This seems to be my limited experience with it. Usually, you can find some niche where a power may not exactly shine, but is effective at least. I get that, statistically, SOMETHING has to be the worst power, but WoC definitely pushed everyone aside and said, "hold my beer"

I would like to use World of Confusion for a concept character I'm working on, but I see no love for it on the forums. I would like to use it for its confusion component, and seen suggestions that require at least 3 Acc/ and 2 Confusions and even then sounds lackluster. Should I just proc it out for damage? I'm not expecting it to be a game changer, just want it to be somewhat effective. What are your suggestions or is WoC just a lost cause?

Not sure if this has any connection or not, but it is pretty much exactly a year ago that the "Uncommon Salvage Spike" happened. If I remember correctly, it lasted about 6-8 weeks before things went back to the 1000-1500 range.

Not necessarily farm animals, but I do have the following:
Gorilla my Dreams-Katana/Willpower Scrapper
Aperil's Fool-StJ/SR Brute
and a couple of "homage" characters, just to see how close I could get:
Darkening Duck-MA/Nin Stalker
Duck Dodgers-Beam/Willpower Sentinel
On a separate note: how do you get shots of your characters from the character screen?

I may be offering some unpopular opinions here, but based on him being new to keyboard gaming, I would lean towards a ranged character that he can just "tab, fire" between mobs and not need to worry as much about chasing down runners. A Blaster would let him do tons of damage, with you backing him up as a Controller/Defender in case things get too hairy. I would also suggest Energy as a primary as it gets its snipe early at 8 and regardless of KB hate, it is going to feel like a super hero and give him a bit of soft control that he doesn't have to think about. Also, with color customization, it is gives a lot of options for what that energy could be so it can fit pretty much any concept.

Who is Maratus?
They appeared out of nowhere with an assignment to the Fortunata program, some say signed by Lord Recluse himself.
It never speaks and is only seen when carrying out assignments.
Was it sent in to ferret out corruption in the Blood Widow program?
Is it a Family goon discovered with extrodinary psychic abilities and brought in to indoctrinate?
What is Maratus?
Is it a next-gen Clockwork sent by the King to destroy Arachnos from within?
Is it an alien being whose intentions may be fair or foul?

Honestly, I don't know either. I hadn't rolled up a Fortunata yet and found a fun name and costume and decided for "Mysterious Past #624" But I thought I would put them out here and see what insane theories you all could come up with. Have fun, maybe your theories are true, maybe none of them are, maybe ALL of them are. We will never know.

You have a 1000 character slots/server, so make them ALL! Also, When the screen gets all blurry the first time you hear the Atlas Park music, that is working as intended 😉

@Naraka, maybe not everything you wanted, but between Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olson, Superman's Girl Friend Lois Lane, and Adventure Comics, they could definitely hit the WTF Event Horizon. The late 50's through the early 70's were a wonderful(?) time to be a comic reader

@srmalloy, I turned off Advanced Graphic Settings and then turned them back on and that seemed to correct the problem. My new question is how are these pieces "supposed" to act? Is the whole piece pulsing "working as intended" and I have stumbled across some workaround or should it only be the cracks?

@Vulpoid, thanks for the assist, but neither option seemed to do anything. Here are 2 shots to show what I am talking about. Before the cracks in the Fire and Ice pieces would pulse with the bright orange secondary color but now the whole piece does.

Does anyone know how to stop the pulsing effect on the entire Fire and Ice costume pieces? I adjusted my graphic settings and before only the "cracks" of the pieces would glow. Now the entire piece pulses with that secondary color and I cannot figure out which setting I changed to fix that.

This may seem like a crazy question, but is there a way to change the background color on the character creation screen? I swear it use to be blue back on live, but maybe it switched when COV came out?

We meet Blue Spectrum in the Galaxy City Tutorial and are told he is able to absorb the powers from others and use it to power himself. So, what do you think his powersets would be? I'm leaning towards Kin/NRG Defender. If we let him absorb our powers, we are under a regen debuff, and it looks like he gains health, which is pretty much Transfusion. Any other thoughts? Let the speculations begin!

This isn't a question of how to get Perma-Dom, but more of the best mechanics to use to maintain it. Do you Auto Dom or Hasten? Can you link the non-Auto power to one of your attacks via a macro? How do you track your non-Auto power so you hit it as soon as it's up? Is it just a matter of putting that power somewhere in your tray that you will see when it's recharged and just training yourself to see it amongst all the chaos? I have been struggling with this so far and am just looking for a way to "idiot-proof" the process.

@Yomo Kimyata's guide is my bible for those "need to have" IO's (seriously, read it, it has all the in depth info you need) , but to summarize and since you also asked about levels:
My 100% IO's because everyone has Health and Stamina:
Panacea (+HP/+End) at level 7
Performance Shifter (+End) at level 17
Preventive Medicine (Absorb) at level 17
Power Transfer(Chance of Heal) at level 18
All the others suggested I will hit on most of my characters at various levels, but Panacea at level 7 is a godsend for early levels and I can't see any reason not to pick it up as soon as available. Kismet would be 100% on the list at level 7 if it didn't require an early pool pick for some AT's.

So, honest question here, what constitutes the difference between copyright and homage? I enjoy making "homage" characters and seeing how close I can get in the creator. I am not too concerned with my "inspired by" toons such as Park Knight, my color swapped Plant/Thorn Dom, but I do have some that are closer to "real life", such as Chasseur De Betes, a AR/TA Cor who came out surprisingly close to his House of Mouse inspiration. Is a name change enough? color-swap? power-swap? All 3 required? Obviously understand the need for the policy and don't want to give the dev's busy work monitoring all the reports, but are there specific rules or is it more, "I'll know it when I see it"?
