  1. That I wasn’t aware of, but explains some of the quirks I have noticed that I was attributing to chains just being weird. Good info!
  2. If you really want these critical failures to be removed, then ion would have to be nerfed to save any semblance of balance. Either lower target cap or less damage. I do think a discussion/suggestion thread on how to make the other judgement powers more appealing would be worth while. I would like to be able to pick the judgement that fits my theme and not feel like I’m losing out in the high level content incarnate powers are designed for. Destiny is a good example of a more well balanced set IMO. Of course Barrier is more common in the extreme meta, but Destiny is the only set that most of my toons have at least 2 different powers crafted if not more. Because there is a case to be made where depending on the content, you will want a certain Destiny over another. With judgement you are either choosing theme, or you are choosing Ion.
  3. Although I agree the mob alert sucks, this is one of the drawbacks that gives the power a little more balance. It can hit more targets than any power in the game, even jumping around corners. It also has the drawback to critically failing if you target a mob who’s body immediately de-spawns upon defeat, and they are defeated before impact. Ion doesn’t need any drawbacks removed it is already the only logical Judgement power choice from a pure damage/meta/numbers perspective. If you choose any other Judgement power you are doing it purely for flavor/theme because it’s the wrong choice if it’s not Ion.
  4. I'm not inherently opposed to the idea. Still, I just can't imagine there is any way for the devs to make this realistic without it looking absolutely god-awful for the several reasons mentioned above. Cars strafing, driving up stairs, cars falling off the top of Atlas statue. It would be funny for about 5 minutes, but then it would be tiresome watching people drive over newbies leveling at Ms. Liberty. It would likely be used more for griefing (Not that the possibility of griefing means we can't entertain an idea) than actual RP or any other legitimate purpose. On top of the visual oddities this would create I don't think this is worth the effort honestly.
  5. It does indeed work! Very handy little trick. You are limited to 5 of any same amount buff. So you can only have +10% recharge 5 times, a sixth will be ignored. But you can’t use (for example) 2 Acc/Dam enhancements from the same unique set in the same toon. So you would use a combination of all 6 divided, up however you please, in multiple powers. In this case Uun is recommending you split the six up into 2 sets of three in two different powers in order to get the +10 recharge twice.
  6. Genuine question, is the Global channel across all servers? That may be the better option.
  7. Depends on your build. If I’m running a highly procced build that uses 2 Acc/Dam HOs, I use musculature to get me to Damage ED. Otherwise I tend to look for recharge to get my attacks up faster via Agility Alpha. Play with mid’s and see what the actual damage difference is. If you are already hitting ED for damage before musculature you might be adding 20-30 damage at most on your hardest hitting attacks. You might find that recharge gets you to a smoother attack chain with better DPS.
  8. So I tried this on a Brute with Regen and it's not terrible, I built it to play more like a scrapper though hence no Taunt. Getting 72.39hp/s regen passively without Dull Pain (No tricky empowerment buffs or temp powers, just big 4 Accolades) With Dull Pain (which is perma of course) getting 106.54 You could even squeeze out a little more if you play with it some, but I'm happy with how it sits. When I add in Instant Healing, Hybrid Melee, or Rebirth Destiny the numbers get very silly, and at least one of those is always up. RegenBruteForumShare.mbd
  9. I am not opposed to discussing changes like this, but as others have said, what are your goals with this change, and what are the benefits/consequences you perceive would come from this?
  10. You need to be completely leveled up before respeccing or the respec will fail, this is working as intended. As far as your enhancements, log out and back in and they should return.
  11. If I were a Dev within the first 5 minutes I would delete Sister Solaris from the ITF, or at least the need to take her to the altar. Statues would soon be erected in my honor, and national media outlets would pick up the story touting me as a national treasure and true hero. Then I would pass on my Dev duties (after having them for all of 10 minutes) to the next generation, and continue playing ITFs, unhindered by Sister Solaris’ terrible AI.
  12. Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but just in case. https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Sg_music_(Slash_Command)
  13. I have pondered this idea before as maybe a new incarnate tier giving you some extra enhancement slots, have had many builds where 1 or 2 slots would have made a huge difference. It probably doesn't provide enough room for variety, though, as any other part of the incarnate tier would likely pail in comparison to extra enhancement slots.
  14. Doesn’t punish, just lets you know privately that you did not enjoy teaming with this person last time. They will never know that you 1 starred them. I bet I haven’t 1 starred even 10 players and that’s only if they were totally rude, obnoxious, or hateful. On the inverse I have probably 100 people 5 starred, because it helps me recognize players that I enjoy teaming with and makes the game a little more personal when you can say “Hey, @globalname remember that TF that we really kicked butt on?”
  15. I do not disagree with your stance on this as I said in an earlier reply. The inverse is equally as frustrating when someone lvl 50 with all incarnates and fully kitted IOs doesn’t know how to get to Cimerora and holds up the starting of an ITF. My problem is with the negative connotation implied by your original proposal. Make assumptions all you want about players when you run into these situations, but they could just as easily have played the game “The right way™” but are new and still learning. Being kind to players learning the game takes very little extra effort and ensures we maintain a healthy sized community. If you run into the player you described, again, 1 star them and move on.
  16. That is probably the most wrong take I have ever seen. There is absolutely nothing “minimal effort” about badging. It has taken me years to get to 1600+ badges on one toon, and I still don’t have them all! The most challenging content in the game awards badges. I still don’t have “Master of” for all of the iTrials, because they are difficult, require extreme teamwork, and a certain style of play. The pushback, is because OP’s first post described a badge that comes off as “Play my way! The right way!™ You naughty hooligans”
  17. Welcome Home!
  18. Now this I could get behind, even if it were just a badge and no accolade power (Or maybe just an accolade power that is active during Advanced Mode TFs). However, the only possible problem is that we hope the devs have plans for more Advanced Mode TFs in the future, so it's kind of unfair to newcomers to have to do 8 TFs in the future rather than the 3 we have now to receive the badge. This was one of my biggest gripes with the changes to "Master of" badges was that the difficulty in attaining the badges significantly increased for those who did not already have them when they restricted incarnate powers. I'm sure we could find an elegant way to add something like this while taking into consideration future plans though. Side Note: I really want an Advanced Mode Ms. Lib and Lord Recluse
  19. They aren’t being denied TF Commander, they just have not performed the requisite tasks, and can complete those tasks at any time. We understand that you aren’t happy with the state of AE, power leveling, and its impact on the game. I agree it’s not a good way for new comers to learn the game. This game has a lot to offer on the way to lvl 50. But just because someone chooses to play this way doesn’t mean they aren’t a valued member of this community. Negatively connotated and impunitive badges like this are not good for the game. If you don’t like the way someone plays the game, 1-star them, don’t team with them, and move on. But you might find yourself soloing everything quicker than you think.
  20. As much as I am always happy to hear an idea for a new badge, denying players a reward because they choose to play THEIR game a certain way is never going to be received well.
  21. Purely based on DeBuff values alone, I would say a Poison Defender is #1 and it’s not even close. However, the AoE of poison is very small and requires multiple recasts to ensure you have hit all of the major targets, and then hitting another target nearby to make sure you have stacked the small and large debuff. It also requires you to be in melee to be most effective. Been running a lot of KM ITF with the same group of people and our clear speeds are consistently faster with a poison.
  22. I put Musculature Radial in the build I posted, that will give a little boost to damage, to-hit debuffs, and increase endurance recovery. For the rest it's dealers choice really.
