Tanker/Warshade/Peacebringer so much suck that they tie.

Sentinel just seems so bland the middle of the road blah.

I change this, rolled a Bio/SS tanker and I'm currently bulldozing the sh*t out of mishes.

The new patch really helped tanks out and the 100% increase to dmg is really noticeable.

    WS/PB and Sentinel still suck...

  2. I typically run a broot/tank and the missus does support. Heck anything would help, /emp or /pain great heals/buffs, /cold or /therm for the shields plus debuffs, /kin for rech/end recovery +dmg boost, /rad for AM and great debuffs, etc.

Support is great but dont count yourself out if a fight a good sonic/kin can be lethal, or a Ill/cold troller is a AV/GM killer, find a toon that will not only help the meat shield but fill the holes on the other toons weakness.

Apologies, but that is slightly silly. I took rage very late in my build and it was fun either way. The rage crash, contrary to the reception that it does something akin to deleting system32 file, is not much of an issue, it's just a facet of the game. In fact, my inv/ss tank doesn't even notice it

My wife said the same thing, she has a SS/WP broot and just bulldozes along. Mine is more I probably wouldn't be affected by it I just want it fixed tantrum lol.

No they aren't.  They read a patch note that said they were nerfed and now they're convincing themselves they can tell.

She didn't know anything about it until she started complaining that something was off and me and another sgmate brought it up.

I'll check when I get home and see what's up on my broot.

Wondering if its noticeable on my fire farm which I run solo.

EDIT: Back to the topic at hand though. Nerf nerfherding threads, they're rarely constructive and almost always end up exploding and getting locked and/or nuked from orbit.

    Thank you.

I prefer to call them the "I don't like it so it has to be changed" whine.

  6. Everlasting redside definitely.  Me and the wife play exclusively on red, some of our sgmates are on 75% red.

I saw regular calls for DFB in Mercy and papers in Gville yesterday.

Face it blue side might be more popular but  evil will always triumph because good is dumb

  7. My VG used to have base raids back on live, and it was a blast. We would battle with VG's in our coalition.

It was fun and a good way to build good relations with other folks.

Too bad most people who dont pvp hate it because they take it personally.

I am by no means a pvper but I loved the base raids.

This thread should be closed.  The OP posted the same thing back on December 4 under a different (but similar) forum handle.  They are not going to accept any facts or arguments.  They are either trolling or not intelligent enough to understand what is going on.

    THIS THIS THIS and THIS

Well, back when thermal first came out, it didn't have AoE buffs, it had single target shields that had to be cast over and over on everyone you wanted to buff, making them AoE was a QoL improvement. As for why they don't effect the caster, my understanding is balance concerns. Making some buff classes that durable that early would tip the scales pretty far in their favor.

It would be no different buffing another "less durable" teammate. The less durable teammates would still benefit and the caster would still be at a loss.

That is a balance issue, because, other teammates are better off and the caster is at a disadvantage.

If anything melee toons would be the true benefactors of the buffs because of their def or res, once again tipping the scales in their favor.

Still not seeing how its beneficial for the caster to not reap the benefits of their buffs.
