  1. Welcome home 🙂 Coffee machine is over there, French pastries are on the table (help yourself) and we have a special offer on Kheldian tadpoles, just pop one in your ear to find out more 🙂
  2. I must say I'm confused. I've never heard of aprocalypse until this thread.
  3. Hi everyone, just a quick update. All characters should now be fixed, and Reunion should be sorted too as a module hadn't loaded properly in the restart. Cipher kicked it and it is all good now.
  4. Are you using your forum name and password or your game ones? The two are very different things. If you haven't already create a game account here https://forums.homecomingservers.com/gameaccount/ or user it to check your username and change your password
  5. Hi guys, as you can see, thanks to your reports we've found a problem which is in the process of being fixed. Hence the emergency server downtime. Thanks for your reports, and we can only apologise and thank you for your patience while we fix this issue
  6. For people who are losing binds for no reason, are you using the launcher or Tequila? We don't support Tequila any more and the launcher saves bind files differently to Tequila so when you are in a zone or an instant they work fine, but with Tequila as soon as you leave the instance or rezone they set back to defaults.
  7. All it needs is "Coming To Disney+ December 2024" 😛
  8. Here are the builds for my PB and WS. Both are post 50 builds. Light of the World - Peacebringer (Luminous Blast - Luminous Aura)final.mbdwar bandit final.mbd The PB is pretty simple to play, it has such a high recharge rate that light form is permanent. plus lots of KB to KD so it's not irritating the crap out of the team tank by spreading their carefully herded mobs across the landscape 🙂 I tend to mostly play as Nova, swapping to Dwarf when I'm feeling a bit vulnerable. The WS is my main though. Teleport into the mob in dwarf and take the alpha strike, go human and cast shadow slip, eclipse and mire and any other soul sucking powers you like as needed, dwarf, mire again, human and Quasar, then dwarf to mop up the stragglers. If you die then stygian return as long as there is at least one enemy in range. With the slotting I have it's got a nice fast recharge and is an excellent rez power. PB's tend to be quite self sufficient as they don't need a large number of enemies round them to be powerful. WS are the opposite. The more enemies you can leech off the more powerful you become. The two mires are classed as separate powers so stack with each other. I'd say the PB holds the edge for power in a one to one confrontation, but the WS shines in teams or higher difficulty settings. That's not to say the WS is considerably weaker than a PB, I can tank an EB with my dwarf quite happily. Like every post 50 build I couldn't tell you how much it cost. I've done endless respecs and swapped the enhancements to try to make them better. It's expensive, but no more expensive than any other AT build.
  9. Plus looking at the enhancements it can take there is nothing to say it takes a taunt enhancement
  10. Would people be interested in me making a thread for those who wish to, to post their builds? I know there are builds dotted about all over the place but they slide down and get lost. I can pin the thread so it always stays at the top, plus people can post and edit if they change their build after constructive criticism from other players. There is of course no obligation to post, and rude and unpleasant replies will be removed, but for the most part I've noticed players tend to be very kind and helpful.
  11. I couldn't say if it's a bug or not. I lean towards intentional as a bug implies it should have it but it's not working. It's never had it as far as I know and certainly doesn't have it now.
  12. I have to agree. I'll farm occasionally and always open the farm to other players, and sometimes have to threaten to coat the kheld in batter and deep fry them if they don't stop "helping". I'm herding all the enemies into nice tight bunch then Mister unslotted squid comes along and scatters them to the four winds just before my nuke goes off. Or my AoE. It's so annoying 🙂
  13. I generally take Ageless/ incan and pyronic/ion as a set of tier 4 choices, as I'll run leagues occasionally in events like Halloween and Mapserver. Lores I've tried most of them at some point, and while there are great ones like BP and lousy ones like Tsoo I generally go with the smaller ones like Polar Lights (which is rather good) or Knives of Vengeance which have some nice debuffs. Talons is good too. The appeal of having a huge robot or monstrous entity wears off when you can't see or get through doors because the pet is in the way 🙂 I suppose it depends on your play style. For someone who only plays one character and has the "gotta have them all" thing going on then it can be a goal you set yourself. For someone like me I swap between characters and have no firm favourite. Just what I fancy playing today. So trying to get every incarnate ability would be as frustrating as trying to get all the badges. For you it's a fun goal, for me it's a painful experience 😉
  14. I was told there would be no maths!!
  15. locking necro thread
  16. yep, click the little cog wheel, click homecoming settings, click reset graphics on next run.
  17. you fibber!! 😛
  18. I've killed a lot of GM's, especially before they patched out Scrapyard. Not one recipe drop. I also haven't had a single purple recipe drop in weeks either. Same base chance (I think). The RNG hates us all.
  19. So far this thread has been fun, and respectful. As long as it stays that way I'm happy. From my own personal point of view (I'm an utterly non religious person with zero faith who believes once we die that's it and we're gone) I am happy others have a faith even if I don't share it. As long as those who have a faith accept others don't, or have a different faith to them which is equally valid; and those with no faith are respectful and kind to those who do have a faith even if they don't share it, the world would be a lovely place and we'd all get on 🙂 As for playing characters with a religious theme, that's been a thing since games started. Kids in playgrounds have always role played. Cowboys and Indians* was a thing when I was a kid, as was Angels and Demons. And aliens and spacemen. Which eventually bled into tabletop games then computer games. Humans are fascinated with the divine and the profane. TV shows, books YouTube shorts, movies. Everywhere you look you are not far away from some religious skit/spoof/drama. *I know, I'm almost 60 and things have changed since I was 10 😛
  20. I love my flytrap!! No fluffy, give the man his leg back!! Bad flytrap.... sorry about that. he's very playful 🙂
  21. My undead mastermind tapped into the Zig teleporter. Enemies are diverted to his lab and the healthy specimens are recycled as new undead minions, the rest are sold to Dr Vahzilok to get cash to pay the rather exorbitant power bill, and the non human and vegetable enemies are turned into compost. It's very eco friendly and as a hero he has a moral objection to digging up the bodies of noble Paragon citizens.
  22. Laucianna has a plan to convert the entire GM team to Kheldians. I was her first victim convert
  23. Thanks guys, it looks like it might be situational bias. We don't notice when something works, we just notice the times it doesn't.
  24. It's not a stupid suggestion. Sometimes even a basic change like you suggest makes for a very different playstyle and slotting. So many powers have a KB to KD proc that could be used for something else. I'm somewhat lost at the high end conversation myself, I can get behind a sensible suggestion I understand 🙂
