@Player2 Breed's first costume reminds me of the Ani-Men's! Love the concept. Decided to rework my current Beam Rifleman as a more sci-fi oriented hero and as a clear hommage to pulp heroes like Buck Rogers. Introducing... Sam Saturn, space adventurer and ladies man ! Speaking of space, I'd been meaning to make a Green Lantern-inspired Peacebringer for a while, and having finally snatched the name Starfighter, here's what I came up with!

@Mystic Fortune A sleek speedster! What's hit AT?

Looks like a blue, mystic version of the Clockwork King, very nice!

A substantial ammount of my characters tend to come from military backgrounds, whether they be real (army, counter-intelligence, etc) or from the in-game lore (FBSA, Wyvern, a lot of Malta, etc), but as a whole I just enjoy playing human/"powerless" characters. I've always like characters without superpowers having to fight / work alongside metahumans in comics (think Batman, Hawkeye, Green Arrow, etc), as it tends to highlight the human element of the stories, and I always respected how these sort of characters had to push themselves harder to compensate their lack of special abilites. My other thing is making my characters lore-related, usually part of an in-game organization or a former member. Mostly because I like to RP certain contact choices while playing games (a vigilante from Axis America always looking for a chance to fight the 5th Column, for instance), but also because the game has such a complex and interesting lore that I like to find clever ways to tie my toons to it.

Managed to grab the name Grimfist, so I figured I'd finally make a Praetorian streetfighting vigilante counterpart to my FBSA skull-masked operative, Reaper. Totally not inspired by a famous urban, black-clad crimefighter, of course. (Street/Ninjitsu stalker)

That's the Barbarian Skirt, if I'm not mistaken!

Reunion!

Pretty satisfied with my latest Rad/Rad sentinel.. A disgruntled Terra Volta engineer who sold out the reactor to the Sky Raiders only to get himself trapped with the core when a superhero intervened. Now a walking nuclear generator, he turned his life to crime to pay for his containment gear and to get revenge on the hero community, deeming them responsible for what happened to him. (can't find a good name for him, unfortunately!)

So as I was scrolling through my endless list of costumes, I noticed that I've got an anormal ammount of lore-related concepts that have never seen the light of day.. So I figured I'd share them! The Automator, a Nemesis general whose brain got transferred into a rapier-wielding killing machine. The Ascended, leader of the Ascendants and the Center's personal bodyguard and chief of security. Crystal Kill, a Circle of Thorns "mad scientist", obsessed with discovering and using the powers of Oranbegan crystals. Deadraiser, an ambitious Skull who stumbled upon an ancient artifact called the "Charon Engine", allowing him to summon the dead to do his bidding. Equinox, a young and overly-mutated Outcast, cursed with the mastery of both fire and ice, trying to escape his life of crime. Hell Dusk, a treacherous gang-banger whose goal is to unite the Hellions and the Skulls under one banner.. his. (He would have been a Demon/Dark MM) The Made Man, a Family Don with a very peculiar skin condition, making him practically invincible. The Void Butcher, a Void Hunter mercenary who enjoys stalking and preying on Kheldians. Finally, here's a Mu wizard costume I came up but haven't found any concept or name for it yet. Apologies for the long post!

@PoitVok Love Hungerstone and Mandrake!

Had to update my Arbalist's hardware at some point : he's now able to go airborne for travelling, and if firefights get too hot. Also designed a more bulky armor for AV/GM-fighting, with an appropriately-sized gun, to boot.
-
These are all awesome, Gastly! Serpent Kiss is very sleek, and well done on grabbing the name Warning Shot.
-
It isn't! But I also found that another name for a crossbowman is "arbalist", which I like the sound of, so I might use that!
-
Introducing this guy (whose name I haven't figured out yet, so anyhelp in that regard would be appreciated!), basically what'd happen if the ARC Troopers from Star Wars: The Clone Wars were part of Longbow (the Crossbow division?).
-
@Player2 Okay, I am both in love and absolutely jealous of The First. Simple yet so efficient! Congrats!
-
I'm glad you like it! As for the hands, I use the Bare Hands texture, but I agree that they do seem a bit more shiny than usual.. Might be because of the pitch black skin color. I might switch to another option, as it has been bugging me as well, ahah. Thanks for the input, MC!

@Mystic_Cross He looks appropriately other-wordly, good job on making all these different pieces fit so well! Here's Detective Dusk (Dark/Invul Stalker), a 1950s PPD officer who got caught in a Circle of Thorns ritual and ended up merging with the Netherworld, effectively making him a living, ageless shadow. A litteral "noir" character.

Reminds me of a character concept I had for an Ill controller, Luminex!

I might just have to FINALLY create an Illu controller if these go through!

Hand-Mounted Assault and Beam Rifle Animations
Virtual Green replied to That Ninja's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Major +1 to everything that's been said in this thread. One more suggestion I'd make : have the Beam Rifle stance and animations be available for Assault Rifle. I get that the devs wanted to emulate movie action heroes when designing AR, but it makes little sense for my trained soldier to fire his rifle at the hip, IMHO. At least, give us the option to choose between both stances! -
Add a "no redraw" option to Arachnos Soldier powers
Virtual Green replied to Telth1's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead, but as a fairly recent spider soldier (Bane division, no less), a redraw option would make a drastic change to the gameplay, and a major improvement to boot! (plus I doubt it'd be that hard to implement compared to other suggestions) -
That is such an awesome idea for a project! Do you plan on doing more? If so, looking forward to it!
