I love sentinels but then again, I'm pretty casual about the numbers for a build. I rarely use Mids, I just slot mostly sets and tweak as I go. So that said, every sentinel I've ever played is fun. Kind of a dream come true for my style of playing where I want all the protections but yet the convenience of ranged attacks. One thing I'll suggest is to choose a secondary that has some button clickies, like radiation, to keep from being bored! haha, as good as willpower is, it's kind of boring, a "set and forget" powerset, and so is regen. I find my favorite sentinels have secondaries that DO something. And I have a lot of flavors! Currently I have six L50 sentinels, and a few more in their 30s/40s. If I had to choose a favorite combination I'd say ice/rad. (P.S. If you have a good feel for playing a blaster, you might be disappointed at the lower dps of a sentinel. I personally have never really enjoyed being so squishy so never played blasters much, either on retail or HC. So that's why I say a dream come true for me, being able to play a blaster set but with the protection secondary.) I'd say roll up a few and see what flavor you like best!

Aha, you just reminded me of a conversation I had with a CoH friend a couple years ago while discussing this glitch. That the power is granted at the end of the previous mission, not when you talk to the contact. Not sure if this matters, but at least it pinpoints where the glitch is happening. IOW, if you don't get the power at mission complete (w/the relics, etc), then you're glitched and not going to get the Midnight Visage power ever. I want to know a solution, Dagnabbit! 🥲 (It's 2 missions that must be completed, but once you're stuck in the cycle you can auto-complete but then have to wait another 3 days to auto-complete the 2nd one!) UGH! 😄Again, not the end of the world, but to me something worth noting.

So envious you got to go to Oslo! But glad you get to relax at home now.

I have had this problem occur on multiple characters over the years. The only way around it seems to be auto-completing, which is so disappointing because it's really a fun mission to be disguised as Ashley McKnight's father.

I'll be there today. Looking through characters now. I found a dark/rad tanker who has Maria Jenkins and hasn't started yet. (not a requirement but why not, right) EDIT: Changed my mind and will be playing dark/rad controller (ironically) 😄

I use those alternate animations a lot on my characters. Especially for the "breath" attacks or "hands-to-head" attacks.

At Walgreens yesterday I saw that Crown Royal has their Salted Caramel out for the holidays. So guess what I'm sipping on right now? Happy Saturday night! (And no, I don't just buy it for the snowflake pouch 😛 although I do have quite a collection of all the colors 😄 ) EDIT: I just looked at my Crown Royal bottle and it too spells it without the E.... I have only ever drunk Woodford Reserve on planes! Also I think I bought a bottle once as a gift set that came with 2 old-fashioneds. I'm a sucker for barware! btw, you seem to know as much about bourbon as Fraulein! Don't you hate it when you find yourself on a TF and don't know how you got there? haha! 😛 I've been playing Glacial Harmony all week and am actually enjoying it! I might start playing doms again!

Well you know a heck of a lot more about bourbons that I do! All I know is I pour it into a glass and it tastes good. 😄 Maybe that's why I go for the cheaper names... Evan Williams, Revel Stoke, Rebel Yell, etc., because I can't detect a good bourbon from a bad one. I did splurge on a bottle of Brothers Bond when it came out, because I'm a Vampire Diaries fan, so I couldn't resist. 😄

Very cool! Maybe I'll make a travel tour of distilleries around the country. Like some people do with stadiums. I've already started doing it with observatories. I need to become a travel agent! P.S. I'm an Evan Williams girl!

I have fond memories of visiting the Jack Daniels distillery when I lived in the south. Where did you go? I realize Kentucky is Bourbon Country, but I guess I lump all of the southern states together. LOL (except Florida, which has more migrants/tourists than southerners!)

Tarikoss SF - "Fatal Flowers" theme - Plant Control/Nature Affinity/Bio powersets Saturday, 11/11/2023 I really had fun today among all the vines and spores and tangled masses of heroes we deftly defeated... hope everyone else did as well! Everyone who signed up was able to play, and we recruited Quest just before rolling. (I forgot to check his global name... anyone know who the player is?) With the aid of tiny roots that Flora summoned to emerge from her fingertips, she was able to dictate in record time the pre-SF briefing Now to frolic in the hills of Cap au Diable, practicing her powers while awaiting the rest of the Vegetation Troop Our leader has arrived. Let the party begin. 🍃 Ima Wallflower, controller by @TrixieKixx has an exquisite look and compelling backstory Flora Volta, controller by @Midnyte, feeling the effects of autumn already, as her anato-botanical physiology begins to mimic the colors of the nearby trees wherever she happens to be 🍂 @Burnt Umber brought a bio brute to the vegetation table with Marcor In a super snazzy-scary vine-ish look, Red Vine by @Jaxman100 Winner of most giggle-worthy chat of the day, bio brute 'Shrooms by @Bananiac "With so few words, he said so much." And awaaaaaay we go! Today was a lavish array of sights and sounds Trixie, there you go with that flower arm again! Such flair. 😍 I just love this whole SF, and this mission is no exception.... very customizable on how you run it. (Fight your way through... or everyone fly around scouting... or mixture of both. Many options.) Flora's squishy-assed self pleading for someone to teleport her so she could safely rezzzzzzzzz (thank you, btw) 'Shrooms was a riot today! And Red Vine brought the dry wit, as usual We got him to rise! And proceeded to keep him stormed, tangled, irradiated, thorned, shocked, and...most importantly, 'shroooooooomed! After we spawned the zombie invasion in Port Oakes, we were compelled to go fend them off! Trixie and I logged on alt-accounts to bulk up the team to spawn the EBs. It worked really well, as usual! But I was so busy alternating between both characters that I kinda forgot to take any pictures. 😮 I did find this one picture from my 2nd toon when she got there, but my screenshot UI was toggled off by mistake. Um, because, you know, ... zombieeeees. A little post-invasion coffee chat (yikes, why does this suddenly feel creepy, as if they are *my* two alter-egos 😮) Oh and then look... found this one in my phone. Had totally forgotten about it. 😄 Which is cool for 2 reasons. 1) so I can show you guys my set-up. And 2) because I was able to zoom in to get a roster of the invasion team 🆒 😄 btw, Dazed Dreamz is Trixie's alt acct and Arctic Rain is Midnyte's (mine 😏) IIRC, Roughshod Rod was @Zeke-something I can't remember. I recognized the global name when I saw it, just from being on the same team/league sometimes. ~The End~

Love this theme! It should be a fun one. I took inventory of my 100+ characters... some active, some name placeholders, and some powerset placeholders with no name yet! I discovered that across both accounts I have only TWO with Nature Affinity, both in their 30s, one MM and one corruptor. But amazingly, I have ZERO using Plant Control! So my goal is to make a new one for this. So I can be a female Bananiac when I grow up! 😄 (What is his secondary, btw?) I haven't decided on my secondary yet. Glad your clan had fun at your con.... that makes it worthwhile to miss our weekly event! Thanks. I knew it at the time that Intellivision was obscure. All my friends had Atari, somehow I had the alternative. (Alternative should be my middle name... it seems everything I've done or believed in life so far has been the alternative version.) I had fun looking up stuff about Intellivision, and evidently I wasn't the only one on the planet who had one! 😄 The world map showed the mountain range to make your way through to the final mountain. Each mountain was entered as a level to clear before continuing. It was so much fun for me to research this game that I played 40 years ago! 😄 (and now I can hear the theme music in my head) I got the 1983 version that bundled Burger Time with the console. Some say it's a better version than the arcade version. I had fun with it and got pretty good at it. Snafu was another I liked a lot. Well thanks for the trip down memory lane! Now back to our modern 2-decade-old CoX! 😄 She looks like fun, hope to meet her soon!

@TrixieKixx, For the Abandoned Sewer Trial, I changed my toon to ranged so she could have dragon wings.... because I remembered how much I loved "Advanced D&D: Cloudy Mountain" for Intellivision II when I was in college (mid '80s), so I made a dragon named Cloudy Mountain - Water/Pain Corruptor I may be able to meet up at our 11:45 EDT gathering time for pictures and possibly start the trial, and then play as far into as I can before I have to leave.
