  1. So, according to the farm guides, the tanker is the best farmer, due to the changes in AE that happened...page 5, I think. A brute can still hold their own in a farm, but the build needs to focus less on dps and more on hitpoints and regen - and in many cases, will need the HP buff from two of the passive accolades. That said, the brute has a distinct advantage and that's the fury bar.
  2. About phase shift. It only lasts 30 seconds. It only takes 1/2 a second to cast, and another 1/2 second to activate. A lot can happen in the interval of time post-nuke and pre-phase shift. The worst thing that can happen is you get clobbered. It may be worth trying in certain scenarios. Usually, a nuke kills everything except maybe the boss when you're facing even-conned mobs. Facing +2 or +3, some of that may depend on slotting, external damage buffs like Assault, etc. But, against +4s, well, you may not get all of them and just do half damage. While your phase shifted for another 29 seconds...all you can do is run away or hope your teammates have a solution. I have a clear memory of being back on live around issue 3 or 4. I used phase shift to avoid some CoT. They just camped at me until the toggle dropped. But I can't recall if the toggle dropped because of some 30 second timer, or if I ran out of endurance. Now, the end use is only 18/s. Hardly worth noticing as toggles go, but after a nuke, it could be an issue for some characters struggling with endurance. Let us know how that goes. Sounds interesting.
  3. Sorry - I've got to echo ice corruptor. The reason why ice gets the nod over fire is because two are newer players. The hold from freeze ray is a very quick animation. When you're newer, using a simple hold like Freeze Ray is pretty nice. And some of you are talking about fire like it's in a whole different tier of dps. It's not. It might slightly eke out fire. Add to that - there's blizzard. Yes, it's DoT, as opposed to burst damage like inferno, but it's also a Targeted AoE so our newer players don't have to enter melee unless they want to do so. For the secondary, they could go natty, rad, dark - I'm not sure it matters that much. Empath is straightforward, but as mentioned, some of the better powers come later. Rad's only real draw backs are the lack of any status protection like Clear Mind, (but with AM, the holds/mez don't last as long) and the somewhat awkward time spent placing lingering radiation and radiation infection and enervating field - if they take all 3 - on the stronger bosses or AVs. Dark is a fine secondary...3 tar patches? 3 dark servants? 3 Twilight Grasps? one might miss, but surely not both of the other two. I enjoyed my ice/dark corruptor a lot more than my fire/dark corruptor. Not real sure why, but I think it was the holds the ice primary has. From where I sat, the dps is pretty much the same. There was never an incident where I thought, "Gee, my fire corruptor would have killed this npc by now". but, opinions will vary. If it were me, I'd try to convince the other two to make 3 different characters each. That is, each player creates the same 3 characters. Play each for a few missions, and see how they like them. Some folks are better geared towards melee; some ranged, some both. Some folks are better off with a secondary that would have buffs that last 4 minutes, or might fare better with debuffs, like dark. But, that's just me.
  4. No, no very rare there. Those are just both rare. But, still fortunate, I suppose.
  5. So, I clobber some council for Stephanie Peebles. One turned out to be a boss. Not only did I get two recipes, (seemingly) but both from the same set. I can't say I've ever noticed that happening before. Not sure what's more rare - both from the same set, or two recipes for one defeat. Or is it lag from the previous kill?
  6. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I can't prove it, but I know with 100% certainty my event messages said Jurrasik was spotted in Crey's Folly. At the risk of coming off harshly, be sure you have hero zone event messages enabled in one of your chat boxes. Sometimes, when we switch alignments, the game doesn't automatically adjust these for us, if they ever do. I'll be keeping you in mind if I see him and give you a shout.
  7. I have no idea why I never thought of this. Imagine! The first place winner gets something like 100 Million, and I give the one I like 1 billion. Now that's my idea of fun! lol
  8. That's kind of my point. I imagine there are some who do find time to live inside the game. But is that, and should that be the focus of our end-game content? I'd imagine those who find the time would say yes, and those who don't might say no. And of course, there are some who don't really care one way or the other. They're stopping at level 20 or 30 or somewhere along the path.
  9. So, I play blasters more than anything. And approaches to the blaster life can and do vary from player to player, and even from character to character. Consider the ice/ice blaster: Freeze Ray Bitter Freeze Ray Freezing Touch With 3 holds, being proactive pays dividends. Hold them before they hold you. Experience and the HC wiki can tell you which mobs have holds/mez/stuns/sleeps if you don't know already. With a fire blaster, this simply isn't an option. It's an entirely different mind-set. Kill quickly or be killed quickly. The electric blaster has a tesla cage. The animation is a bit longer, but the net result is certainly cooler looking. You can try to drain their endurance, if that's your thing, but draining the hitpoints works faster, in my opinion. Some folks prefer to avoid melee when playing a blaster because, simply put, it's safer. When fighting freaks, those tank bosses can drop a sledge hammer/fist on your noggin and have you seeing tweety birds, figuratively. Maybe literally, too. When teamed with a tank, they seldom do this, as the tank gets most of the attention. Still damage is an effective distraction from a tank's inherent taunt aura. And if you're on a large team, that means more mobs. And sometimes a tank doesn't/can't/won't taunt to save your skin. Getting mezzed - sure, we can say use a macro to make a break free if you need one, or carry them around - or ask your teammate for one, but really the best solution that doesn't cost you influence from buying an amplifier is to raise your ranged defense, as most holds and sleeps are coming from range. Also, consider the Atomic secondary: The sustain for the the */atomic blaster is bananas. Now, unfortunately, there's no way to raise this from mere resistance to protection. But, it does seem to reduce the time my blaster is held. So...maybe ice/atomic would be a nifty way to go, eh? No Frozen touch, cuz that's an ice secondary golden hold, but the freeze ray is super fast. Bitter Freeze Ray is longer, but it's a great opener, at least, when solo. When teamed, you'd likely only use it under certain conditions. I guess what I'm saying is - there is no such thing, outside of a defensive amplifier from the START vendor (or from hero/villain packs), or a teammate's buff, to protect you from getting mezzed. The key is to know ahead of time when the odds of getting mezzed are more likely. You keep your health bar under close scrutiny; avoid melee when you're not at 90-100% health. And most of the time, if you get mezzed, it's helpful to your teammates to say ZZZZ in team chat. That usually gets you some clarity or something like that. And, if all else fails, then use a break free. You should have a dozen stashed in AH, and pick a couple out of the stash at the beginning of each mission.
  10. A few weeks ago, I gave away 23 billion. It's a sizeable amount, but - I think it's a nostalgic, yet good way to distribute wealth. My only issue with it is my tastes are not aligned with the majority. I was a judge for one of Cosmic Council's CCs a couple of years ago. We had a panel of at least 5 judges. I think it was 8. Everyone picked their top 5, ranked in order of preference. Only one of my top 5 was on anybody else's list, and that was just one other person's. 4 of my favorites didn't make the grade for anyone else. None of my choices made the cut. As for the new players influencing the market, that's fine. It'll stabilize in the weeks to come.
  11. Once a week, I team with a few folks. During this time, I subject them to the worst jokes I've heard that week. and maybe one good one. I do this to hear the pained expressions over discord. One person tells me they really like them, but will never admit so publicly. Every now and then, one of these puns/jokes becomes the name for my next alt. I don't recall the exact wording, but it had to do with ketchup in the eyes resulting in Heinzsight. So, I made an ill/cold controller out of the punchline the next day. A miserable character; only been defeated twice in combat due more to my conservative combat strategy than anything else. But, it's just a bore. In hindsight, I'd have made Heinzsight something a little more fun to play, like an SS/Fire brute. But, I already have a few of those. Maybe a fire/SS tank. Or a blaster. Nothing wrong will ill/cold, but you have to wait so long to get perma-PA, it's a bit dull to play. But that's usually what starts my character creation - a silly name. Sometimes the character will fit the name, and sometimes not. I currently have a name reserved, "Subliminal Man". But, the idea of making a mind dom is repulsive to me, so I'll likely wait until I figure something else out. Once I have the name, I click on Random Costume about 20 times and see if anything interesting pops up. If not, I'll use an SG costume file that someone else made, and then edit it to have better colors and a better hair cut. And certainly a better belt, gloves and boots. Dunno what the original costume maker had in mind, but I'm not playing Little Lord Fontleroy. The cape is okay, as is the rest of it. Usually, I try to avoid DFB. DFB is fine for XP, but you get no merits out of it. The economy is riding on reward merits, and ergo, converters. This is why I typically avoid radio missions, too. They're a waste of earned XP. You get some inf, maybe a few drops, maybe a temp power here or there - and maybe a badge - but you could have gotten reward merits to fund your alts. Maybe if I've been productive and completed all the arcs I could in that level range, and have no desire to suffer through a Synapse...but that's a rare time. So, I'll try to get Aaron Theiry's arc, and the two arcs in Kings Row. Then off to Steel until I hit level 15, and then I'm in Faultline until 20, then I'm off to Striga until 25, where I head to Croatoa. I'm in Croatoa until the 30's, then it's off to Bricks for Marchand. Marchand has a first mission that's awesome. Some allies/pets that are amazing. I never complete this mission until level 45 or 50. I milk this for a few bars of XP on certain builds to get those next three slots. Set it to +4/8, and let the allies work. After, I'll run Kendrick or Anton Sampson, depending on how the game makes introductions. At 40, I have done Tina MacIntyre's arc at least 100 times. Possibly 200. It's not a bad arc, but I'm bored with it. I have the AM mission finale saved, and will bring the alt on, get the AM kill credit and head to RWZ and do those arcs until 45. Then, no way around it, have to do Maria Jenkins' arc if I want the PJ accolade, so I do the arc. I have Siege saved on a few alts, so I get credit for that one, too. Had an in-game friend who used to wait until 50 to do all 4 accolades in about 90 minutes. But, for whatever reason, despite the marginal gain of the accolades, I like to get them done sooner than later. Like Invader somewhere between level 4 and level 20. After MJ's arc is done, if I'm on during an MSR, I'll try to fit those in as I can. When I ding 50, what happens next is largely up to how much interest I have developed in the character. Generally, I burn a transcendent merit getting the t-3 alpha. Then it's iTrials OR Dark Astoria arcs, very rarely would I do both, but that's up to the RNG. I might do some hami raids, but I really feel badly about doing those. I've marketed and farmed, and a cyto Hami O is something that would make most players delighted. For me, it's a ho-hum thing, because I can already buy all of them now if I wanted. So, unless I just want the emp merits for something, I'll try to stay out of those for players that need the loot more than me. I do like getting the shards from the mitos, though. A lot of players loudly proclaim about how threads drop so much more than shards, but I think they're just doing different content. I get being in a hurry for the level shift. But once you get it - you can do an ITF, LGTF, MsLibTF, CoP, Kahn and you can grab a lot of those components worth 4 shards. While merits drive the economy and are the major motivator, with thousands of merits in my email from winter packs, it doesn't matter to me, I'd rather have the components. I like being able to burn transcendent merits to t-3 my alpha once it's unlocked. In fact, I've gotten weary of both iTrials and the DA arcs and have sometimes parked less interesting characters, moved them to the last page of slots on the character list and will respec and delete them once I've got space in my base for the enhancements. It all depends. Now - one character- will do nothing but team, without much aid from p2w/start vendor and team exclusively with the SG I run with, going from 1 to 50. But that's more of an outlier. The rest of them will solo or team as described above.
  12. What is your global accuracy, and how do you have Fold Space slotted? I've never been able to port Rikti in the bowl, even using the Ultimate Insp.
  13. I can't speak for every transaction, but I was selling a lot of stuff, and one of my lotg's got lost in the shuffle and was listed at 2.7m by mistake, as I was kind of zoned out, distracted. So, at least one of the cheap ones was my fault.
  14. Yes, it is. The attached file in my post above is dated, so it won't have the latest badges. In fact, they have simplified the process, making everything fairly easy, and straightforward - but it does involve some reading. This is the section of the forums where you should be looking: Now, at first glance, it looks like it would be terribly complicated - and a lot more hassle than you want for what you get. But it is quite easy. The hard part is when you don't read through the various instructions and try to wing it like I did. The few problems I did have were of my own doing. I did have to remove my old copy of vidiot maps (to get the latest version), and the pop-menu with the latest badges, I had to remove the old one that was in my data folder before it would work. But once I did that, and shut the game down and restarted, it worked fine. The best thing about it is when I don't quite remember where an exploration is, I just scroll to the name of it, and it places a thumbtack where I need to go - assuming I'm in the proper zone.
  15. It's been quite some time since I've even thought about farming. The only reason I'm going revisit it is my inability to stomach the same iTrials over and over again for the incarnate bits. It seems I like repeating the lower level stuff more than the higher level stuff. Lord only knows why. Since we can transfer emp merits (transcendent merits are actually the goal), it makes sense to me to have a character PLing another character while I actively play on my third account. And, then, if all works well, I rotate which account is actively playing, where the account that got PL'd will have enough emp merits to send to the next alt where iTrials will be something I might choose to do or choose not to do, rather then repeat the same heather townsend or iTrial trains ad nauseum. My question is simple in form, but likely not so simple in answer: what do you mean by "best". Inf and vet level XP correlates, and pretty sure my goals are not aligned with most of the goals of your typical farmer. By best are you referring to inf or xp gain per some metric of time? Or are you measuring something else? I have an afk rad/fire brute that does fairly well, but something is happening behind the combat log that's not mentioned. Combat attributes that are monitored like fire defense and fire resistance never waver, yet there seems to be some sort of failure. I never know why because I'm afk - (Well, tabbed out is probably more precise). Occasionally, I tab back in and see things are fine. And sometimes, I'll see defeat is imminent. I check the combat logs and there's no explanation as to why. If there's any -defense happening, this isn't shown on my combat log, and my combat attributes don't indicate anything amiss. It doesn't happen often; I can accept it as the cost of doing business. Still, I would be interested in seeing this elec/rad tank, as I already have one that's probably never been in AE. Might be interesting for me to use a second build and put it to work. The afk farm build that's in the edited initial post is for a rad/fire brute that didn't even take burn - which kind of boggles my old-fashioned mindset. I looked through a few pages, and it's possible I missed it. Can you share that build? NVM, it just slapped me in the face. I found it. Still - what did you mean by best?
  16. Has anyone suggested to our OP that his title could use some refinement as well? "Why cannot people use words right" vs "Why can't people use words properly" In Snarky's defense, we at least know what he meant. Not so sure about the power description. For example, replacing the word right with properly. It reminds me of the American grad student in college, competing for a paid position with an international grad student. He says, "They better give that stipend to me. I speak English gooder than he does" (that's an actual quote I overheard from a bigot grad student in 2004! )
  17. So, my expectation is similar. Except for the part where a player has worked to maximize their character to the fullest extent. I'm all for teamwork and coordination, particularly since Discord seems fairly popular, and is a useful tool for doing just that. This notion of "maximizing", I think it may mean different things to different people.
  18. I don't grasp what this is attempting to do. If players want to work as a team, the option is and has always been there. What this seems to suggest is forcing players to deal with extra ambushes, much like a farmer would desire in AE. Okay. But if implemented, it's not going to turn out like you think. We'll make builds to farm it for the xp (and inf) and the extra merits you propose. Working as a team is easily promoted by teammates communicating. That's all it takes.
  19. I think playstyle has more of an impact on a player's perception of a sets performance than the actual numbers. I'm currently playing an ill/cold controller, level 42 atm. It's an odd duck the controller, particularly leveling it more solo than not. I have no idea how anyone ever had fun with this character before set bonuses were a thing, but I digress. It's fairly common for players to pursue a "perma-PA" with the illusion primary, and for good reason. Except for the Crystal Titan and Hamidon, they are pretty much unstoppable, as far as I know. So, what can I safely do when they go away? There's the AoE hold, and the spectral terror, and the phantasm has its own illusionary pet. This takes a lot of attention, and a fair amount of clicking during the 10-20 second downtime, as I await the perma PA solution. Much of that solution are purple sets, so I have to wait until 50. In a game where more than half the action is pre-50, I don't reach my peak until 50. Well, why should the controller be any different from any other AT, right? It is what it is. My point is, it would be easy to hope for 1) the ambrosia from Eden Trial to work for my pets - but it doesn't. It would be easy to hope for the PA to be a toggle, that simply turns off based on the recharge, and turns back on when the recharge is up; (but can be turned off by the player if desired - there are occasions where we don't want the pets out) I can say the set is weak in damage (it is) but ultimately, it's not the set - it's my playstyle. I'm not playing a blaster, or a brute with burn and foot stomp. Of course the damage is weak. It's all relative. Do I think powers and powersets that are under-performing should be buffed to where they are on par with other powersets, as opposed to nerfing the over-performing ones? This is a complex question. I fail to grasp how one or more people can reach this conclusion of, for example: "Rune of Protection is OP. We need to adjust it so it's in line with XYZ". I would argue that the people considering if something is OP or not may not be doing an actual examination, just using anecdotal evidence. There are players in this game that have super fast reflexes, know binds and macros inside and out, and have a definitive, clear understanding of the game mechanics, the powers of the npcs they are facing, and can build characters with IOs that will make the average player look slow, clumsy and stupid. I would submit the premise that the players that have this kind of clear understanding are more likely to be volunteering their time and effort in brainstorm and may be skewing the results of their conclusions without taking into account the average player. And I could certainly be wrong about that. Won't be the first time. I just know as a player, I still have at least half a dozen characters that have been idle since that change to Rune of Protection. I haven't taken the mystic pool since. Now, that's just me, and I'm just one player. I'm sure I'm not the only one, but I've no idea how many or few folks even sweat changes to various powers. It could be argued that if I build my character around a power, then clearly the power needs some downward regulation. Do we say that about Domination? Dull Pain? Hasten? It's not a great argument for the change, in my opinion. I like to remind myself this is a game. The game, in order to stay alive, it must continue to be interesting/amusing to those that play it. So, just one player's opinion doesn't mean that much, if anything. But, my thoughts are to not change powers. If a set is under-performing from some set of metrics, understand the set is not played in a vacuum. It may be played solo, or a on a team. And some teams will help that powerset to shine. Others, perhaps not so much. But so what? Do we worry that everyone stops playing a controller because of the comparatively weak damage? Not when they see it shine at level 50, literally controlling the flow of battle. So, I'm not worried about these under-performing sets. Sooner or later, we play them, and try to make them shine, such as they are. Isn't that where the real fun is? Making something work, even when it doesn't?
  20. For me, I look at the SSA out of Skyway, Who Will Die part 1 as a fairly simple - across all characters that are over level 10, assuming your 50 is using attuned sets or heck, even if not. The problem with the SSA #1 is, there's a limit to the rewards, right? I do think Ouro is the path for consistent, speedy merits. Which arc will vary with your level and playstyle. The Unlucky Artifact, if you have stealth and can clobber Tavaris fairly quickly, before the aggro from the surrounding CoT gets to you - it's literally a 90 second mission, if that - for 2 merits. If you use your SG base with a pillar, rather than using Ouro, and assuming your base is designed with speed in mind, I think it would be faster than using an ouro portal, completing, resetting, and teleporting to the mission. With the temp sg portal, you'd come out at the same spot as the mission, I'm pretty sure. I haven't been after merits/minute since the first year HC opened up. Still, for most higher dps characters, that's 2 merits every 2 minutes, roughly. I learned something going for Loop Hero badge. It's a 20 merit arc. And it took me about 20-25 minutes the first time because I'd never run it before. But by the time I got to the last run to get the badge, it was only 12 minutes. Now, that's not as fast as some of my faster times with the SSA#1, but it's close. And it doesn't diminish - at least, it didn't after the last run. (need 4 or 5 runs to get the badge, depending on whether or not you knew you needed to do things differently. I hadn't read about the badge, I thought it was a run and done type deal. ) Still, that's not too shabby. There is a lot more need for mission transports, and the lrtp is certainly useful, because there's one mission in it that requires you to go to Striga to talk to M1dway. But - it doesn't allow for a lower level character to take advantage of the rep scheme. I don't know that there's a universally accepted merits/minute winner across all levels. But for a level 50, solo, I kind of like the Noble Intentions arc - 20 merits for 12 minutes - if you exclude the Hami runs in the abyss- which still take time because you have to enter the zone early to ensure you get a spot. It's still worth it, but I don't think those wait times are a part of most peoples merit/minute calculation. And Apex/Tin Mage combo - some might think these are guaranteed simple, both done in less than 30 minutes. That's not always true. Some teams just don't have the juice, believe it or not. Most will, but certainly not all are efficient at speeding them. A lot of players avoid the speedy stuff for reasons of their own. So, again, there's sometimes longer recruiting times than you might think.
  21. Experiences with end game content for me have been ...well, limited. A few days ago, an in-game friend wanted to know if I wanted to run "Excalibonk", whatever that is. Turns it, while I'm still not sure what it is, they were referring to Advanced mode LGTF. Not sure why it has that nickname, though. I suspect it has to do with a reward or something at the end of it. In any event, since I still lack the "doesn't look at explosions" badge, I figured I'd give it a shot. I'd done this 1 star before, just once, and it wasn't a lot of fun, but I'm assuming my team wasn't very good. But, hearing of some of the failures, maybe it was good enough. In my discussion with my in-game friend, he suggested I make some changes to my build to maximize psionic and toxic resistances and defenses. What's this now? If we enter an advanced mode tf, I should do a respec, specifically for this task? Granted, nobody put a gun to my head and said I had to run this, nor is it very clear to me that a respec will be necessary to fare adequately enough to complete the task force and get the badge - which is the only reason I'm doing it. It just seems to me that there's something missing in this equation. I completely understand that easy equates to boredom for many folks. To a degree, I count myself in that mix. If it's too easy, then where's the fun, right? But this notion of preparing for a tf. This is not something I've ever done before. For ITF and Aeon, their hard modes - all we really did was stagger barrier for the most part. And there was more communication, using discord. Not sure I'd want to run those without discord. I already had t-4 barrier, so it wasn't a big deal. At this point, I'm not qualified to speak at what's specifically right or wrong with these hard modes. And it could just be my in-game friend is a little insane with the suggestions. That's possible. But I'm going to run one again soon, and I hope I'm going to experience something that's challenging, but not overly so. I hope I'm not in the midst of it, thinking, "we need a XXXX" or "We should have brought an XXXXX" The best part of teaming with CoH has been the idea that there was never a need to bring any specific AT or powerset. Any collection of 8 heroes would be sufficient. Obviously, an "advanced" mode might require some more thought. And I've no idea where the line should be drawn. But it would seem to me that the amount of X defense a character carries should be something a teammate's buffs or debuffs, or aggro management can overcome. Is this an unrealistic expectation? I guess I'll find out.
  22. A man convinced against his will, is of the same opinion, still. It doesn't matter what is said here, OP is thinking he's outgrown the game - and the truth is, that's entirely possible. But some folks, like myself on alternate Thursdays..and maybe every third Tuesday, aren't going to be happy with ANYTHING. It's easier to point out the ridiculousness or lack of realism than to look inward and realize we're being unrealistic about our expectations. I suspect the OP is in that category. Unhappy with the game for whatever reason, and then posts about why. Fine by me. But to ask folks to point out where the intellectual amusement from the game is - that's just not really feasible. We've only got some references of what they like and don't like. I'm not a streaming platform tracking what was given a thumbs up or thumbs down to suggest the next arc. After playing the game for years, I'm not real clear on what I enjoy - as some characters have a better time with some content than others. I normally enjoy the Nemesis arcs of Anton Sampson and Maxwell Christopher. But not on this ill/cold controller I have. And it's more about the character. Feeling like I could just wait 8 more seconds until PA is back up before I start to engage the next set of mobs. That's me, and not a real concern. If OP has outgrown the game, then I would expect this to be his final post. A shame. The game can use all the players it can get. And yeah, it would be nice if we could have fantastic story tellers like Stan Lee guiding the ship creatively. (and some might dislike that direction, as the OP considers Marvel Universe a "hellhole".) Doesn't have to be exactly like that - just a good story teller. But for what audience?
  23. Setting the stage here. After clobbering half a dozen Kronos in Talos, the system chat tells me there's a Rikti Invasion in Founders, so I head over, and get a league invite. We spend a few minutes clobbering the bombs and then group for the Rikti spawns. This is what I see in league chat: I have removed the names, and won't say who said what. Please discuss. Someone was right. And perhaps everyone was wrong. These discussions may help someone know when they should comply and when they should tell someone to kick rocks. But be polite if you know how.
  24. Don't forget about the word Plethora. Plethora suggests quantity AND variety. So many people don't realize this. I know a plethora of words. But I've no idea how to accurately pronounce plethora. I've read it. Used in in my own writing, but I don't think I've ever spoken the word aloud. I'll hush now.
  25. Not sure if serious. This entire game relies on suspension of disbelief. "Oh, I'm going to make an MA/SR character with a natural origin! Totally, that can exist in real life!" Perhaps. Are there cute women in skirts who can zap electricity and kick you in your face that stand on a pedestal and grant you more abilities without you having to learn to stretch first? Perhaps not. If the game seems too banal, there's a reason for that. It is designed for teenagers, and perhaps, young adults - the target market for comic books. Granted, there are some folks who simply enjoy the nostalgia for a few weeks at a time, and disappear for a time, and then reappear when new content is provided. There are others who may or may not be a victim of arrested development and feel very comfortable mindlessly investing a lot more time in game than what some would consider healthy. We're all different. And if you think any of us can figure out what YOU would find stupid and what you would find potentially interesting, please, think again.
