaming computer to power level my alts myself or having friends dedicated enough to the game, so my only recourse was paying someone x amount of influence per run. Is this still a thing? Do people charge for AE farm runs ? Do it for free? What’s the norm on this? Thanks.

What do you mean YOU people?! lol jk

I can’t really see a good reason to not include this badge in the flashback system While I’m aware of the missions are relatively easy and getting the badge usually isn’t an issue, sometimes bad luck happens like unexpectedly getting disconnected from the Map server because your local Internet went down for maintenance unexpectedly or any number of reasons you could think of that can just be chalked up to bad luck. It’s also especially crappy that you have to get almost to level 50 to botch it. While getting a toon to level 50 generally isn’t a hard thing to do, I would think that missing this badge on your toon that is supposed to be collecting all your badges is an issue. Again I don’t see why something like this can’t simply be added in the flashback system,. The badge grants no game play advantage, it can only be used to discourage people that are badge collectors from wanting to pick up the game for a while if they end up missing it. I haven’t missed the badge, I’m actually probably going to get it tomorrow. I can just imagine how much it would suck though if I got really unlucky and I missed it forever as a badge collector . End of rant

Someone said it earlier but the joker is an example of chaotic evil and he’s a straight up mastermind . Masterminds aren’t impulsive . I mean he can be but not to a point where he ruins his plans.
-
It complicated, evil alignments aren’t necessarily based off just a characters actions but their state of mind. Phipps respects the system only because if he didn’t he wouldn’t be in a position to live out his dark twisted fantasies . He’s not dumb, he’s smart enough to realize his niche and not over step his bounds with arachnos. He wouldn’t be doing his job unless he enjoyed it
-
Chaotic evil is a thing. And Phipps technically does have a goal. He states himself he keeps the dredges of society low so those in power can stay there. He also points out that since he’s undercover as a philanthropist , it’s a good way to gather intel to feed to arachnos. The guy just happens to like his work , hence Chaotic evil.

Exactly ! I’m on my lore toon where I’m trying to get 100% completion (which means I’ve done close to 200 story arcs prior to this one, which is what compelled me to make this post) this was one of the few that stood out. Like you said most of it is beat up / kill person X, kidnap Y and steal Z. Very few arcs were done out of pure evil for the sake of evil. Variety is the spice of life and it was nice not seeing another cookie cutter arc . That being said I felt this was a world where there are a range of evil and types of villains. It’s nice to know that not everyone in COV is a Saturday morning cartoon villain, but to each his own .

That’s actually the more tame part of the dialogue . I was thinking more along the lines of the implied rape at the end was the dark part. And well laughing at blind children is pretty twisted too .

Lol for real?

Thanks for the information. You’ve given me a lot to consider .

So the concept of immersing myself in character and playing the part has always fascinated me. It’s something I want to try my hand at but don’t want to go in completely blind either . I am hoping some seasoned Rpers can give me some insight and dispel some false expectations people commonly have. If I do decide to go through with this, I’m definitely the type of person that’s going to give it my all, not half ass anything and go full immersion. So here’s some questions I have for Rpers that are all about “full on immersion.” 1. I imagine there are times when someone may have to step out of character. How is this normally accomplished? Separate channel? 2. What does a typical RP session look like? Are there organized sessions? Is it just a passive thing you do whenever a fellow Rper logs on? Both? 3. What are some of the common pitfalls that newb Rpers usually step into? 4. Is there such thing as being too immersive ? Not to be confused with inappropriate speech, but simply just being too much into character? If so Examples? 5. Are their any over-looked nuances RPers skip over that you wish they’d acknowledge as an RPer? For example does full immersion go so far as to change players attire when entering a certain building? Is running everywhere discouraged? Should I get that “walk” power handy etc? 6. Is there a group of dedicated RPers that want to scoop me up? Thats all I can think of at this time but any other advise or questions I need answered that probably got left out are also welcome. thanks

Just as the topic implies , it wouldn’t require you to be a base building guru to stack floors on top of one another . Just have an elevator load you to a second floor of your base, so you can continue building.
