I have to agree with you on McFadyen and Corrin. They both did excellent jobs fleshing out the characters and not being boring ciphers. Zawe Ashton in the Marvels was kind of there, and chewed the scenery as required, but had no great screen presence. I was watching an interview with Corrin and she was very involved in creating the character, and she and the director both decided her portrayal was wrong so they went back and came up with the much more understated version we eventually got. Her first thought was an over the top, scenery chewing maniac, but dialled it so far back she was a lot more scary with her gentle manner and soft voice. She came across as someone so powerful and confident she didn't need to bluster or threaten. showed she could have ended both protagonists with no effort, but they amused and entertained her. They were never a threat. "Boys are so silly".

It was a shock to the system for all of us. I logged on to my favourite meteor map I used for relaxation and died almost instantly. I was so used to just standing there and soaking up the damage like a god it was quite humbling to realise I was now just a squishy 🙂

Not too sure but I think the crafting table is just an interface. The table has a timer to summon the window but once you have the window open it's open until you close it. That way if you are doing a lot of crafting you don't have it close till you finish

The launcher has all the changes built in, Tequila and Sweet Tea don't. Binds often don't save for instance as they are now saved in a different way. It's why we don't support third party launchers any more and will stop providing a manifest at some point. Due to operational reasons and code changes it becomes harder and harder to keep compatibility

HVAS is useful on Hami raids when you want to take Hami down fast in a hamigeddon, and MSR where they last all through the riad unless they die. A Hamigeddon (if you don't know) is where you ignore the Mito's and go straight for Hami. Tanks taunt the Mito's and the league slaps the jelly till it explodes. Most times it's done before the EoE runs out. You can get 4 or 5 hami slaps done in about half an hour.

Saw it a couple of days ago and absolutely loved it. Was the plot pretty basic? Of course. Was it a lot of fan service? Oui mon cher. Emma Corrin was adorable and actually had character development. I hope we see her again. If you know the comics then you know her fate in the movie is a minor inconvenience. As for the rest, I wasn't expecting it to be so brutal. The opening sequence made my jaw drop and it only got better from there. I had a lot of "I can't believe they went there" moments. All in all I'd recommend it if you enjoyed the first two. And after watching some shocked YouTube videos. . I know Deadpool is fun for kids. But this is not a kids movie. Don't take little Johnny and Chantelle. not unless you want to accelerate their education in adult vocabulary 😛

Long shot, but open the launcher and click the three dots under Homecoming and then settings. Click the tick box marked reset graphics on next run

Yep, ideally there would be a different purple set to pick from but as of now I don't think it's a high priority.

The problem is (as I found out) sometimes Windows can be as dumb as a box of rocks and chooses the onboard chip and not the video card/chip. I have Nvidia on my laptop and it kept using OpenGL so I had to change the setting in the control panel to make it use the Nvidia all the time. The game isn't compatible with OpenGL and doesn't work well with it at all. Any reasonable graphics card or chip will work fine, it's persuading Windows to actually use it that's the tricky part.

Right click on the desktop, click show more options and open the Nvidia control panel. Make sure you are set for this under the open GL setting which should override the auto setting

Have you double checked it's white listed in your firewall and antivirus? I had a problem where mine deleted the exe file thinking it was naughty. Was fine once I slapped it with a spiked mace and told it to allow it through

was it a different account? I can't find any trace in our history and the only one on your account is Nurse Rona. Which you correctly assumed was because of coronavirus. There were a plethora of alts with a variation of that and it was deemed insensitive with the number of people suffering from it. I myself spent 3 weeks in hospital being pumped full of drugs on an oxygen machine until my body finally cleared it. For some of us it wasn't a happy time.

I agree. We have many characters in lore that have complicated backgrounds. Blue Steel, Scirocco, Ghost Widow, Manticore. Some did bad things and became hero's to make up for their mistakes, others are freedom fighters who have done awful things they felt justified in doing even though they regret them. As for real life individuals, the game isn't really deep enough to do much nuance. It's very much Bam! Pow! Kablooie! in the best possible way. I think people are overthinking it. Have fun, write your stories, use your history to add flavour and depth, but ultimately you'll get the people who enjoy reading the text and dialogue, and you'll get people who'll just want to wander about thumping people. Be respectful to the truth of the individual, but don't feel too tied to the history. There are many untold stories of the worlds villains and hero's. Napoleon wasn't short, he was average height. Hitler liked cats. Catherine the great died after having a stroke while on the toilet, not crushed to death in the embrace of her horse. Countess Bathory never actually bathed in the blood of virgins (though she was a vile woman who committed the most atrocious crimes). Stories are told and not all of them are true. They might be in your AE arc though 🙂
