  2. You cant get invis without investing in a power before it, stealth + a movement stealth IO is a superior choice really, invis served no purpose so this is a minor attraction change. Field Operative gives +rec and +regen for no endurance cost, its one of the best powers in the game, it needs no buffs.
  3. Its 2 sets of buff, 20% (always) and 60% on first attack into combat start giving a total of 80% at best case scenario. All in all they are some solid changes that need to be tested in "real world" applications on live.
  4. Savage Assault Spot Prey: This power now grants +68% damage buff and +17 Tohit. Before: +42.5% damage buff and +42.5 ToHit. No longer grants a perception buff. In terms of the loss of a perception buff, why? It was completely thematic and not remotely OP.
  5. Earth Assault Tremor: Cast time reduced from 3.30 to 2.50 seconds. - This now has no sound effects at all from start to end or on hit, either in 64 bit client or 32 bit. Hurl and Stone spears which had also been sped up DO have SFX attached to them.
  6. Power Boost is now Power Up. (90s recharge, +34% damage, +75% str to other effects for 10 seconds.) - 34 is a terrible number, Im sure thats what some math formula said is right but at least round it up to 35......

  8. If you select to fight 8 clones it TELLS you that you should have a group.

It isnt, it will be a setting somewhere in the code, just requires someone to find it, it effects all weapons that use those models including ninja blade, katana, ninja training and ninja tool mastery so its literally all of them using those models so it will be whatever is flagged for those models into those powersets. Other weapon sets are unaffected, mace, axe, staff, what have you.

  13. Its underwhelming and could use something, the fancy "gunkata" animations doesnt mesh with the firmly "meh" damage output.
  14. This place is often virtually unplayable due to it being so packed with people, I dont know what zone cap you have on it but it needs cutting by a third and more zones generating, its a terrible thing to face when being new and really annoying when trying to do anything in the zone.
  15. How nice of the Tank to invite us lesser mortals along for the ride. Honestly it's this kind of thinking that makes me dislike the tank 'n herd 'n AoE playstyle. On live I spent most of my time on redside and since we had no dedicated tanks and no /Empathy this holy trinity stuff never came up... and the teams were better for it. I did see it rear its ugly head from time to time on blueside, but we're not running dungeons in WoW here and there's very little content in this game that requires a tank. The problem for tanks isn't uncontrolled knockback. The problem with tanks is that they are not a must-have in 99% of the game. Personally I'd rather run solo or on a less optimal team than run with a tank who expects my warshade (or blaster) to behave as nothing more than a mobile gun turret to augment his XP per second. Its not necessarily a tank/herd/aoe situation, many defensive sets survivability rely on those mobs being in melee range to them and having them tossed across the map is a detriment, same with many buffs/debuffs, you may not like it but thats a real point, KB heavy classes can just slot a KB to KD IO now which is a much more valued and useful form. If you dont want to do KD instead of KB then people are just as entitled to not want you scattering the mobs. Full disclosure, I dont care what people do, I only group for TFs and Trials I usually run off and do my own things in TFs to speed it along and test myself but I can still understand why some people dont like KB heavy classes.

They are still a clunky design, an epic class in concept that never really lived up to the problems placed in their way (quants/voids/crystals) which were brutal for the longest time, probably on the back of Jacks idiot "dying over and over and over is the fun part" mantra. the VEATs were completely different, less ambitious, more accessible and brought benefits to the team as opposed to fusterclucking pita mob types into the mix. This mess created a genetic memory that some will find hard to let go. Now the voids/quants/crystals are a reduced threat but the class is still pretty clunky with too many powers and not enough slots to make best use of them (even with IOs and boosters) but unforgivably in my book, the human form ws/pb STILL lack mez protection which ruins a good proportion of the class (IMO) TLDR, doesnt really matter if people bring a PB/WS or not anymore.

  19. In addition to https://forums.homecomingservers.com/index.php/topic,3654.msg26153.html#msg26153, this ability also doesnt follow its own guideline for the increased damage. It says you can deal the increased damage every 30 seconds (assuming you are able to get out of combat and hidden) this is not the case. It takes 30 seconds from the end of combat before the damage boost will be applied. Example - You attack from Shinobi, you gave 50% damage increase, you fight for a minute and then go back into stealth, you SHOULD as a matter of course have the damage boost as soon as you stealth as its been much longer than 30 seconds between stealth hits. What actually happens is You attack from Shinobi, you gave 50% damage increase, you fight for a minute and then go back into stealth and wait for another 20 seconds to get the damage boost back. This renders the ability somewhat lacking given its a unique way to give build up to the powerset yet for all intents and purposes it requires you to do NOTHING for 30 seconds before getting your damage boost back.
  20. My recovery increases with particle shielding (with no end mod enhance in it) My recovery went from 3.70% to 4.53% with no endurance modifications in it as per combat attributes. Ground zero gains more damage with damage enhancements in it. Edit, tested particle shielding with end mod, they do literally nothing. OPs point is verified.
  21. Its that entire weapon set across all ATs, including katana, ninja blade, ninja training, ninja tool mastery. Other weapon sets are not effected it seems.
  22. its technically a npc only armour set, its not formatted to work in conjunction with other player armor peices which would lead to significant issues with clipping and other problems depending on how troll a player wanted to be. Instead of reworking the sets to be functional as player armour instead what they did was give a "npc" slot to SOA which was kind of a lazy hack but you know, resource allocation and all that.
  23. Gamma boost values CHANGES depending on your HEALTH. The less health you have the more regen you get, the more health you have the more recovery you have.
