  1. Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead, but as a fairly recent spider soldier (Bane division, no less), a redraw option would make a drastic change to the gameplay, and a major improvement to boot! (plus I doubt it'd be that hard to implement compared to other suggestions)

  3. Been trying to come with a satisfying costume for my Mandalorian-inspired renegade Bane Spider, the Outspider (pun intended). Still torn between full mask and showing his mouth, any thoughts? (Note : his crimson shoulder cape uses the CoV DVD edition cape with the Arachnos logo blacked out, to indicate his desertion!)

  5. Introducing the Cobalt Bullet (DP/Kin), a Malta superspy specialized in metahuman takedown, thanks to a combination of Gunslinger pistols and custom Sapper gauntlets.
  6. Ran this arc with my Column hunter a month ago, using mostly intel from the wiki... and I was pretty surprised when I found he was not just a mere boss-level enemy, but an Elite Boss. (as opposed to what is mentioned on the wiki) Quite a welcome (if brutal) and rewarding surprise!

  8. Not a big request IMHO, but I'd really like for us to have access to some NPC costume parts that are partially based on already existing costume pieces : Longbow leg holsters, Hero Corps chest harness... Same thing in terms of weapon models.

Recently revamped one of my oldest toons (back when he was only a Corruptor on live), the wisecracking Bowslinger, in both his starter and final costumes, as well as his Wyvern outfit (he's supposed to have been one of their operatives but left due to moral differences). Credits to an archer I ran across on Everlasting for the chest detail + Freedom Corps chest pattern combo!
  11. Bought it during Steam's last year Winter Sale, a friend had convinced me to try it out. Fun little game, basically Starship Troopers but in videogame format! @Christopher Robin Those are such good ideas! I'll think about them once I'm off work. Thanks CR!

  13. That's some Dio level pun right there, I love it! Hadn't thought about using latin, that could work! In regards to the clipping issue with the hood and the eye detail, it bothered me as well, but I'm a fan of the "blind seer" archetype, and I thought it'd fit this character (after all, who needs sight when you've spent decades in the abyss and you can use darkness to "see"?), hence why I didn't change it. That's a good suggestion, thanks, Red!
  14. No problem on my end! Trying to come up with a nemesis for my previously posted aquatic hero, came up with a neat concept. Basically the amphibian equivalent to a satanic priest, who uses dark atlantean magic to confuse and control "heretics", and whose goal is to bring back ancient deities from the depths (his powers are meant to evoke Lovecraftian colors). Still stuck on a fitting name, though, if you guys have any ideas? (best I could come up with was "Voice of the Deep")
  15. @Drakwatch I did indeed! I had been wanting to do a cop character for a while (to use that sweet, sweet PPD armor design), but upon watching Watchmen, I immediately fell in love with the "masked cop" design the series had going for it.

  17. One of my favorite (if a real end-hog) characters to play is the PPD-sponsored masked hero, Hardlaw (in both his hero outfit and PPD customized Hardshell).
  18. Aloha, folks! Small-time lurker here, but long-time costume design lover! So many great ones on this thread, so I thought I'd add my share. The Rune Ranger, my main guy, former commander of the Rune Soldiers from First Ward and local rifle-slinging wastelander. (BR/Energy) Codename Reaper (tried to go with just Reaper, but for obvious reasons, already taken), former black ops, now an FBSA special agent and Vanguard shock commando. (AR/Devices) (Pictured below : standard outfit, endgame exoskeleton and customized Vanguard armor) Bloodburn, former resistance fighter and Nazi experiment from Axis Earth, now a revengeful vigilante hunting 5th Columnists. (Fire/WP) A more classical hero in the form of the Sleek Typhoon, last Atlantean and warrior of the waves. (Water/WP) Powerjuice, a cross between Bane and Flash Thompson, or what happens when the athlete son of a renowned geneticist drinks a mix of Fixadyne and Superdyne. (SS/Bio) (Apologies for the huge pictures!)

  20. Works like a charm, thank you! Looking at your build (which looks great, thank you so much), I do have a few questions, out of curiosity : - Why is Single Shot slotted with only a singular Set bonus? - Build-wise, I get the use of Stealth, but I'm not certain it'd fit concept-wise for the character, so would removing it be a loss in terms of performance? Other than that, most of the build makes perfect sense to me!
  21. I use Mids Reborn V2.6.0.7! I usually have no problem importing other builds.
  22. I do play my character at range! My Range Boost is pretty much permanent, and I usually make good use of those ridiculous single target attacks (and that satisfying nuke). I did take melee attacks in my current build, but mostly because they are extremely powerful (Total Focus usually oneshots minions and Bone Smasher is my go-to melee attack when an enemy gets too close for comfort). That being said, I agree that I could let go of those in favor of additional defense, if needed. (I can't seem to open your file, though...)
  23. As a returning player with little to no experience/understanding in setbuilding, percentages and the likes, I have come here to ask for your help, great builders and masters of procs! My main blaster recently reached Incarnate level, and I'm looking for ways to improve his performances (which are already satisfactory, IMHO). He's a Beam Rîfle/Energy/Force Mastery blaster, with Super Jump as his travel power, and especially good single target damage (I solo most EBs/AVs on a regular basis). He's been running on basic IOs so far, but having never quite grasped the intricacies of IO sets (even when the game was live), I've come to you guys for advice/help building a functional build for this guy. Also regarding Incarnates, what would be the best choices for this rifleman? I'm only on Alpha level at the moment, but I was thinking about taking Musculature and/or Agility. What would be best for this guy? Thanks in advance for your help, and my apologies if I ask too much!
