You can use the combat analyzer temp power for that, I don't think that's something Herostats ever tracked.

Thanks Mac I'll have to try it out, Googling it is rather vague on what it can do.

  2. Me and my SG used to have base raids, zone, and duels on live pre-I13. I would try builds not the usual fare, SS/FA broot, Bots/FF MM, etc when everyone was on Fire Nrg Blasters and Stalkers. I got my ass handed to me but it was fun, because, I was with my friends.

I think if people had friends to go with or be taught by it would go along way.

PLUS, you can't take losing personally, I've seen so many people get pissed that they lose and they never attempt it again and then hate on it forever.

There is alot that needs to happen for pvp to be accepted and balanced, having specific "rules" during events is ok but, its a band aid.

PVE, PVP, and the game mechanics need to change before its going to be appealing to everyone.

  3. Wasn't this the program that watched numbers in game for debuff numbers and other functions?

Its been awhile and cannot remember.

Is it obsolete or has it been replaced? I want to see data on what my debuffs are doing against GM/AV. Is there a way?

  4. I cannot stand farming just repetitive and boring.

So I dual box and afk farm, I'm renovating my house and pop in the office probably every 10 minutes to reset. I think I could probably lvl a toon to 50 in 4 hrs doing it this way and a couple hrs more to unlock all the Incarnate stuff.

Never thought of it as competitive so never tried going fast. I do know that when I have cleared a map on my rad/fire broot it was a couple minutes, not bad I guess.

But, trying to do it competitive to 50? No way I get bored quick, kudos to you for having that patience.

  5. My necro/storm has D&D names, Vecna, Kas, Soth, etc.

My new demon/cold will be along the same lines Mammon, Orcus, etc.

My Mercs/FF is from Predators, Royce, Stans, Edwin, etc.

Its whatever I'm in the mood for, my Thugs/Psn on live was childhood friends. My original bots/ff was different Droid names from Star Wars.

Nobody mentioned this, but back on live my cousin played a Necro/storm to very good success. It's hard to quantify in numbers the syngery between the hurricane repelling foes while the zombies melee them. Steamy mist does a good job of protecting zombies to fire, one of the damage types that zombies are susceptible to. If the foes can't stand up they can't attack

I have a zombie/storm now and it is chaos. Hurricane, tornado, storm, and freezing rain.

Undead running around everything slotted for debuff and dmg.

    My favorite mm so far.

  7. I'm at work so cannot invest the time into like I want.

    So my suggestions.

Magnetism (blasters, corr, fender, troller, sent, dom)

Super Speed melee set (scrapper, stalker)

    Insect control (MM)

    Dinosaur Control (MM)

Metal/Wood Armor (tank, broot, scrapper, stalker)

Universal ie micro meteor, gravity, asteroid strike, solar flare, etc (blaster, corr, fender, sent)

I’m away from my computer for my Mids build, but this is the basic chassis for any Necro mastermind I construct.

    Tier 1

Overwhelming Force proc in zombies; Max Accuracy and damage; good place for 4-set Superior Command of the Mastermind (for 10% recharge).

    Tier 2

Achilles Heel -res, 2 piece Superior Mark of Supremacy (10% recharge); Shield Breaker of Lady Grey proc; Soulbound Allegiance proc; Max damage remainder.

    Tier 3

Again, 2 piece Superior Mark of Supremacy (10% recharge); Cloud Senses proc (triggered by almost all attacks; an HO to buff controls along with  accuracy or damage based on need; aim for at least ~60% accuracy (rely on Supremacy and tactics for remainder, or if talking about Storm, freezing rain). The damage is pretty pathetic - relatively - for the Lich. The proc helps.

For soul extraction, final 2 piece Superior Mark of Supremacy (10% recharge) and remainder of protective unique IOs.

For Necro/Storm, your pets serve as bodyguard fodder during the times the chaos is less severe. Storm will be the heavy lifting on damage. Usually, global recharge is the focus to get more lightning storms, freezing rain patches, and tornadoes out. Grave Knights will be useful for surgically targeting hard targets for focus damage. @Frosticus has a viscous demon/storm build somewhere on the forums. Definitely search that up for more ideas.

For APP/patrons, either fire for bonfire (with proc) or Mu for a targeted AOE immobilize.

    Have fun!

Got the rech, S/L, and some end management. I also based it on my playstyle. With Incarnate T4 it soars of course.

    Have fun!

Perfect thank you so very much.

  10. So I know they get a bad rap, but, I enjoy the necro set.

Yeah, they are mindless and f!cked up an LRSF or two, at least in my experience.

    But, I like them.

So my question is how does everyone typically slot them?

Is there powers that I should skip? I have it paired with /storm because honestly hurricanes, tornados, and lightning storms PLUS zombies seems like chaos and my oh my i love me some chaos.

So let me know, your experience, advice, whatever, I'm open and ready to hear it.

  11. I would strongly suggest starting on something more forgiving.

Bots/FF is a good safe bet for beginner mm's, also learn the macros to help you command the pets to your liking.

There are plenty of guides on how to bind, macro, and slash commands to help a mm.

Trust me if you start out on something that requires a lot of time and upkeep you will quickly hate the AT.

Switch the sets in Warmth and Cauterize, then move the Numina's proc to Warmth. You can figure you'll use Warmth at least every 2 minutes, so you'll always have the proc active, and this way you get the 3.75% Ranged Defense bonus from that set.

This frees you to slot Terrify with 5 Positron's and a damage proc, getting way more damage out of it and still end up a bit ahead on Ranged Defense. This assumes you're going to use Barrier to soft-cap... if you're going with Clarion, then keeping Terrify with the set that gives Ranged Defense and making the above change will put you at the soft-cap for Ranged Defense.

Alternately you could put Frozen Blast in Terrify and get a large boost to AoE defense.

Thanks I'll try the different options you pointed out and go from there.

Appreciate you taking the time to look.

  13. Hiya, I remember back on live Mind Fryer Trollers used to be pretty awesome in pve and pvp. I used to have all my old builds on my pc which got fried by lightening so decided to make a new one. Any advice is of course appreciated.
