There are at least two other exploration badges with multiple sites that need to be visited.  There's one for all three transit stations in Praetoria, and there's one with a whole bunch of sites in the river in Praetoria (that one is especially annoying, because you can't see the markers).

For all three of these badges, the first time you visit one of the markers, you see nothing but your counter going up, and if you visit the same site again, nothing at all happens.

Underground Praetoria also has a few badges in more than one place, but for those, any one location works.

Great catch. I rarely go to Pretoria so I often forget about.

Cool, the times I've used it I got no response. Wasn't sure if the tool itself wasn't working or if everyone hates me. Thanks for clarifying.

I believe if someone doesn’t respond to something like this it’s because they aren’t looking at that tab at that moment. It has nothing to do with someone not liking you or the game not working.

I’ll use an example.  A luck of the gambler defense/recharge 7.5% typically goes for around 6m, no?  Let's just say that's the average price for that item.  Now, someone shows up and posts a 12m tag on it, they have to put up 50% instead of 10%, or 6 million just to post it.  Meaning nobody would realistically ever put up an item for double the going market rate.  And people attempting to do this could be given some sort of notification.

Also, I think information about the average price paid for a given item over a longer period than the last 5 sales of the item should be given to the player.  It's a better context as to what the true average price might be.  For all I know the last 5 items sold are lowball, or extraordinarily high, and I've got no info to help me know the difference.

Why do I have the impression you are not talking advantage of all the types of money in the game?

Merits! Use Merits. You will greatly reduce the amount of Inf you spend if you supplement your buying habit with Merits. Spending that extra $10 million Inf for a rare isn’t as big of a deal if you are using Merits for over 50% of your build.

  4. Doesn’t Hurdle already have a faster forward movement than Swift? The only reason you can’t move faster than Swift is the down-side of the jump. The steeper the down-side of the jump the more truncated the forward speed.

Some temp powers give you a less steep downward fall but none of the actual powers do however.

Am I wrong about this? Because that’s how it feels.

I'm currently trying to make an exotic electric tank build, and while rerolling, I picked the electric melee as well.

The power Jaccob's ladder, is bordering on being a single enemy power.

This is due, I think, to the tiny distance of the power, 7ft, and the way mobs will be positioned and their distance calculated it seems. One mob in front of you, is already at 5ft.

From a post back in 2020. Jacob’s Ladder isn’t broken or needs to be fixed.  It is just a vary limited power.

  6. I spam if I’m looking for a PL. I spam every channel. I get complaints probably about once a month. I usually ask for a PL every Sunday. So in the big picture most people don’t care.

The reason I Spam every channel is because not everyone PLs in the same zone. Not everyone who PLs reads the same channel.

If it bothers you, the game has a mute/ignore button. Go ahead and use it. I encourage those who complain to me about my spam to do so.

Here is the thing. I run a lot of TFs and call out a good number of Giant Monsters. Sometimes those people who have me muted are also the people who want to join my teams. So good luck with that if you choose to put me on ignore.

Im a day one player and have been playing almost constantly for 19 years now. Sometimes the people who bitch about spamming are just people who want a little bit of control in their lives. If I suggest they put me on ignore they just bitch even more. However, sometimes if I explain my situation it leads to a new friend.

Of those who do care, and want me to stop spamming, I explain that I have been playing far longer than they have. I played before they started and most likely will still be playing long after they are gone. This additional bit of information is usually enough to get those people to shut up.

Are there types of spam that bother me? The people who jump on and just bitch about what an awful game CoH is and how empty the servers are. Those are the spammers I can’t stand. Do I mute them? No, because I’ve bee playing long enough to know they won’t be playing much longer.

  7. The one thing everyone is failing to mention, maybe because it’s obvious, is that Jacob’s Ladder is a Meele power. Meele meaning hand to hand.

The game has a few Meele powers that have a reach I consider outside of Meele range but Jacob’s Ladder isn’t one of them.

    Yeah, I'm an idiot.

    It's showing up as 1/3.

What confused me there, is that on my main, it would not increase the counter from 1/3 to 2/3, and there, of course, is no notification since there's no badge yet. I had it to 1 on my main because I did the mission, but I had to do the mission a second time to get it to 2/3, as it would not increase in city hall for some reason.

So it looks like it will not increase if you get the first from the mission, forcing you to redo the mission a second time.

The order does not matter. The only thing that matters is VISITING ALL THREE VERSIONS of the memorial. Each version of the memorial counts for 1/3 of the badge. After you visit all three locations and only after you visit all three locations will the Badge trigger.

At the moment it’s the only location that works like this.

  9. Probably not happening in this case but thought I’d throw it up anyway.

I have my HUD set up in such a way that if my buffs go to a second or third row sometimes my Map covers it. I’ve forgotten about this happening once or twice and wondered why I’m not getting the buffs I should be.

Also, there was a known hole in the safe in Pocket D. If you are hugging the wrong wall you don’t get credit for the day job. Not sure if this has been fixed yet tho.

"If" you read the post you were responding to originally, then you may notice why your statements seemed like a non sequitur.

I am explaining why you and by "you," I mean anyone with this play style, don't get the incarnate drops you desire.

The incarnate system was not designed so just anyone can become incarnate. Besides originally being behind a paywall you had to complete specific tasks or trials. You obviously are not doing so. This is what I was attempting to point out to. Not just anyone can become incarnate. Nor should they be able to.
