Or making Ouro the new "base/travel hub" with portals to all the zones. It keeps the number of loading screens to the same Zone - Ouro - Zone and as the Ouro portal power can be disabled as and when needed, there probably won't be a way to exploit this. This will also cut down the need for other powers (Base teleporter or LRTP) which clutters and overwhelms newbies with options.

That is not an accurate comparison. This whole travel situation is about player convenience. A accurate comparison would be for example, removing capes/auras and forcing every player character to go through the missions. Or regressing the whole incarnate system back to what it was on Live (eg. removing Emp Merits and Threads every vet levels). I would say that a poll for the player base would be less tone deaf than maybe comparing the use of the base command as "cheating"

Mind Control needs some alternate FX. While I think the spirals work well for some character concepts, I think some new alternate FX might be much more interesting. For example, some of the Fx from the Awakened or the MoM trial could be reused. Thoughts? 😀

I have been playing around with the Icon Tailor and using the NPC costume pieces here and there. I was wondering if allowing us to use those pieces on Live servers would be easy as simply flagging them as usable. Granted that some costume pieces don’t belong in the right slots, e.g Mender shoulderpads showing up in the belt slots, I think it would still be much more beneficial to allow us to create whatever we want regardless of clipping.

Hello fellow Dom enthusiasts, I’m thinking of running a Mind/Dark dominator for a character concept which would have been Illusion instead but one can only dream. While I’m sure of how Mind Control works, is there anything i should look out for in Dark Assault? Should I play more at range or melee? any advice would be much appreciated 😁😁😁

Everything is “toxic” nowadays. Ask why an Empathy Defender has the whole Medicine pool and no Clear Mind/Fortitude? Toxic. Ask someone to watch their KB? Toxic. The list goes on. -
How do you fit a character that is of a different genre into mainstream roleplay in Everlasting for example? I'm not talking about obvious parodies or extremely impossible origins/backstories/powers etc but characters that are superheroes that have different aesthetics and backstories that might stand out from the typical invulnerability/super strength tight-wearing tank. Do you face judgement or exclusion from RP if a character doesn't fit into the typical superhero mold?

Well, two days ago, I parked my toon in Pocket D while I alt-tabbed to Youtube. Another thing that annoys me is when people "ERP" in public, I'm not kinkshaming or anything but can you at least find a secluded spot or something? One of them was swapping to costumes of increasing nudity right beside me.

What are some of your pet peeves when it comes to roleplaying? Pet peeves that make you /em eyeroll. Keep in mind, this is a thread in jest, it's not that serious. One pet peeve of mine is when people text in 3 or 4 single sentences rapidly in chat as if they're texting. For example, sentence 1: "Cool.", sentence 2: "I don't like wearing pants.", sentence 3: "random quirky fluff". Let me get a word in omg.

Alternate Animations: Stone Melee/Earth Assault Is it possible to have non-mallet versions of Stone Mallet, Heavy Mallet etc? Instead of the hammers, maybe an alternate animations from Super Strength and using the VFX of stone covering the fists i.e. Seismic Slam. Not too sure if it will affect animation times and all those technical stuff but it would sure look great on characters that don't use a mallet. -

>What would you like to see changed? Can we get waist capes for male widows? The default Widow VEAT costume looks really empty without a waist cape.
