Thanks, AA! He does indeed, but in all fairness, it's quite difficult to create a skull-masked soldier type character (who's on the side of the angels, in this case) that doesn't evoke good ol' Crossbones, unfortunately. 😄

Finally made a "classic" (read: spandex) outfit for my main guy Reaper, pretty glad with how it turned out, especially the chest combo! (mixing tights and tactical gear is hard!)
-
@Jawbreaker Love both of those! Concept-wise, they remind me of Hellboy's Johann Kraus from The Golden Army.
-
@RikOz Great costume! But I feel your pain regarding that Arakis mission.. I dread it every time I have to do it.
-
I'd go with black if I were you, then. 😉 It helps break the red pattern a bit, which is always welcome in such costumes, IMHO!
-
@Carandiru I'd go with either yellow or black for the sash!
-
I second that. Maybe update your original one by adding the Kheldian sash?
-
Cooked up some additional/alternate outfits for Mr. Mechanic : "Heavy Duty" (with obligatory BFG), "Steampunk" and "Obvious Reference"!

@Lyris Welcome to the best part of the forum! Doc Umbra looks fantastic, the purple and gold combo truly never disappoints, although I am also curious as to what her powers are (Dark/something?). E.M.Press (great name, took me a few minutes to catch all the wordplays) is great as well, and I'd avise you to try out Robotics/Electrical Affinity, it's quite a fun combo!

So I've been using this fantastic build on my current Bane!Huntsman, so first of all, thank you, Red, it's an absolute blast to play (and I haven't even reached 50 yet). That being said, before I get to the endgame, I just want to ask : what kind of Incarnate ability would you say is best suited for this build? (I'm not a great judge of those things, so I prefer referring to you on that)

@Galaxy Brain Never saw Cryosite before, he looks pretty cool (pun intended)!

Weekly Discussion 49: Alternate FX/Animations.

+1 to Minimal FX to everything that can (and should) have it. But more importantly, and if it's relevant at all... No redraw options for VEATs. Pretty please? -
Dean is a gold-mine of good quotes, or even better, stage directions. "You and Dean share an intense high-five together."

@Jawbreaker Love the white and gold outfit on Lightwave! You should stick to that color scheme, IMHO. @Sparrows Desecration (great name, by the way!) looks absolutely terrifying, I love that IDF helmet/jawbone/devil horns combo you cooked up for the muzzle!

A #CostumeCreatorProblem if there ever was one! 😛

Ahah, thanks (I love that movie)! I went for a Ghostbuster/TF2 Engineer vibe, but it took forever to find a name, though.

Send us to Hazard Zones again

+1! I always thought it was a missed opportunity to not make Boomtown the 5th Column's own Striga, I was pretty disappointed to find out the base established there belonged to the Council. Let us punch Nazis more openly, devs! -
Thanks for the help, folks! Here's what I ended up going with, a mix between old school and high tech.

I am usually not one to ask for help when it comes to costume (I tend to work my way around costume-related issues quite easily), but I've been stuck on a particularly frustrating case and I really need some assistance! I've got a Beam Rifle/Traps corruptor planned but I can't for the life of me find a suitable outfit (and name) for the guy. I basically want to make an engineer-type hero, resourceful and prepared. Inspirations range from the Engineer from TF2, Isaac from Dead Space, George Clooney's character from Tomorrowland and the Ghostbusters in general. Not sure if I want armor or spandex just yet, but I'm not looking for something too "high tech" (the guy's a tinkerer). Hope I'm not asking too much, but I'll gladly take any help/ideas I can get!

Celestial gun model for Assault Rifle/Beam Rifle!

A pretty straightforward request, but one that I noticed only recently. Given the "flashback" nature of the Ouroboros system, it makes perfect sense for players to only be able to interact with any SA's designated contact. However, the Ouroboros system is great for retrieving old accomplishment or exploit badges, for instance, especially for badge-obsessed players or completists. Only problem is, some of the more recent story arcs grant specific badges that are only available if the player gets to talk to former contacts. For instance, Vincent Ross's arc gives players the opportunity to get access to several sub objectives if they regularly check in with either Lorenz Ansaldo, Vince Dubrowski or Diviner Maros, which grants the "Connected" badge before the arc's penultimate mission. Problem is, were a player wish to gain the badge through Ourobors, they wouldn't be able to call up those specific contacts. I personally ran into this problem recently while running Mr. G's arc on Primal Earth, when I forgot to call Dean McArthur before the mission with the Carnival of Shadows where, if you call him beforehand, he shows up as a hostage that you have to save, which grants the "Honorary Bro" badge (which is, in itself, a hilarious badge as well). As such, could there be a way to allow players to call up old contacts while in Flashback mode?

@Jono265 Both of these look great, but I love Thunduress, she looks like a mix between Storm and Static Shock, which makes her an absolute stunner!
