I don't think I've ever known about a visual effect for that proc! I have it slotted on a few toons so I'll make a point next time to notice. I prefer the permanent kb>kd of the Sudden Acceleration set, but some toons have the whole Overwhelming Force 6-slotted. What I see in that picture is an animal print and blood droplets, like possibly from bloodlust. My first thought was that you or Jax were using savage melee near me, as the 3 of us were fighting that titan, but that wasn't it either.

I love it so much that you are following up on this. Thanks! I've been having an amazingly wonderfully productive week, but I had to put gaming tasks aside temporarily to deal with some stuff. The funny thing is.... I was on the ball Saturday and actually got them all edited, just haven't had time to upload and make the post. 🙂 maybe tonight

Was planning to join tonight, but can't remember which platform you guys use for planning. I rely on notification reminders for anything scheduled. Is it on for tonight, and if so, which server and which SF? So I know who to log on and transfer over to brutalize things!

Sounds good to me. I don't know what all the badges are yet. Need to look that up! So far I've only been opening the time capsules for the "25" badge but haven't done anything on a team though. I'll get up to speed before we start today. How cool is it that they used the same spawn points as Christmas presents..... Rich was wondering before the event started if that would be the case, and sure enough!

Staff is so much fun! Can you believe as much as I love it, I have only put it on ONE character so far... a scrapper. I think the combo attacks started to stress me out 🤨 (same with dual blades) so I tend not to play her much. I'll have to try it for a tanker. I have a dark armor tanker too, but paired with rad. I really need to play my tankers more! I have two 50s... fiery/titan weapons, and dark/rad. I have a few others sub-50. Sorry you have to miss this one, but there will be plenty more dark themes in the months to come! Or some other theme that he'd fit. We will meet him eventually. 🌃

Wow, now we're talking my language. I fell in love with dark melee in 2006. My first 50 hero was a dark/regen scrapper. It's what made me love this game, after my epic fail with my ice/thorn dom. LOL. btw, I remade her on HC but hardly ever play her! As much as I love dark melee (Midnyte... duh... DM/WP brute 😄), I have dabbled in dark blast, dark armor, dark miasma, dark control. They are all my first loves, with ice-% coming in second. I don't know why, or care to analyze it. I just know it resonates strongly within me. Maybe I was a witch in a former life. 😄 Tonight I will go through all my many, many dark powersets to find someone suitable for LRSF. Will update here! Sat morning update: @TrixieKixx, Midnyte - DM/WP Brute. I've been watching the team makeup so far and brute seems good choice. I could also switch to dark/rad tanker if need be. Even though the min level is 45, with everything conning +++ I'm more comfortable bringing a 50 esp if I'm the only damage-absorber (Midnyte drinks it for breakfast). Also, I've been trying to figure out the badges associated with LRSF. Somehow Midnyte doesn't have Annihilator, so I'll bring her. I guess it's not a given to get that while completing the SF. Not sure, it's been so long since she did a LRSF (I know we're not going for Master today, so that can wait).

I totally get it. It all depends on what your purpose is. For my purpose, I like to have all the storage for all my 60ish toons. For your socialization purposes, I'm sure you can find an SG that still does that stuff!

Hey OTR, long time no see! Glad you're enjoying your new widow. I haven't read her story yet but look forward to it. Just wanted to briefly address your SG situation. Gone are the days when SGs were a necessity to plan group things. These days most folks just have their own SG to house all their own toons, since it's all free now, and using SG mode to earn prestige is no longer necessary. Have you made your own base before? If not, you could start with a simple functional design that stores all your loot and gives you a place to chill out without getting logged out of the game from inactivity. I'm happy to help you in-game if you want.

So, we already have controller and corruptor, and a maybe blaster 🙂 , what shall I be? Off the top of my head, I have several sentinels, brutes, and probably a couple scrappers who don't have all the badges. Put me down as TBD, until I see what others wish to play.
