Those are what most people would consider niche reasons for toggling it on and off . You sure wouldN’t be toggling Group Fly on/off with any degree of frequency. Now if people only had a fast way to Travel to PD. Oh wait ....

Except the final set bonus in all of the good IOS ATOs seems too good to skip out on. Pet auras etc.

Tier 1s actually add a significant amount of DPS. They also serve as extra targets for aggro. I think turning them off is a mistake. However I would support is having null add a KD option.

So what do bots users do? All of the bots have inherent KB. Just not use that AT?

It might as well be the same thing . I’m not aware of people wanting group fly sometimes. Which is why Null has that feature if you think about it. It’s the devs answer to people keeping group fly to themselves . Figures there will always be entitled folks telling others how to play despite the devs best efforts. Fortunately it seems that people with your view are in the minority and rightfully so.

Only the leader was on my side about it as most of the folks. If the leader asked me to Remove it, I’d recognize I have a choice to make. More than likely I’d deactivate it because it’s not worth getting kicked.

Like I said , if it was a power you could do nothing about id understand . Back on live I never used it for that reason. The fact that null exists is really the only reason I need. If it was a power that you could literally do nothing about Id understand but it isn’t . Forgetting to go to null isn’t my problem . but also I have every right to give my build every conceivable advantage, which group fly objectively does for bots. Any accommodations I may make would simply be an optional courtesy and not deserving of ridicule if I opt out. For the record most people took my side on the BAF , but the fact we had to set aside 5 minutes in the group to talk about it was annoying. Go figure none of the people bitching about it where MM either . I hope people can read this and maybe not attempt to ridicule the next person who uses group fly needlessly.

So I was in a BAF today and 2 or 3 people were bitching about my group fly and asked me to turn it off. I refused . #1 : Im a bots MM. Bots are pure range. Taking them out of melee range is a wise decision on my part. #2 At the end game content I already have enough issue with my tier 1 pets getting killed too easily . So yeah, not going to put them needlessly in Melee range; especially when they’re ranged pets. #3 If you don’t like being effected by group fly you can turn it off via null the gull. Thats why he exists . Quality of life enhancements . #4 when robots fly they get a thruster animation and it just looks and feels awesome . Case and point: Im not going to alter the way I play because you’re bad at this game or too lazy to go to null. #endrant

At first glance they seem outright inferior to ATOs , set IOS and the like and yet people want them . I’m clearly overlooking something here . Can anyone school me on why they are desired ? Thanks .

There is a major exception ATO’s (Archetype Origin Ench) it’s much more cost effective to buy the regular attuned and use a catalyst to make it superior .

Which is the point. Some people care about the feeling of immersion. While I’m not quick to jump on board on some of the methods suggested, CoX feels a lot less immersive than it once did and there are people Whom actually Do care about that aspect of a game .

That’s easily fixable , just do what they do in the praetorian AH. It’s a no power zone .

I get what you’re saying but to be fair I think you strawmanned his argument. The concern was that with every function “on demand” it essentially boils down to “what’s the point in having all of these lifeless building structures devoid of actual people?” With everyone having all of these on demand features it sort of takes away from the atmosphere of an active community in a visual sense. Him actually choosing to travel doesn’t address the issue he raised. The game does feel more isolated not having players spread out on the maps. I do think however there is a way to fix this by incentivizing patrols instead of taking people’s toys away. I will agree you should have to earn the crafting table like we had to on live.

They’re not wrong though. It is frustrating reading questions that are are already answered . Not to mention it potentially eats at the limited time these volunteers have to actually address good questions . The frustration is warranted. Your question wasn’t too bad compared to some of the others posted. It was but the straw that probably broke the camels back.

Seems there isn’t a way to ever get the temp powers from the PVP missions if you out level them. Can we please make these missions accessible regardless of level? The zone already exemps you any how. or have the temp powers added on P2W?

would I be able to aquire said stealth power by teaming with someone who didn't outlevel it?

Is it possible to outlevel certain PVP badges and miss them forever? I'm level 50 and I'm wanting to get the badges in bloody bay and warbug, sirens etc. If there is no recourse i'll be sad. I've madea point to get every badge so far....didn't know there were complete missable badges. If I can't get them on my own can I team with someone who has the missions and get them that way perhaps?

Hi all, I’m making a topic here in hopes of getting some trouble shooting tips since support tickets can be a lengthy wait process . The day after I26 went live I had no issues . at some point in the middle of the night that same day, the servers were rebooted due to frequent crashing (see maintenance notes) Since then, anytime I logon I only stay online for 1-10 minutes at a time before getting “lost connection to map server” and booted back to the login. My internet connection is fine and I have already revalidated my files. Any tips?

I keep running into an issue where I lose connection to mapserver anywhere from 1-10 minutes of play constantly. This has never happened before and I've been playing fine for a good while now. Any tips? Thanks
