And you don't feel like you are reading a bit much into your "role" here. Some of us just want to have and enjoy the game the way we want. Granted its your prerogative to NOT give out the thing. But it seems like a giant overreach of arrogance to think its your job to teach everyone something. Can you not see this? So someday if you feel like its your job to teach people WHAT AT to play? How to use the powers "best". Heck ....it might be your job to teach us WHAT game to play. What if I/we learn best by picking apart the original material? You don't TEACH someone math by saying "just put numbers on the page, Ill tell you were you went wrong." It sounds to me like you are just trying to justify your decisions and behaviors by "elevating" yourself to revered mentor status. Personally, I help others frequently any way I can and any way the ask because it helps us both enjoy the game. You however...well.... You might get a bit more respect to just say "I prefer not to share builds because I don't want others to have builds as good as mine". As for the build, no thanks. If I really need it....there are plenty of players willing to share.

Your post is wonderful and detailed....but I didn't see how to fix my issue. I have no trouble importing the old style "paragraph of letters and numbers in brackets". It is the newer style I can't figure out. NOW a'days, when I open a build...it is a VERY long string of words and symbols. I can NOT figure out how to get THAT build to work in MIDs. Others are doing this every day. There is some step I am missing. Some way to convert or import that info. If anyone could help or tell me who to ask I would be grateful. Saddly I don't have much tech savvy and I don't use discord....

Looking for a little help using MIDs hero builder. I do not have/use discord so I can't seem to reach the right people. Ever since MIDs changed a while back from the old style "data chunk" that looked like a PARAGRAPH in brackets...to the newer looonnnng string that looks like gibberish...I have NOT been able to figure out HOW to import/read the builds. I love stone armor. Would love to see the build in full (I can't get these darn things to open) and would love to see Warshades version without granite. I'v never NOT taken Granite on a stoney but would love to see if I could consider it.

Are you farming vs FIRE? If so...this is easy to answer. Your def/resist aren't capped vs FIRE.

I am now running (I think) latest updated version of MIDS v3.7.4 DBversion 2024.5.759 and I need a bit of help. I can get it to run older builds in the old style data chunk no issues. But new builds seem to be this much longer page of data. How do I get THAT, I guess newer, version of data imported into MIDS? Any help would be much appreciated. Kapt Krock

This is someone else's build I tweaked for my own taste. Its a monster out of Granite and I play out most of the time, using granite as "the games BEST OH SHIT BUTTON". I would suggest taking the 3rd slot out of hasten for use somewhere else. This one runs pretty solid IN and OUT of granite. No ranged attack. End recovery is an issue, but I solve that by visiting P2W and turning off all insp except blue and red.
