  1. @Groovy_Ghoul, Thanks for posting your build. I recently leveled my new alt to 50 and used a variant of your build, substituting the multiple Titanium Coating for Aegis. So far I haven't felt the loss of the additional Mez Resist. I also substituted Super Jump for Super Speed as the character is rabbit themed. The biggest difference is putting purple/very rare sets in TK Blow, Mass Lev and Aura of Madness, and the rest of the Panacea set into PK Barrier. Without Super Speed I still have great run speed with the 3x7.5% movement speed from the Aegis sets, solid jumping with Combat Jump and can bring up Super Jump if needed. Celerity +Stealth does stack with Hide, taking my stealth radius from 150 ft to 180 ft. My Recharge is just over 101% which brings PK Barrier recharge to 21sec allowing it to be perma. I also dipped into the Teleport pool to get Teleport Target so I can stealth to objectives and bring my teammates to my location. By and large I find I can stay in the middle of a mob with a tank or brute and not have issues with survivability. I did go with a second slot in Stamina just because I hate seeing my endurance below half. Let me know if you have any critiques or suggestions, thanks! *edit for typo # **Backwoods Bunny/ah - Hero Stalker** ### *Build plan made with Mids Reborn v3.7.14 rev. 3* ---- - **Primary powerset: Psionic Melee** - 2. I'll mention two of my favorites Radgen Radiation Emission / Electrical Blast / Mace Mastery Defender Torchbearer Server Background So yeah, he made a career of the Navy; nuclear electronic tech, tours on submarines and aircraft carriers, Enlisted Surface Warfare Expert and has the Dolphins too. Big woop. Spent years defending Uncle Sam against the big Red Bear and nothing really happened. Well nothing that anyone can talk about. Anyway after he retired and came to work at the TV reactor, he was on shift when a group of Freaks invaded the reactor complex. It had happened before but this time the 'heros' weren't up to the challenge and the Freaks didn't know what they thought they knew. Jack had to shut down the reactor without the security protocols in place. Good for the city, back for Jack...severe radiation poisoning resulting in the loss of both arms and, oddly enough, after the emergency meds, the ability to emit radiation. Crey Corp stepped up with some cyber arms but they wanted more in return than he was willing to do. He's been evading their attempts to 'recover their investment' ever since. Misc - A recreation of my first 50 from Live. I'd played support chars in EQ and DAOC and thought this would be a good team player. But man, getting to 50 was a LONG slog. Fun, but long. Backwoods Bastage Battle Axe / Willpower / Energy Mastery Brute Excelsior Server Background Maynard Simpkins was just an irascible coot that only came to town a couple times a year, buying supplies to keep his still running. He saw that the corn meal had some mold on it but he used it anyway. Turns out the batch of 'shine he made with it magnified his strength of will. He wouldn't have hardly noticed but when the revenuers came to break up his still he managed to send them running with just an old hatchet. They came back with Longbow to catch him and they put him in the Zig. The doc's there said his special 'shine would kill him, something about cardio exercise or something, but he broke out before they could do more experiments on him. And now he's looking to get revenge on the Longbow and any so called heros that get in his way. Misc - A new creation based on a beer variant made by a brewing company I like. I usually end up roleplaying him whether I intend to or not, usually introducing himself with: "Hmmph, a buncha city folk, gods, devils, aliens and other ne'er do wells I suppose...well, I guess I can say hello anyways just don't expect any of my special 'shine."
  3. And Universal damage enhancements...ONLY attuned.
  4. @BlackSpectre, it's in the Incarnate Window where you Equip, Create and/or Convert your incarnate goodies. For a cost you can Sidegrade Downgrade (if it's above common) Or Breakdown into threads. Happy Incarnating!
  5. You feel the game's gotten too predictable for you? Add some variability by forming or joining Pick Up Groups (PUGs)! Meet new and exciting challenges with people who might be experienced or might be unused to teaming, might have uber solid builds or might 6-slot brawl or even a dedicated healzor! Find people who stick to it when the going gets rough and some who rage quit if they have to go to the hospital! I understand the appeal for soloing much of the content of the game. But when you do that, you get the predictability you're saying you don't want. But you don't need to change the game, just change how you play it.
  6. This has been around a while @High_Beam, not a new thing.
  7. Yeah, the obsolete or invalid parts notification is a Lock symbol rather than a shield...but in taking this screen shot I see that I have both the invalid and the shield on different costumes, neither of which are currently being worn. I'd love to hear the explanation for this if it can be found.
  8. I have to agree with @Uun that @Oklahoman is an excellent ITrial and Raid leader. I'll add a few general recommendations, however. In addition to just having your chat window open (and watching for the leader's instructions), you might want to add the REQUEST channel to your League tab. Some league leaders use this channel so the information shows up in a different color and can be easily recognized. Also, when participating in an instanced Trial or Raid, always check to see which team you've ended up being on. The system has been known to jumble up the teams in the process. And always, ALWAYS, check after the beam up (and cut-scene) to see if you've gotten the league star and pass it back to the organizer of the event.
  9. I'm usually on Excelsior and 'Here' can definitely be an issue. There are times when there are swarms of Kronos Titans and not everyone who is hunting/defeating them is on a team or league. If one of those broadcasts 'Kronos here!' then there's little if any way to actually find the player unless you happen to be close. I or one of the others will usually then broadcast or PM information on using '$loc' so others can actually find the Titan. This can happen in Skyway also when a Babbage spawns and the extra people available to help defeat are not teamed/leagued.
  10. I've enjoyed seeing the MS events in the Praetorian zones...probably the most traffic they've gotten on most shards in, well, ever.
  11. I DO like using them in Swift, especially for Kheldians so it boosts dwarf teleport, squid fly and whatever human movement I'm using.
  12. I'm kinda like @Snarky (I'll take 'Things I never thought I'd say for $100, Alex!) in that I don't do a lot of farming. When I start an alt with powersets I've already used, I'll farm them up (alt farming account, main leveling account) so I can get them useful proc IO's before sending them out into the city. Most often I'd use the Angelbot Meteor Map (51289) or the Comicon Asteroid (2915) missions. They can be a bit dangerous for sitters because the mobs do wander and you have to remember to hit the glowie before going afk or you'll get timed/kicked out but they're good xp and drops, IMHO. I've joined some SG/Coalition farming teams and a popular one seems to be a Carnie map (47308) as the mobs don't wander about like the asteroid and meteor maps.
  13. The escalated quickly...but are you ready for CATmageddon?!?
  14. I've played a Warshade on live and got started using bind files to manage the form changes and setting the active tray for the powers appropriate to that form. I took a look at my Black Dwarf Step and Shadow Step binds and realized something odd. CTRL+LBUTTON "powexec_name Black Dwarf Step" SHIFT+LBUTTON "powexec_name Shadow Step" LeftDoubleClick "powexec_location target Black Dwarf Step$$powexec_location target Shadow Step" I changed my bind file and found the first and second binds will NOT work for both/either form if I try to combine both teleport powers. The odd thing that the third bind DOES work for either/both forms. I don't have an answer for why the one works but the others don't but if you find one please let us know. @tidge I may have to appropriate your BACK and Mystic Flight binds for some of my alts!
  15. I have to agree with @arcane, this is about the most entertaining post I've seen since Snarky gave up on telling us about his PUG antics. Carry on @BigBam!
