  1. The Internet can be screwy? With a lot of people stuck at home, there's going to be temporary issues with lag and disconnects. Most of these issues clear up in 30-60 minutes if it's outside of "prime time" (6pm-12am Eastern Time). You can also visit the Server Status page when the issues occur, which will tell you if your server of choice is under strain or if everything is okay and the lag/disconnects are another kind of connection issue.
  2. I don't have to be right all the time. I hope it keeps working for you. 🙂 I'd still recommend getting a replacement system someday. (Head to First Ward/Night Ward, that tends to make frame rates drop a bit if you want to see if the system can handle most areas well.) Do Re-Verify first. Less effort before a reinstallation.
  3. Your forum login will let you reset the password. Go to the Game Account Center.
  4. Yeah, it should be there. The other thing to check (which would indicate a different issue with your system) is Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Event Viewer > Windows Logs. You can check Application or System around the time the crash happened for any clues. Warning and Error messages are helpful.
  5. You can reply to us using the Support system directly after creating a ticket. There's no need to hop off the forums at all. Tariq, check your Tequila installation for a "Crash" folder. If there are files inside, those logs can be sent to us in a Support ticket and we can help you further.
  6. Will it run? Yes. If you follow AVT's advice above. "Will it run well?" is another problem. My experience concerning the Latitude E1500 line is significant. At my prior job we ended sending a LOT of those laptops to eWaste from frequent power and motherboard failures. They have not aged very well over the years, and we did that in 2014. Dell had to play a lot of catch-up in the 2000's concerning build quality, and that laptop wasn't helping their cause. You are welcome to give it a shot, but if I was in your shoes and there's no other way to get in, I'd get it working then I'd go about finding a different machine. If it does play the game, it won't last for very long. Don't expect to lead entire leagues or play smoothly on MSRs.
  7. Please don't make personal attacks on the forums. Replying to them will result in your comments being removed along with their content, too. This isn't about who is right or wrong. If you don't want to join a group, or you'd rather not recruit someone in your group for whatever reason, you don't need to comment, just move on. Thanks.
  8. There's been reports of users in Southeast Asia having a hard time to connect to the service. Otherwise, yeah, if the forums aren't loading, they're hosted at the same location as the main servers in Canada. If Reunion will load, you might have problems connecting to us at the moment.
  9. Tequila requires .NET Framework 3.5 to work. It's not needed by the Game Client. The Game Client needs Visual C++ Runtimes to work. It's not needed by Tequila. Realistically, you'll need both to patch and play the game. Open this guide, and scroll to "Prerequisites". Both links are there to download.
  10. Yup, I see that now. I'm glad it's finally working. Installing the game in a Documents folder, or any other folder under the Users directory ends up with problems. It's part of Windows security model to disallow apps from running in there. Sorry I missed that.
  11. Saw the video. Nothing appears to be downloading. There's been reports of manifest issues with some people. Open options and try using the Beta Manifest by entering https://manifest.cohhc.gg/testing.xml as an address, see if that makes a difference. (You don't need to use the Beta client particularly, the manifest loads all of the clients.)
  12. If it's a laptop with dual graphics, NVidia Control Panel should let you toggle which one you use for what app. If it's a desktop, however, the screen may be tied to a particular card. (If the monitor you want to play the game on is plugged into on board video and not the NVidia card, it's going to use the Intel chipset no matter what.)
  13. I wish I had a Mac in front of me, I'd love to tinker with it on an older one and get back to you. I'm glad WanderingAries reached out, you're in good hands.
  14. You know how many times I've done that myself? 😄 No worries.
  15. Did you equip the power into the Incarnate Panel? Check that the Alpha Slot is filled on the panel. If you're referring to the Judgement Slot, there's no Level or Incarnate Shift conferred on T3/T4 Judgement. You'd need to slot Lore or Destiny to gain Incarnate Shifts (which only work on iTrials and Dark Astoria vs. the Alpha Slot Level Shift, which works on any Level 50 content.)
  16. So run the older one. The same link has the pre-Sierra build of Island Rum.
  17. The patcher needs to run again to update the files. Let it finish and try launching again.
  18. We ended support of Safe Mode eight days ago. If you were running the game in Safe Mode, does it start in 32-bit? I don't know much about how Island Rum works (I don't have a Mac, but I have used them before in prior jobs) but I do know Yosemite (OS X 10.10) is quite old. Island Rum testing is done on Sierra forward. There's three installers for Island Rum as of now for Mac: Catalina - 64 bit only client, signed. Oldest Mac system that will run Catalina manufactured in 2012. Sierra through Mojave - For Macs sold in the 2010s that don't/won't run Catalina. (Macs made from 2010-2012, or if you don't want to take the leap). El Capitan and older - For Macs made before 2010. The easiest (but time consuming and possibly something that would stop older apps from working) would be upgrading to Sierra or better if you can. If your system can't do the upgrade, or you're holding off for other reasons (both are valid reasons why not), best advice at this point would be help from other Mac users who play the game using the old Mac client and asking them for tips. Choake's guide in this thread would be a good start if you want to try a fresh install.
  19. For Tequila, no. The game has to launch in the first place for a crash report to happen. Did you check any antivirus apps on your system? Make sure they exclude the Tequila folder from scanning.
  20. You can check the Server Status page to see if the servers are down or not. Our weekly maintenance happens on Tuesdays, when it does, you'll see a red banner in the forums (the times are in UTC, not your local timezone.) https://forums.homecomingservers.com/status/
  21. Sounds like you guys need to take this into Private Messaging. No need for warnings, but this isn't going to be productive to discuss further here. Topic locked.
  22. (Reading the yellow highlight above...) That won't work. The other files coded to the Safe Mode client won't work on the new client executable at all. PhysXcooking64.dll is a different issue, the shim fix isn't going to address that file. The file IS a part of the manifests in Tequila, so re-validating the game may return the file back to where it belongs.
  23. Mmm-hmm. Not the exact same topic but definitely related. Feel free to chime in there.
  24. Windows Updates: have you restarted since they finished? .NET apps tend to do weird stuff until the updated libraries are in memory. Does a reboot clear it up?
