Thanks for the help, folks! Here's what I ended up going with, a mix between old school and high tech.
-
I am usually not one to ask for help when it comes to costume (I tend to work my way around costume-related issues quite easily), but I've been stuck on a particularly frustrating case and I really need some assistance! I've got a Beam Rifle/Traps corruptor planned but I can't for the life of me find a suitable outfit (and name) for the guy. I basically want to make an engineer-type hero, resourceful and prepared. Inspirations range from the Engineer from TF2, Isaac from Dead Space, George Clooney's character from Tomorrowland and the Ghostbusters in general. Not sure if I want armor or spandex just yet, but I'm not looking for something too "high tech" (the guy's a tinkerer). Hope I'm not asking too much, but I'll gladly take any help/ideas I can get!

Celestial gun model for Assault Rifle/Beam Rifle!

A pretty straightforward request, but one that I noticed only recently. Given the "flashback" nature of the Ouroboros system, it makes perfect sense for players to only be able to interact with any SA's designated contact. However, the Ouroboros system is great for retrieving old accomplishment or exploit badges, for instance, especially for badge-obsessed players or completists. Only problem is, some of the more recent story arcs grant specific badges that are only available if the player gets to talk to former contacts. For instance, Vincent Ross's arc gives players the opportunity to get access to several sub objectives if they regularly check in with either Lorenz Ansaldo, Vince Dubrowski or Diviner Maros, which grants the "Connected" badge before the arc's penultimate mission. Problem is, were a player wish to gain the badge through Ourobors, they wouldn't be able to call up those specific contacts. I personally ran into this problem recently while running Mr. G's arc on Primal Earth, when I forgot to call Dean McArthur before the mission with the Carnival of Shadows where, if you call him beforehand, he shows up as a hostage that you have to save, which grants the "Honorary Bro" badge (which is, in itself, a hilarious badge as well). As such, could there be a way to allow players to call up old contacts while in Flashback mode?

@Jono265 Both of these look great, but I love Thunduress, she looks like a mix between Storm and Static Shock, which makes her an absolute stunner!

Send me a PM at @VirtualGreen in-game, man, we'll set this up!

Upcoming Weekly Discussion Power Set Poll - Vote!
Virtual Green replied to GM Miss's topic in General Discussion
Might be in the minority, but if we could show Assault Rifle some love, that'd be great! -

Probably the main reason I do the Faultline arcs on most of my toons, this map (and mission) is juste badass!

@Dreamboat Sovereign Serpent looks fantastic! Genius idea to use the Warrior boots and gloves as snake scales too, wish I'd though of it!

Ahah, why not, man, could be fun! Gotta move my guy to Excel then, he's a Reunionite at heart. 😉 Here's the updated version of his costume, as well!

Yeah, the mask and some color choices are probably getting changed soon, I'll post a picture of future drafts! He's got the /drinktea emote on macro, obviously!

Got inspired by the Costume Request thread to make a British hero, so let me introduce the Dawn Patrol's resident swordman, the London Lion !

@Farmer_Daddy Welcome back to the fold, then! Great concept as well!

@TrashBasher Truly one of the most unique concept and design I've yet to see in the game. Well done!

Recently remade my FBSA operative, Reaper, as an Arachnos Soldier (he was an AR/Dev blaster before), so I took the opportunity to modify his outfit a bit! (including a singular tech glove, woo!) (not pictured : Vanguard backpack)

My first attempt at a classic "flying brick" (and my first ever Tank, too!) : the Immovable ! (mostly inspired by the glove pattern)

Arachnos Soldier : More weapon customization?
Virtual Green replied to Virtual Green's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Agreed to both of these suggestions (which even make sense, lore-wise!). I just wish I could have my AS bayonet an enemy with a Council Rifle, a Tommygun or one of the Mercenary models! -
Arachnos Soldier : More weapon customization?
Virtual Green posted a topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Quite a simple (and not that difficult to implement, I assume) suggestion, which I don't think has been brought up before : would it be possible for the Arachnos Soldier to have access to the Assault Rifle gun models? Given that the AS already has access to the Celestial, Steampunk and Mecha rifle models, I wonder why the Soldier couldn't use the plethora of weaponry already available to any AR blaster/corruptor/defender. More importantly, it'd give Huntsman players some much needed variety in terms of costume customization. Thanks in advance! -
Dual Pistols would probably fit the America theme you're going for, plus their animations are flashy and dramatic, it would fit the whole fireworks thing! As for the costume itself (which is great!), might I suggest adding the Triton face mask in the same blue as her chest? It would link the whole thing quite nicely, I think (while still leaving her face rather visible).

So if I assume correctly, he's got Skullls' mask and lower body, Clockwork left arm and back, aaaand some sort of Oranbegan crystal on his right arm?

What happens when a down-on-his-luck metal singer gets betrayed and sacrificed by his Hellion bandmates only to become an actual demon, able to yield hellfire and to turn the traitors into demonic servants? Become a superheroic rockstar, of course! Introducing Hellbanger ! ("Hero" costume still open to modifications)

Blasters : AR/Ninja Training Animation Bug
Virtual Green replied to Virtual Green's topic in Bug Reports
Upon further testing, I believe this bug occurs whenever AR is paired with a weapon-based secondary (Tactical Arrow, Ninja Training and even Mace Mastery), and it can't be removed afterwards.. -
These all look great, @biostem! I especially love the use of color on Orchid.
