Tips would be good for in-world bartenders. I'm not sure the ones that would be used in base builds would need them, but if they worked like the base computer and you paid a single merit, then I can't see why not.

Tips often drop after defeating mobs of appropriate level in a zone. This idea would offer an alternative means of getting Tips.

Anyone who has seen me in action knows why: I can fight in melee range in a way blasters can't. Slot accuracy and to hit and targeted heals are as good as armor.

What if once in a while when you click on a civilian, it opens a dialog box and offers you a tip mission? Maybe the civilian could drop a clue by saying Psst or something as they walk by? It could be another way to obtain tips or missions without having to fight things.

A simple suggestion for roleplayers with base NPCs. Have a Bartender NPC that sells "drinks" that are really just inspirations with made up names so that they aren't necessarily alcoholic. Maybe some cute icons. Since the drinks are inspirations they would function the same or however the dev likes. Maybe some weird visual effects could be added to some?
