Just a thank you to everyone who reports the spam postings we get. Without a heads up from players we might not notice them for a lot longer. If you see anything that could be spam please don't hesitate to report it. While we do have active moderation, we aren't about all the time and a report from someone can really help nip it in the bud before it becomes a problem. There is so much to do as you level and a lot of fun stuff designed for the level range it's meant for. I love Freaklympics and the Vahzilok Plague. I love the Laura Lockheart stuff. The Hollows arcs and Faultline arcs are both fun and explain some of the early lore. Everything can be done via Ouroboros if you missed it, but you are limited to the maximum level of the particular story and you lose powers that are above the level range. If you don't have IO's or attuned enhancement sets you also lose the benefit from them. As far as I'm aware (and someone will take great delight in telling me if I'm wrong) the IO's and SO's scale to the level of the mission too. Where we differ to other games is that there isn't one storyline that goes all the way through the game, and there isn't a vast amount to do once you hit the level cap. There is level 50 content, and getting your incarnate abilities to maximum is always fun, but sooner rather than later all you have left is some trials and raids.

I'm going to try that next. I didn't want to do anything until the dev I managed to speak to it has finished looking into it. I thought it best to make a bug report as well so the other devs can take a look

Well that was weird. Decided to try Ashling Corlett via Ouroboros and can't enter the first mission. I get the hour glass when I click to enter then it decides I'm not worthy and won't let me in. See? Even GM's have bugs affect them 🙂 I tried logging off and logging back in, tried zoning and using mission transporter. Nothing worked.

I bought some bitter spray guaranteed to stop dogs chewing things or your money back. My puppy thought it was the best thing ever and doubled down on the chewing then barked at me when he'd chewed it all off to put some more on. I got my money back 🙂

Nobody on the HC team will care either. Clever bio, great costume, fun name. Inspired by is allowed if it's changed up enough. I'd say it's homage rather than parody, but either way it's not even slightly against the CoC.

PPL rights are very convoluted and seem very short sighted sometimes. At least with cosplay the rights holders understand the love for the characters and the free advertising they are getting. And you can multitask better than me. I can barely concentrate on not dying, I can't watch TV and do laundry too 😛

I understand the temptation to create your favourite characters in game. The costume creator is so versatile you can get a picture perfect copy if you want to. Some characters are really basic. Due to the limitations and time constraints of comics originally a lot of the older characters are very simple and are basically a body suit with detailing. We allow parody and homage. Change it up, move the colours round. make a pun name. I have Super-Duper Man. Body suit, pants on the outside, S on the chest, cape. But the colours are different to supes, He's blonde with a floppy fringe and a goofy smile. "Inspired by" is perfectly acceptable. As always, if you feel you have been generic'd in error you have a right of appeal. Pop a ticket in with your reasons as to why you think we were mistaken. It will be passed to the leads to adjudicate. Sometimes people have been successful. But if you have Deadpool and it looks like Deadpool and has a bio that screams Deadpool then don't expect a favourable result 😛

True, but it's not obvious. The kheldian one is basically rescuing the next chief Kheldian host from the Council. Lots of council caves and plenty of opportunity to get stuck in scenery.

It takes as long as it takes. If you have been playing a while and want to PL an alt to 50 then you can do it in a few hours . If you are a new player then don't do that. You won't have the roughly half a billion+ inf to make a decent level 50 character. Add to that, this isn't WoW or Diablo. The game doesn't start at level cap and give you lots of fun stuff to do. Half a dozen trials, half a dozen contacts, a few task forces. This game predates the modern idea of race to level cap. It's older than WoW and is designed round the idea that the game is the game. That's why there is no storyline to complete. It's a game of side stories with lots of lore but no through story. For other players who've been at it a while, it depends on how they play. Solo play enjoying the stories takes longer than 8 person teams where you never stop to breath. Those can be fun but also confusing as you just follow behind hitting powers and hoping 🙂 And my best time? I went from level 1 to vet 27 in two or three Mapserver events 🙂

It's a choice. If I'm solo then I'll KB as much as I like and enjoy bouncing people around the map. If I'm teaming I try not to. Playing something with important melee skills like a warshade or tank/brute it can be deadly to gather everything up then just as hit the button to do what you are going to do the other players knock them aways and you get nothing. Fold space/ shadow slip are amazing, but no good if someone decides it's boom time and my delicious dinner the enemies are nowhere to be seen.
