Beta Client Closes to desktop at random times no error messages..after the first it did it I kept using it to see if it was that client and well happen 4 times within 2 hours switch back to old option no issues.

Have no clue were you got that information from... Sentinel was added by the SCORE team after shutdown it has nothing to do with NCSoft its custom for their private build which is what this server is using... and many of the newer secondary powers were also SCORE additions... for example Ninja Training (not new but new for blasters)... You can read all the SCORE teams changes they made to the official i24 https://docs.google.com/document/d/11cLJiSYlfueJheOumRywG8Evip2Mjmu_30Y6ePaetqY/edit Its good to bare in mind that many of the coders are working with the i24 source code and improving/optimizing that as they dont have the source code for SCORES unofficial i25 build so if they make great improvements in the future with their build and optimize it to run better and require less hardware the Homecoming team maybe choose to switch over which most likely would require a wipe and the listed changes in that document would be gone but thats a long way down the road.

This is a private server run by volunteers who are paying for it out of pocket, I would expect they are doing it when they can fit it in around real world responsibilities.. also its a private server based on iffy/old/janky/unoptimized code so its not going to be 100% stable for a long time.... as this is something the volunteer group of coders are working on in their own free time.

The goal according to the coders is to take the i24 code which was the last official release from NCSoft (test server build) which would be the cleanest code they have and to well work out how it all ticks clean it up some more and then optimize the code/re-write the code to run as a self contained server so that it can take full advantage of modern server hardware instead of simply eating up more and more ram the more users that connect to the server which ends up in requiring more servers to spread the maps across. Now this is a grossly simplified way of putting it and if done would require an current server to basically start fresh as none of the tweaks SCORE made would be part of that build and from that point on it would be down to the individual server teams what they want to add to the server.

What he showed had a new features like search and the new classes etc the way the site used to get updated was using a tool on your computer that you downloaded and then it uploaded data to the site so they looks like the got a copy of the old site updated it with a search option and the new classes etc leo added for his modded i24(i25) and updated the data gathering tool. Point is updating the old site and tool would be all that is needed as it is not tied to a server or simply hosting the new site in a sub directory on this domain would work too but having a central site seems better as then people from all servers could use it without fear of it being controlled by one group.

So during DestroyerDestroyer's leak of the private server he showed that they had an updated version of the City Info Tracker site running for the server that also had past data. My question is simple has someone asked whoever made it if they will be updating the old site https://cit.cohtitan.com to use the new current site that was kept a secret so we could start using it again?

I heard it was the unofficial raid server/tea party server!... But really who needs a pvp server it had a small niche following on the live servers doubt the private servers will have a huge amount of people wanting to pvp.... best bet is to go on the most populated server.

The code for Tequila is on git (https://github.com/leandrotlz/Tequila) and has been for 5 years so, that's not really accurate. There has not been a line for line audit demanded of Tequila which is what we are getting for cream soda which is what I was what I meant about knowing less.

From a glance at the code seems fine (he uploaded it to github and is also doing a Full-Line Code Audit Report which will take about 48 hours to come out), I think the intent behind it was to offer an open source launcher that you yourself can see the code... If you want to talk security concerns etc we know less about tequila than cream soda... As others have pointed out no need to switch tho wait for a better launcher closer to the orignal which someone in the discord said they was going to work on at some point.

The xbox one/s controllers had an update awhile ago that makes it work on window 10 you have to connect it to the controller then connect the controlling using the micro-usb cable to the computer load up the xbox accessories app and update the firmware on the controller/pad to get it to work (newer controllers may work out of the box) Honestly I had forgot about the chatpad will give it a try when I can see if it works out of the box with no setup other than in game options.

The server is being run for free... well for us the GM's are paying for it out of their own pockets and we are talking $5k per month if not more for two servers.... there is over 7000 people trying to play so its first come first serve thats the only fair way to do it. You talk of the queue not being a solution but did not give a suggestion of what you think would solve the problem?

There is only private servers do you mean local? if you have a server setup locally then you just need to create a new shortcut to the score.exe with the string that is in the guide. I knew someone that did use a controller BUT its a pain... you have to use software to basically configure the controller for each class... as the game has no native support.. I think they used Pinnacle Game Profiler. I would recommend they get used to using a keyboard/mouse... its the best option and they will have a better time as the game was built for keyboard so there is lots of skills more than a controller has buttons... even using button combo's on a controller you will find it very hard to map everything to the controller.
