Praetoria *
The missions are interesting and challenging. It is great having new villains to fight and new maps. But I could not figure out how to start a character in Praetoria until I got help on the forums, so I'm giving Praetoria one star.
Marauder *
It was a good introduction to Praetoria and the power group. The missions were nearby and short but fun. But I had to pick roses in one of the missions. I once gave a girl roses and she broke up with me, so I'm giving Marauder one star.

I want powersets to be on a sliding scale of doing several things.
Blaster powersets should basically all do the same damage. But they can do single target damage, aoe damage, control, and debuff. So powersets should have a mix of these.
It would be fine for blaster powersets to have 5 powers that were essentially the same for all sets - single target attacks of different power but with a different secondary effect. Then the other 4 powers provide the real customization. AoE, control, or whatever.
You could have a set with 4 control powers, 4 aoe powers, a mix, etc. So you can pick a set that has the balance that you want.

That is a world event problem.
I love the world events in GW2, but they have event chains. And in some cases people need events to fail for a badge or they want events to fail because it leads to more events. So you end up with people arguing over whether to succeed or fail.

Unfortunately for all of Paragon City's citizens, Action Ken's clothes were not embiggened by the same magic bolt.
That's a perfectly cromulent backstory

I go to the Icon in Atlas (only have 4 villians... I think it's 4) and set-up the other costumes that I already have planned out. Usually an IB (innocent bystander) and maybe a couple of other variations or "form" changes (変身!) - Might have to go to the Pocket D and visit the costume person there if I want to have size or gender changes in the mix.at night. I love the night.
In Icon in Atlas the tailor at the back does size and gender changes

Most of my characters make it to the low 40s and I get bored with them and start a new one. The post lv 40 isnt as fun to me.
Do you miss the content? I've never liked the high level game but am sad that I don't get to see the shadow shard and Dark Astoria because it the game is just too boring at those levels.

It is standard to think of people farming their way through CoX, or DFB and powerleveling to 50. But yesterday I ran into a player who was playing every variation of controllers, he was working his way through every powerset combination in the game.
I create characters for levels 13, 19, 23, 29, and 34 and stop their XP at those levels. I only play on low level teams and I choose a character at the right level. And I play on the lowest level team doing missions that I can find. If I can choose between a Hollows team and a Talos team I choose the Hollows team.

Okay, so walking trees and rocks in Croatoa is normal
-
A week or two ago I joined a Croatoa team. We had to hunt the group that look like trees before they turn into mobs. A few times I found a group of the trees and then they turned into DE. I thought it odd at the time but didn't consider that it might be a bug.
Anyone else had DE show up in Croatoa? Is that supposed to happen?

Of course, we'd probably not think to be yelling out "green polkadot" either.
Sure, polkadot is green, blue is a paw print, orange is side table, and red is pail

Is there a chat channel for regular players who want to team sometimes?
We could have our own secret world within the world of other players.

I've joined most of them. I have Freakshow Recruiter, Skull Girlfriend, Outcast Recruiter, and many more. If you see a low level character that is part of a villain group it is probably me.

Normal arc fighting skulls.
Then you become a villain and beat up BAB? WTF?Why is that mission there?

That's something...is there an existing list of quality and level-appropriate AE arcs for supplementing the largely garbage heroside old school arcs?
I was going to work on a list for that but got side tracked.
I did create 2 arcs for levels 1-9. Snakes from the Isles 41022 and Infection from the Isles 40195
The content is better than the names. Suggestions for better names gladly taken.
Both are heroic arcs but one is with Snakes and one with Infected so you can face different foes than you normally blue side.

I rarely solo, I play for the teaming. But this past week I have been soloing a stalker.
I got to level 5, turned off XP and did all of the blue side level 5 content. Then leveled to 10, turned off XP, did the content. I am currently at level 15 and there is a ton of content.
But I just grabbed all of the contacts and am doing whatever mission is convenient. So I am not getting any stories out of it. It works well for just having stuff do to at hand, but I feel I am missing out on the stories.
So when you are leveling and doing content, are you doing it for stories, just fighting through missions, or what?

They are called Porters, nothing says they will shoot at you.

Sorcerers teleport and heal and are annoying in a good way. The first Tsoo to target, but their teleporting makes them hard to take out.
After fight Tsoo my team fought sky raiders. The Porters teleport around but no one seems to care about them. They don't seem to do anything special except teleport.
Is there something I am missing with Porters? Is there a way to make there teleporting more meaningful?

Rain just started in Seattle, so I can't do long walks anymore. I am trying to do 10 minute basic exercise routines from youtube during my work breaks now that I work from home.

As a note, the lost cure does not break stealth for a stalker. So you can just take out the lost while safely hidden.

I also have a temporary power a contact gave me to use against clockwork. I don't think it is as impressive but I'm saving it for the Synapse TF.

I already had the badge, so I don't know

The Lost AV in DFB can be cured by the lost curing wand from Montague.
The curing wand made dfb a lot easier, taking out a boss each spawn.

Just play on teams lvl 35 and below. The godmode players rarely play at those levels, so the difficulty can be turned up until people cannot solo it.
The best teams are still the teens in their teens. A Hollows, KR, or Faultline team is the best teaming in the game.

Congrats on braving the star. It never goes badly when I do it, so I don't know why I avoid it so strongly.
