Penelope Yin TF - Magician costumes - Illusion Control powerset Saturday, Jan 27, 2024 Somehow we all had unique powerset combinations without even trying! @TrixieKixx brought controller, Mizz Direction Commenticia, controller by @Burnt Umber Lady Seafrost, controller by @Midnyte (This name comes from her previous role as a mermaid. I had planned to rename her Arctic Mirage for this theme but ran out of time. I also forgot to give her an appropriate badge title 😕 ) @FrauleinMental brought Lanthanum Lethe to the party, new dominator An appearance from @Glacier Peak is always welcome, here is dominator, Spellbind Mister Mindbender, controller by @Bananiac (Great name... somewhere I have fortunata, Lady Mindbender stashed away!) Nice to see longtime Themer, @TygerDarkstorm return with dominator, Illusionary Sora @Jaxman100's dominator, Electric Box Parts Making good use of our time while awaiting the rest of the team All present and accounted for! By now, midnight had arrived in Independence Port, and these very dark photos took a lot of Photoshop "magic"! The card tricks were fascinating 🤩 The task force was completed with ease ~The End~

Silver Mantis SF - Stone/Earth powersets - Costumes portraying a Rare Earth Element Saturday, January 13, 2024 This was a really fun theme! It was great seeing what everyone created. Some even took the extra step to include a matching name! And I caught two themed backstories.... let me know if I missed anyone, send me a screenshot, and I'll update your solo picture. Tanker, Crystal Golden by @TrixieKixx (I just love your story about her! And I love all the fine details of her costume.) Greystone, scrapper by @Jaxman100 (I really like your name. So classy with a hint of ancient, and definitely rugged.) Lanthanum Lethe, dominator by @FrauleinMental (Riveting story!) Neodymium-60, dominator by @Burnt Umber Scrapper, Crystal Moonstone by @Midnyte Yttrium Flare, tanker by @Bananiac (That face!) Six rare earth elements This map is always so interesting Lethe's Decoys to Crystal Moonstone: "We'll show you how it's done!" The Neodymium Imps were marvelous Always fun and challenging to "lure" Duray out! He was melting like butter so we changed to Plan B: "Take him out here!" And Air Pirates/Pirate Hunters we became! After the SF, some of us went in search of Rikti Invasions @Lividus made a league I really enjoy whacking away at those bombs! ~The End~

Interesting theme here! I didn't know what it meant until I researched the 17 rare earth elements from the periodic table. The disappointing thing is the colors are all so boring! Grey, white, beige, etc. Haha, so I may deviate from that a bit when I choose my element to represent. I've been sick with flu alll week so haven't thought yet about who to bring to TinPex, but count me in. Tell me what AT would round out the team and I'll bring it! Also, Trixie, looking forward to these fun themes this month. A couple of years ago I made an illusion controller in anticipation of this! She's still in her 20s so it's perfect. 🙂 Super excited for the Valhalla theme too!!! And what amazing news to wake up to this morning! We're playing a real game again! (partially facetious because it's been "real" to us all along 😄 ) but you know what I mean. @Bananiac: "Elvish Impersonator"! That's the funniest thing I've seen in a long time! Winter Event and Costumes Saturday, December 23, 2023 Five Themers signed up and we picked up Joe Mamma in the Ski Chalet Potato Dumpling, candy-striped tanker by @TrixieKixx Festive controller, @FrauleinMental (Is that the sci-fi skirt? Or is there a fur-lined flared skirt I'm not remembering?) Corruptor, Horrere, scary yet festive look by @Burnt Umber The tricky & festive Smiley Goblin, corruptor by @Bananiac Crystal Moonstone, scrapper by @Midnyte Awaiting further instruction from Father Time. We had to rescue Baby New Year several times, and also defeat Lady Winter. Lots of gift exchanging going on! Time for some recruiting to try to extend our festivities to other lonely Indomitable players Added Joe Mamma and away we go! "Defeat Lady Winter" mission Watch out for flip-flopping snowmen! I don't consider this going against everyone's grain.... I think I was the only one who stated that preference, and for me it's a fairly new preference. Back on live, my most irritating thing was running out of endurance. I was a recovery fanatic! Once I discovered regen for the recovery, it was glorious. And then when willpower came out, and it had resist and defense and regen and recovery, all rolled into one delicious package, I was hooked forever. (Note that all this is before taking into account IO set bonuses and incarnate abilities). So when Homecoming started, and sentinels came to be, I started making them left and right because I was enthralled with the AT! And HC was not stable at first so every day we logged in we didn't know if it would be the last. And I used willpower on all of them! I was obsessed with /willpower sentinels in 2019! As my playing ability has become more experienced, I yearn for more actions from both sets just for the fun factor. And that is the only reason I was recommending a more lively secondary for sentinels, because that's what I've been experimenting with lately. I hope you enjoyed my little backstory of where my preferences come from 😄 😄 😄 Oh that would be terrific! I'll be in-game as well. Not much holiday stuff in my family anymore with both parents gone, and my sister's and my 4 kids, aged 26 to 30, spread out now and hard to get everyone together at one time. Gone are the days of big family parties at every holiday and occasion. It feels right for this time of my life. I turn 60 next month and I'm ready to have less family obligations and more of my own leisure time for gaming and traveling and hobbies and projects. Anyway, so far this event I've done lots of rounds of BNY missions on big teams, a few Lord Winter's Realm trials, but very few zone GM Winter Lords. i'm open to anything! And may switch characters a few times. Thanks for offering your team/league management duty!

Awesome! That's my Poison Petals, and I agree it's a fun combo. I should bring her out to play more often. Mine is only L40 so Cherry Blossum has surpassed her! (btw, I'm off work too until after the new year!) You're welcome, it's such a fun task for me every week. I agree, it was excellent fun! I saw Cub appropriately scrapping around the edges, and I focused completely on Reichsman too which took all my efforts. I didn't know what was going on around me. I hope that was the right strategy. I seem to remember a time where we were told to switch between him and the mobs that come running in, but I may be thinking of something else. I just kept taunting and attacking and debuffing over and over and over. 😄 My ice defenses are not built up heavily yet for any good tanking but I did okay with lots of inspirations and all that good healing/buffing going on. 😍 LOL, you're welcome! It's one of my favorite parts as photographer to see what kind of funny closeups I can get! Sorry you were late but you got there in time for the best part anyway 😂

Wow, welcome to the wonderful world of sentinels! IMO, it's the easiest AT, well-rounded, all-around fun and easy. Master of nothing yet good at so many. I found a seismic/stone sentinel I had made a while ago and was sitting there at L1, waiting for some action. I put her in some Baby New Year missions and she leveled to 18. I'm really enjoying it. Looking forward to trying @Jaxman100's build with the +range bonuses. (btw, great name! Mine is named Terra Tremora. 😄 )
