Hey on the Incarnate what is the wisest way to spend the E merits? Only on T4s or only on certain T4s? Buddy of mine said they are hard to come by so I've not wanted to use them this early, only at Vet level 11. Reason I'm asking is I wanna craft the T4 Ageless but can never get the very rare Alloy to drop.

To all... Look I'm still VEEEEEERY new and am just realizing how new. I really shouldn't ask questions until I've seen the game from a 50's perspective, than I might actually ask intelligent questions....maybe. I'm running @Infinitumbuild with but one set swap due to having it lying around and the set he slotted is still...well I'm saving up, another day or two and I'll get it. But the build is a beast. It was a chore leveling as I was slotting the build as he had it. If I did it again I'd shore up my endurance for a quality of life improvement and then respec at 50 or after I got Ageless. Which I do and now all endurance issues are nada. I can literally go facerolling and never run out. And the resist/def/regen is good enough that as of so far I don't need Dull Pain cause I keep forgetting it as I've only needed it a handful of times. But hey that is not a dig on anyone else's build. But I had a theme I was looking for which Infinitum met and I wanted performance, which I can attest to. I'm very appreciative of anyone that pops on here and helps just because they can.

I could see Rad sort of it does fit but the effects. I don't see Bio at all, perhaps WP... But Hulk is pretty dang invulnerable. But hey we all roll our own way.

This is my first attempt at posting a build, it's sort of mine. I modified @Infinitum SS/Inv build from like 2 years ago. It's for a "Hulk" build so I needed Super Jump instead of Flight and I took everything in the Fighting pool and needed to move some enhancements around, but everything else is from the original build, which I think was really good. I wanted Hand Clap and Hurl but couldn't fit them as I also wanted the build to actually be viable...or what I think is viable, which is what I'm hoping you guys might let me know. So I took someone's older build and modified it. That worked until I saved it.

Something I cannot figure out. Finally got Mids Reborn installed. I can open other people's builds and everything is fine, but I've tried twice now to build my own and both times the Resistances show -900+ for all. What am I doing wrong? Might be a bug... If I open someone's build and the file extension is .mxd then open one of mine after that one then mine will read fine. Mine are saving files as .mbd. Edit: Fixed! Thanks to everyone's help. Rest was toggled on.

Nope...don't know what mids is. I've got an inkling what it is, like a build manager right? Yes I took Energy Mastery.....and it literally just dawned on me that EM is energy mastery....doh! Hahaha But seriously, is mids a complementary program for CoH/V or is it part of it?

On this "and start getting XP towards vet levels" bit, is it beneficial to do double XP at that point or is that even an option at 50?

It's cool, OP is just sussing out game-life. I dig it. I fall in between reality and roleplay. I don't have a particularly vivid imagination but I wholly appreciate those that do. However, when I'm in-game and I see that boss baddie tugging on that nice lady's purse, I just have to help. I can get immersed in the game while realizing it's not me, almost I think, like a writer might do as they tap out a novel, but I do sometimes think as I think the hero would and do the thing I think he would do and not the thing I might have actually done as myself... Like I said somewhere between. Also....how confusing is that?! So I can't do roleplay. I just don't see it and like I said I just don't have the mental mechanics for it, but I enjoy observing it and would never intentionally mess it up for someone else. Having said all that.... RPers, don't be so strict about it with those of us who don't get that deep. I chose Everlasting randomly and it turned out to be the RP shard and I didn't realize this until I'd made it my home, so too late now. People have, with me at times, assumed I was an RPer but then eventually they'll discover I'm not and even though we might've had a good time hanging out running and gunning I'll get ghosted from then on. So now I look at the bio or the RP tags above the heads and I'll try not to bug them, but then to my mind it's wasteful to be so narrow-minded that you can't have a good time unless you are 100% immersed at all times. Think of me just as a dude playing another dude pretending to be another dude. I mean if you are an RPer just pretend I'm from an alternate universe or something....make it work you've got the skills for crying out loud. And I'm always me rather I'm Vinny, EB, Mike, Tre, Wu or any one of my many toons of which I answer to all...just helpful little ole me. Ok... Finally about to get a 50 under my belt, my Ele/Ele Scrapper and I have a couple questions about things I see people posting that I don't understand yet. After 50 is there another pool of powers that open up beyond the one that opens in the 30s (or is it 40s)? Cause I see people posting: MA/SR/Mu or Ele/EA/Ele stuff like that. And I've not seen Mu or Electric or many others people put in the third category. I actually wanted Electric on this Scrapper for the 3rd but it didn't exist for me. I've got pretty much all attuned enhancements, am I ripping them out and putting level 50 stuff in? And does that mean after 50 pretty much every AT is running the same enhancements, cause that's not the impression I've gotten. And Incarnates.... Where does that journey begin and as a completely fresh 50 do I look for groups or is it a solo thing? Thanks in advance! ....seriously just 2 bars! But I ran out of play time last night....soon as I get home though it's on.

Ok. All I've heard is "perma Hasten ASAP." And I will say that when it's on, oh man is it fun. Yes I popped a full set of attuned Preventive Med in the heal. That's great advice that I'll be putting to use on all my other toons. I should hit 50 this evening, my first one! I've only got like 130ish merits. What should be my first move? Any post 50 guides or guidance?

@Yomo Kimyata I took your advice on the enhancements. Since this was a fresh toon it felt easier than starting over with my other Scapper. Focused on resists first melee second and used attuned stuff. Life was made so much the easier for it. So thank you very much for the heads up. I tried picking IOs that plugged holes but I'm not very good at frankenslotting, yet. You definitely pointed me in the right direction. I've now put in as many bids as my Inf allows and will be respecing as soon as the enhancements roll in. Quick question about Hasten (for anyone), I've got my recharge up to 58% and I've plopped 2 50lvl recharge in Hasten but it's still not good for perma. Where do I need to be to make that happen? Still about 30 seconds off. With Hasten my recharge is 128%.

Yeah I'm trying to get them up. Got Psi at 75% and Energy as well, got Lethal and Smashing in the mid 60s, Cold and Fire are low 50s, Toxic is only 11%. When you say "max" do you mean 75% or whatever the soft cap is?

So without Rad armor Electic shines? I can make 2nd best work :) Besides, I have a Rad armor Brute and those effects are cool but Electric is better. Just so long as when I get to 50 I don't find myself stuck with nothing to do....
